  1. Hello everyone As the extinction creature vote is active, I have started working on a creature submission for genesis part 1. I am currently making the dossier but i need some artwork and I'm not much of an artist. The creature I'm working on is called the giant ammonite. No leaks for now but I will submit it in creature submissions when the ark genesis vote comes out. Anyone who helps with artwork will be given credit in the official creature submission and will be a true lifesaver. I need a sketch of an ammonite moving fast using its propulsion kind of like the alternative sketches we see on many ark dossiers in black and white. I also need an ammonite wearing a saddle. Finally, I a sketch of an ammonite ramming into another creature. Thanks to anyone who submits.
  2. Hello beach bobs The creature votes are competitive to say the least and it makes sense that collaborating to have the best shot of getting creatures into the game is important. I'm creative and can come up with concepts easily, however my art skills and things to create actually professional art works for said creatures are sub par to say the very least (atleast compared to the frankly amazing art in the top submissions).😅 So if anyone would like to reach out to collaborate on some new submissions for the upcoming votes it'd be appreciated. I can make concepts, draw and rephrase grammar to the best of my ability, ik it's not the best resume but it's something. Please note however I cannot offer pay and credit will be split evenly among collaborators with everyone's ideas will be taken into account, however ideas may be overruled. So if this seems interesting to you I'd happy ad anyone to the creature tribe.
  3. introducing.... Lambeosaurus Lambei Simple Description: Lambeosaurus would be one very few of the apexes of the herbivores, with strength that matches its size. Lambeosaurus' defining ability would be a drawn-out loud roar that stretches on for as long as you're holding the specific button down. It drains stamina and eventually oxygen (when stam runs out, don't use it for too long!) The ability would be like a turret with no bullets. It would also have a stomp attack, which would be its most powerful. It would have a bite/chomp attack too. Lambeosaurus heals faster when near its own species (wild + tamed) but heal slightly slower when near enemy carnivores. In the wild it attacks all carnivores on sight (maybe even gigas?!) and naturally herds towards other plant eaters. It would be slower than a rex when running, but a little faster than one when swimming. Common Name: Lambeosaurus Species: Lambeosaurus Lambei Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Defensive Wild: Discovering Lambeosaurus Lambei was a truly beautiful and breath-taking sight; and one you can survive as long as you don't hurt it or get too close! This gigantic hadrosaur is even able to rival Tyrannosaurus with its devastating strength and abilities. One of Lambeosaurus' many defenses against carnivores is using its booming voice, letting out a lengthy and deadly battle-cry that is able to make even the steeliest of minds tremble. It can reach high frequencies that can permanently damage and even deafen the creatures around it, and it is heavily suggested that you wear ear protection near any sort of Lambeosaurus or simply stay far enough away from it. Lambeosaurus also is unique in regards to its behavior. The creature naturally gravitates towards other herbivores, either its fellow Lambeosaurus' or other plant eating species, and even heals faster when it is resting near its own kind. Observing Lambeosaurus behavior and interactions with carnivores is another story entirely. Lambeosaurus is quite the opposite with meat eating creatures, and attacks them on sight out of what I can only assume is to be pure unnecessary hatred. Domesticated Taming a Lambeosaurus is more a test of your patience if anything. After watching many failed attempts and a few from myself, I have concluded that you should never bring a carnivorous mount to the creature. It is best to relocate or erase carnivores nearby entirely. I have also discovered that tranquilizers and narcotics are ineffective on this beast during the taming process, perhaps from the adrenaline boost it gets when in battle. The use of Lambeosaurus has been entirely for battles to the death, able to stand against Tyrannosaurus and other large apex predators with mighty ease, and due to this Lambeosaurus is an incredibly worthy and fearless addition to have in your tribe. Attacks: Stomp: Right Click (PC), Right Toggle (Xbox) Booming Roar: C (PC), Right Button (Xbox) Bite: Left Click (PC), Left Toggle (Xbox) Abilities Analysis: Shattering Stomp: An attack that deals the largest amount of damage, it sends raptor-sized creatures flying, and gives rex-sized creatures slight knockback. It shatters the ground and creatures a large dust cloud, blinding creatures caught in it. Booming Roar: An attack that damages all creatures (excluding tamed creatures or humans wearing ear protection like ear muffs) in a large radius, acting as a turret. If exposed to this ability for too long, players will start experiencing muffled noises and a blurry screen. This ability uses up stamina, and afterwards drains oxygen once stamina is gone. The roar will noticeably shift and become more hoarse if oxygen is starting to be used. The booming roar ability also encourages its allies nearby, though not as well as a Yutyrannus. Draining Bite: An attack that deals the least amount of damage, being a simple chomp attack. It