Zalophus japonicus, Your Under The Sea Healer
ApocalypseGal posted a suggestion in Creature Submissions
Name: Japanese sea lion Species: Zalophus japonicus Time: 1970’s Diet: Carnivore/Piscivore Temperament: Friendly, Playful Sea lions are known by their exterior ear flaps, their long fore flippers, and a big chest and belly. They have a thick layer of short fur that covers a thick layer of blubber which keeps them warm in the sea. Wild: You will be able to spot these aquatic mammals spending there day relaxing on the ark’s beaches/coasts or swimming through the sea hunting for their desired food, they these versatile hunters can be found hunting alone or in packs, they are able to catch fish and other small marine creatures at ease. They are very playful social animals you may even see them playing with each other, you might even spot them swimming and playing with the dolphins. I have heard from other tribes that they are so friendly that they would even swim right up and try to befriend you. I also heard stories about how these creatures have been spotted saving those at sea. These sealions have adapted to be agile, not only are they able to navigate the sea at great speed just like the Ichthyosaurus, but they too can move decently on land also. Domesticated: Once you have tamed one, they become a valuable companion, there swimming abilities make them an excellent water exploration mount. They seem to be able to sense when people are in danger and are quick to notify and aid those in need. over time they create oil just like the basilo/tuso. Abilities and features these are just some of the idea’s I had imagined for some features of Zalophus. Lifeguard: this would be a sense allowing them to detect when a survivor is in low in oxygen and in danger. Breath of fresh air: Zalophus can blow bubbles which will replenish survivor’s oxygen, giving them that extra time to make it to the surface. Air/healing bubbles: a separate ability when they spin/splash about in the sea creating air bubbles with a range around Zalophus, these air bubbles could act providing air to multiple survivors/tames for a period of time within the bubble range, it could also have a healing affect within that range and only for this ability. Insulation: Since their body is made up of thick blubber with an added layer of short fur to keep them warm, I think they should be able to provide a insulation to keep survivors warmer in the cold sea Shock resistant: since they have thick blubber it could make them resistant to the shocks of eels and jellyfish. Oil supply: naturally generates oil after a period of time. agile swimmers: are incredibly fast and can navigate the sea very well. pack boost: with other sealions/Ichthyosaurus. Perform: They are able to preform a clapping animation that gives passive xp to nearby dinosaurs. Behavior: The sea lions are not aggressive until they are attacked, they are super friendly and will even approach survivors. If attacked, they can fight back by biting or with a fin/tail thump. Drops: Raw Meat Raw Prime Meat Oil Blubber Taming: Many of you may be wondering how to tame your own Zalo. To do so, you must first offer its desired food passively (fish or kibble later game) to it. After doing so, it will then allow you to hold onto it and swim along with it. While swimming along with the Zalo, you will need to feed it more of its preferred food. It will pop up notifying you when to feed it, failing to feed it on time will cause you not only to lose taming effectiveness but it will also dismount you and stun you by slapping you with its tail. You will be able to re-approach and continue taming by offering them their preferred food and repeating the process. (Note. Getting knocked off doesn't reset your taming progress however it does lower your taming effectiveness) You can learn more about Japanese sea lions from these sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_sea_lion , https://www.today.com/pets/dolphin-seal-are-underwater-bffs-flna878362 -
The Tiktaalik is considered a transitional fossil species between fish and land vertebrates. My idea for ark would be it is a mid sized tameable creature swaming in swamps and muddy areas it would be able to burry itself in mud , have a hydration buff when in water and shoot out mud that slows down creatures and also can be modified with sparkpowder to act like canon balls for taming golems and other creatures. It would also be able to provide oxygen to the player when in water making it a perfect tame to use when exploring the waterways and wetlands. This creature would also have the ability to effecinitly gather pearls with its jaws from both the ground and by killing animals such as trilobites it would be predator of small water creatures in the swamps and would also be able to crawl out of water though it would be slower then when swiming though It would be a quicker burier in soil then a walker. Also it could also use its tail to kick up dust particles to blind and slow down enemies. Al