also inflicts a small amount of torpor. Stronger Together: A passive healing ability that initates when near other Lambeosaurus', both wild and tamed. Weary: A passive decrease in how fast the Lambeosaurus will heal. This happens when its near 3 or more enemy carnivores. Although this can be countered by the Stronger Together ability with another Lambeosaurus present. How To Tame: To tame a Lambeosaurus is a unique feat. You must encounter the Lambeosaurus on a herbivore only, as if will attack your carnivore mount if you try to tame it. The Lambeosaurus will let out a loud bellow, and it will initiate a brawl. You must last for as long as possible and get the Lambeosaurus down to 30% health. Once it reaches that point, the Lambeosaurus will bow, and get closer to its herd (if there are any other Lambeosaurus') and rest. Once asleep, you must defend the Lambeosaurus until it wakes. During this time, predators will be attracted to the Lambeosaurus and try to attack it. Defend it until it wakes, and you will have successfully tamed a Lambeosaurus! Stats Analysis: A Lambeosaurus would be incrediblg beefy in health and have decent stamina, although that is what you would want to upgrade the most. It has a poor amount of Oxygen. It does decent/pretty good damage. Utilities: PvP: For PvP, it would be a pure battle mount and or possible boss dino. Due to its booming roar ability, it would act as a sort of turret with a large radius. It would be a truly devastating force of nature to encounter on the battle field; enemies beware! PvE: For PvE, it would be more a defensive creature/possible travel mount. It can scale many rocks and cliffs with ease, and can get you to point A and point B in a guaranteed safe manner. It could also be used as a gatherer Gathering: It would be a decent berry gatherer, and can gather thatch in large quantities. With its shattering stomp, it could crush rocks and gather flint. Saddle: For the design, it was mostly inspired off of the Parasaurs saddle. It would also have a customizable flag for your tribe! Colors: Regions up until 2 would consist of darker, duller coloes, such as browns, grays, whites, blacks, etc. 3+ regions would be mucher brighter colors!
  4. Temperment: Docile Diet: Herbivorus Location: The centers floating island and subsequent ocean underneath Size: Slightly smaller than a sarco length wise but flater to the ground Encountering: The atopodentatus is a semi aquatic docile creature that posses a tight pack structure. Even though the phrase "Strength in numbers" is one of the best known out there, yet for this creature, is not the case. When attacked the atopodentatus trys to make a get away to the nearest water source if on land, and if in water, they swim away at a speed that is more than impressive especially for there size. When in water, these creatures become one of the fastest options out there to a survivor wishing to tame the ever aggressive seas the ark world provide. However, when on land, these creatures speed is comparable to that of an ankylosaur. So when they DO breach the surface and arrive on the shores of the center pit, it's typically for sunbathing, one of this species favorite hobby. Taming: While taming this creature, one must keep in mind its sunbathing habit. When the atopodentatus lays out in the sun, survivors can approach them and rub cementing paste on them, this acts as a natural sunscreen for them which can win them over after enough is applied. (Roughly 20-30 cementing paste is used at a time so bring alot) Tamed: When tamed these remarkable speedsters provide some of the best underwater traversal possible, possessing no oxygen star and not rising to the surface when dismounted. However thats not all they're used for, when set on wander underwater, these creatures use their paddle like snout to dig up remarkably rare resources from the sea bed. Abilities: primary attack, a simple bite that can be used while moving. Secondary attack, an underwater "lunge" that can be used for an additional burst of speed that's good for gaining momentum. Third attack, a manual resource shoveling dig that can be used when touching the ground, this however can only dig up certain resources dependant on the area. Diggable resources: Element shards, oil, cementing paste, polymer, scillica pearls, and black pearls (The quantity of these is small and each has a given Rarity for each time they dig for resources) Misc: Their saddle is unlocked at 34 Their breedable and clonable Their stats are better than an icthyasaurus but not by much
  5. SPECIES: Thylacinus cynocephalus SIZE: Length 5-6.2 ft.; 2 ft. tall at shoulder; Weight up to 77 lbs. BODY PARTS: Wide jaws with strong teeth, striped back HABITAT: Tasmania, an island off southern Australia PREY: Kangaroos, wallabies, sheep WHEN? Species dates back to 23 million years ago; became extinct in mid-1930s Killing at night with a bone- crushing bite, the Tasmanian wolf decimated sheep herds and struck fear and outrage into sheep farmers. Superstitions even arose that this wolf craved blood like a vampire. The animal was eventually hunted to an early extinction. BIG MOUTH: The wolf could open its jaws enormously wide, at an angle of over 160°, much wider than a normal wolf. The animal's powerful jaw muscles helped it smash through the bones of its victims. INVISIBLE STALKER: Dark stripes, numbering nine to thirteen, started at the middle of the back and ran down its body along the tail. They provided camouflage as the wolf watched for prey from the shadows. When the Tasmanian wolf was first spotted, no