He exist in western australia in the Pleistocene. A mamal like a Maewing with the eggs I am not really kreativ for create a nice submission but this animal is very interesting i have a few ideas, he can farm very good clay, chitin and cactus sap. he can move like the basilisk under the earth and is resisant vs the heat wave ore the sand storm. he lays eggs. Near Murrayglossus or as a rider you have insect repellent like the insect repellent and when the echidna eats insects it gets the megatherium insect buff. Likewise, if you eat the eggs, they could work like the insect repellent. Murrayglossus is ridden with a fully armored metal saddle, such as a medieval horse armor. The animal is passively tamed with honey or insects and arachnids (dead mantis, lymantria, scorpions or ants, etc.). Murrayglossus is immune to Poison, Stun, and Species X plants. You can't grab it with flying beasts and the player can't be ripped off with flying beasts either. It takes less damage from insects and arachnids and is also good at farming sap and silk. Of course, as a defense, it could also wag dust with its claws that confuses enemies so it can flee or burrow better. And now to you, you find this creature interesting and would like to contribute to what will become of this anima, then feel free and write your ideas under this post for a good make together creature Pictures from the existing version:

>>>Timonya (ancient salamander or ancient axolotl???)<<<
AzulongM0N posted a suggestion in Creature Submissions
Timonya is an extinct genus of Temnospondyl caudate amphibian represented by the type species Timonya anneae from the Early Permian of Brazil. It was probably a small aquatic predator that inhabited lakes and swamps during the Early Permian. The center of tetrapod diversity was in the equatorial regions of the supercontinent Pangea, and Timonya was part of this fauna. This cute, strange-shouldered creature, which looks like a small mix of Diplocaulus and Kaprosuchus (between 30 and 40 centimeters long), with the gills of an axolotl on its head. It is a species of salamander that does not develop in the larval stage, remaining in this state even as an adult and only undergoes metamorphosis when it receives the necessary hormones from others of its species. They are good at swimming fast but very slow on land, they are friendly to players but hostile to fish like coelacanths, and they have enormous regeneration. This creature is very rare and popular among survivors due to its very useful abilities, especially because it is a lucky charm capable of improving the survivor's looting and crafting skills! Features: - they have several different colors ranging from the most common (Pink, Black...) to the rarest (... Green, Gold); - Wild Timonyas release hormones that in a certain quantity and from a certain level can be used to force the metamorphosis of your domesticated "axolotl"; - they can breathe in and out of water, but they need humidity to not dry out, so it's a good idea to have plenty of water in your inventory; - even wild axolotls regenerate very quickly, so to kill them you need to be "strong and fast"; - they are immune to torpor and due to their slippery body they are not hit by arrows or claws; Skills: - Healer: While on the Survivor's shoulder, grants a small bonus to Stamina health regeneration; - Itemfinder: gets agitated near loot; - Flashbang: when attacked, generates a flash that scares and briefly blinds any nearby creature, even its owner, unless it is on its shoulder (this ability prevents attacks, especially those from Purlovia, Thylacoleo, Raptor, Baryonyx...) ; - Larval Phase: can generate light like other luminous creatures, however, this light grants the status of “Luck” to everyone it illuminates. This “luck” generates a chance to improve its owner's fabrications according to their manufacturing skill, in addition to being able to improve loot, whether from Air drops or creatures, making, for example, a normal pickaxe or saddle become ascendant ( leaving a certain glow on upgraded items to show that they have been changed); - Salamander Phase: when it undergoes metamorphosis and assumes its adult salamander form, it transforms into a shoulder-bearing creature, similar to the sinomacrops, improving its swimming instead of flying! Its light changes and instead of granting "luck" it starts giving a small XP bonus to everything it illuminates (similar to, but better than, a lytrosaurus); -Underwater Collector: when it is in the water, in its adult form (like a salamander), it automatically farms the same resources as the beaver house such as cement, rare flower and mushroom, silica pearl, as well as black pearl! Domestication: It will be a passive taming, using a special bait made from insect remains (chitin), fish meat, rare flower, honey, organic polymer and worm horn. Interestingly, the taming meter tends to rise more easily at night or in places dark like caves, you must find them in some water sources in or near caves, and you must fish them with special bait to remove them from the bottom of the water and only then will they accept any drop of insects or fish to complete the taming (you can tame him without the bait, but if you try he will, every time, use the light grenade and run away, but if he is attacked the taming meter will be reset and you will have to start again);-