one knew exactly what it was. Some called it a tiger, some a wolf and others a zebra wolf. Most agreed it was a bloodthirsty killer, and people shot, poisoned and trapped the animal until there were no more left. The last known Tasmanian wolf died at Hobart Zoo in Australia on Sept. 7, 1936. MOOD SWING: The wolf's 2-foot-long tail was stiff and thick at the base. The animal could sit back on it like a kangaroo. Unlike dogs, this animal didn't wag its tail to show its mood. CLOSE KIN: Despite its name, the Tasmanian wolf is much more closely related to a kangaroo than a wolf. Like many animals from the Australian area, it was a member of the marsupial group of mammals. RACK OF LAMB: With jaws open wide, the Tasmanian wolf could grab onto prey, such as sheep or a kangaroo, with a death-grip in one bite. Sometimes it simply bit into its victim's throat. Other times it would take an animal's entire head in its jaws, exerting tremendous pressure to crush the skull for an instant kill. The Tasmanian wolf devoured its prey straight away while the carcass was still fresh. It tore off meat until its belly was full. DID YOU KNOW? Early settlers thought that the Tasmanian wolf could hop on its hind legs like a kangaroo. Mechanics: Harvesting: With its powerful jaws it can harvest a lot of mutton and keratin from herbivores but not chitin from bugs. Note Finding: When having one following you it will tell you if an explorer note is nearby. Taming: To tame one you need to separate one from its pack and once its calm and collected you can lure one in with mutton chops and once fed it will retreat and you must follow it until is stops and lays down. once calm you must appear not threatening by removing and heavy armor not having any weapons in your inventory or creatures with you then feed it once again and comfort it. if it deems you a threat it will attack and kill you. Steps: It will ask for comfort food Request a pet or Ask to play fetch (Boomerang required) Pack Abilities: When in a pack it can generate an effect that staves off small predators like spiders, bats and Titanoboas. like a deinonychus a single wolf can latch onto a creature and drain its blood and if in a pack it can cause serious damage, but it wont work on bigger creatures but it will slow them down. Tek Harness: Being an aberrant creature on the station it possesses a connection to charge and with the construction of a Tek harness it can focus the charge like a charge lantern so you don't have to use one or put on down to stave off the nameless and you can have them walk around while you gather resources. it even has a turret mode. Over all i think this creature might be fun. we can always use more adorable little killers in survival games lol.
  6. I didn't really like the design in the video, I prefer the ones in the image and I believe the players do too... Image credit: Chung-Tat Cheung, Min Wang (MY FAVORITE DESIGN) More images: A newly discovered species of dinosaur in the family of Scansoriopterygidae. This tiny creature had wings like a bat: leathery, but not feathery. Size: Only 33 inches long (Cm) Life: lived 163 million years ago, right in the middle of the Jurassic, in present-day Liaoning Province, China. Despite looking like Archeopteryx, this creature was just discovered and has wings similar to a bat. luminous creature https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambopteryx Unlike most other non-avian theropods, it had a short tail without a transition point and ended in a pygostyle, a set of fused tail vertebrae. What would change in the ark: When released by pressing a specific key, he can fly and serve as an observer, spotting several animals to a certain airline, informing his level, differentiating males and females and even other survivors that approach his master. When released, he cannot take damage in the air and will have a specific amount of time before returning. If the survivor dies, he will be marked on the map and will go to the survivor when he approaches again. Despite looking like a simple creature, it fits well with the aberration because its tails are luminous and because it is similar to a bat it can get you out of many problems in caves. In addition, he can scream into the survivor's shoulder, scaring away several nearby creatures as the sound emitted by him is irritating to the ear of predators. Wildcard attention: (Things I would love to have on the ASA) I- you can also get wyvern milk by breeding wyverns; II- Some type of food that attracts the beavers to another location because the natural cement "farm" is constant in the game and the beavers are boring; III- poison, both to put in traps and to poison animals by arrow... Putting foods that attract creatures and poison cave creatures would be great for cleaning caves. Edit: I- This creature can still warn if the animal is wild or from a survivor when flying. II- serves to glide too, similar to a wingsuit III- omnivorous IV- sinomacrops has a similar scream, but I would like Ambopteryx, in addition to scaring away small creatures, to scare away all cave creatures as it would save you from many problems. It's not his size that scares other beings away, like the scream of a rex... It's the frequency of his scream that would be irritating to the ear of predators (that the frequency does not annoy the players, right wildcar...) V- some details on it are also bright, in addition to the syrup VI- DETECTS all tamed animals nearby (long range) - for when you die and lose your tamed dino (happens a lot in ark) VII- When it dies, Ambopteryx feathers can be used to create an indigenous headdress that doubles the taming speed when worn. Ex: 50 arrows take down a dino, with the headdress it would take 25 arrows... The headdress also serves as camouflage along with the camouflage clothing submit your ideas here to improve this creature. I will read ALL A hug from Brazil