Hello, today I am going to introduce you to a creature used in construction and support, even though it is a small creature. Meet the volaticotherium, the survivor's best friend. \(^^)/ 1 : Dino File Volaticotherium Volaticotherium intelligentillus Jurassic Passive Wild I have rarely seen volaticotheriums because Volaticotherium intelligentillus are victims of small or large carnivores like saber-toothed tigers. The volaticotheriums are small mammals that move quickly on the ground but can also climb walls and take flight like a flying squirrel. Feeding on corpses and pesky insects, the Volaticotherium can spit a cold, nauseating smoke powerful enough to affect electrical devices. Volaticotheriums are also intelligent. One could say their intelligence is equal to that of a crow or a dolphin. Domesticated Taming one of these tiny creatures can be advantageous. You can teach it complex tasks, like sorting items, just as you would teach a hyaenodon to sit. Unfortunately for all survivors who thought they could turn the Volaticotherium into a parachute, it is impossible as these creatures are not strong enough. 2 : Abilities, Statistics, and Usage Here are the abilities of the Volaticotherium The Volaticotherium would be useful on the ground and on the shoulder. Shoulder Abilities The intelligence and breath of the Volaticotherium can assist you. It can repair your armor or weapon, reload your firearms, make you invisible, and heal you automatically. 1) To repair your armor or weapon automatically on you and not on a workbench, simply bring repair materials and put them in your Volaticotherium or inside you, and it will automatically repair them before they become brittle. 2) The Volaticotherium can reload your weapons. When the Volaticotherium reloads a weapon, the reload time will be faster and the first bullet will always be slightly more powerful than the others. 3) The Volaticotherium can give you an effect called camouflage. This means that some creatures will ignore you, even if they are ordered to attack you. To do this, give your Volaticotherium some Mejoberry and crouch. 4) If you heal your Volaticotherium, it will naturally heal you with its breath. Ground Abilities The Volaticotherium has abilities related to its breath and terrestrial intelligence that are completely different from its abilities when it is on your shoulder. 1) The Volaticotherium can sort your chest. Imagine there are 25 logs in one trunk and 50 in another. The Volaticotherium will automatically sort them, giving you 75 in one trunk and 0 in the other. 2) The explosion of the Volaticotherium can cause enemy electronic structures to malfunction and increase the power of allied electronic structures. For enemy turrets, the Volaticotherium will have camouflage shielding against turrets only in PVP game mode. The electrical disruption effect lasts for 2 minutes. 3) The Volaticotherium can also make a sleeping creature invisible. All creatures in the game will ignore the sleeping dinosaur and the Volaticotherium. To do this, the Volaticotherium creates a zone. For this to work, the Volaticotherium must be on the ground near a sleeping creature and have plenty of Mejoberry. Level 1 Statistics - Health: 50 - Stamina: 100 - Oxygen: 150 - Food: 200 - Weight: 35 - Damage: 120 - Speed: same as a thylacoleo To tame a Volaticotherium, you must be accompanied by a small dinosaur, such as a dodo or an otter. If the Volaticotherium sees you with a small creature, it will not run away and will become friends with yours. As long as the Volaticotherium befriends your dinosaur, many dilophosaurs will try to kill it, and you will have to protect it. If a Dilo touches it, the taming effectiveness decreases. Depending on the level of the Volaticotherium, you will need a certain number of creatures, the maximum being 4. 3 : Behavior and Location The Volaticotherium will flee as soon as it sees you. It will not have baby volaticotheriums in the wild. If there is a corpse, they will come to eat it. They are found in mountain or snow forests. They can fly very fast like maewings. Their size is that of a compy, and their width is that of a trilobite.