  7. Are you tired that you can’t find a powerful herbivore creature to beat Rockwell or fight any tribe? Hello survivors, today I present you my creature for Aberration, THE JAKAPIL KANIUKURA WILD The Jakapil can usually be found in the forests or near the rivers, this creature lives together with other herbivore creatures, if the Jakapil sees a creature is attacked it will go to defend it very fast, however, you should not trust yourself because if you attack the Jakapil he will attack you without thinking, causing him to enter a state of fury, tripling its damage TAME METHOD The tame of the Jakapil is based on rounds, in the first round you will need to feed the Jakapil with the food it wants like mejoberries, carrots, lemon, etc. In the second round you will need to do the moves the Jakapil wants, example: if in the screen appears to go to the left you need to go to the left, if the Jakapil is of high level the movements will be fast but if it is of low level the movements will be slow TAMED When the Jakapil is tamed it has many abilities, first the Jakapil can do a little bite that can hurt the enemy, the second ability is a stomp, when you make 5 stomps in a row you can stun any creature you are fighting, but if you receive damage you will need to make another row, the third ability is a little push that pushes creatures away, letting you to escape or fight back, the fourth ability is a roar called “inspiration” that heals nearby creatures like the Daeodon, and also boosts the damage and resistance to it by 7% like the Yutyrannus, the fifth ability is the rage mode that triples the damage when the Jakapil has a quarter of life, and the las ability is called scale change, it changes the scales of the Jakapil like the Stego and reduces the damage received in a 10% but the Jakapil moves slower like the Fenrir SPECIAL ABILITY The special ability of the Jakapil is a light that illuminates a nearby area, you must place a green, blue, or red gem on the mount, each gem has a different effect, green light increases the resistance to projectiles of nearby creatures, blue light increases the speed of creatures nearby by 5 percent and reduces the speed of enemy creatures by 5 percent, and the red light increases the damage of only creatures with less than half health by 10 percent. This creature is also inmune to the radiation ☢️ WHAT UTILITIES CAN I GIVE THE JAKAPIL? You can give the Jakapil many uses, you can use it to fight other tribes, to make bossfights, to explore the depths of ABERRATION, to heal your creatures, make caves, etc, the unique limit is your creativity! But you can also create an armor! THE JAKAPIL ARMOR The Jakapil will passively make scales in its inventory, with this scales you can craft the Jakapil armor, this armor will help you reducing the blooding effect in a 15 percent, and you can also block with your gauntlets like a shield 🛡
  8. An adult snakefly resembles a lacewing in appearance but has a notably elongated thoraxwhich, together with the mobile head, gives the group their common name. The body is long and slender and the two pairs of long, membranous wings are prominently veined. Females have a large and sturdy ovipositorwhich is used to deposit eggs in some concealed location. They are holometabolousinsects with a four-stage life cycle consisting of eggs, larvae, pupae and adults. (Scaled up in Size to be as tall as two large survivors) Main Uses - - it may be broad or taper at the back, but is very mobile, allowing for it to carry your survivor at high speeds through the air nimbly! -The mouthparts are strong and relatively unspecialised, being modified for biting giving it the ability to pick up fellow tribe members, enemies and small to medium sized dinosaurs in its mandibles. -It has a large pair of compound eyes on the sides of its head giving it incredible vision in all harsh weather conditions & at night & a tracking ability you can use to track dinosaurs similar to a snow owls that allows you to search for a specific creature (i.e Only rexes will show up in night vision when selected) that can be turned on and whenever you have its preferred food in its inventory. The females typically have a long ovipositor, which they use to deposit their eggs into crevices or under bark, this is where the taming comes in to play! The eggs will have to be found in a nest similar to a wyvern or magmasaur and taking one will cause a swarm of Raphidioptera to aggro you but be careful because the females have a venom they can spit that will dismount you and slow you down if hit by it!
  9. Hello I would like to suggest the Jeholopterus as a secondary winged back tame similar to the Sinomacrops for players to tame within the caves of any map. It will tame the same way as the Sinomacrops, but will be viable for map Ragnarok, but this could also be expanded to the other maps once we get Ark Survival Ascended. I see this as an option for players to tame on all maps, with the same type of scare tactic as the Sinomacrops. This Creature was found in Eastern China, and was a heavy insectivore so it would benefit to be on Ragnarok and would be found within the caves, but this creature can be rarely spotted flying around the beaches at dusk or dawn. Jeholopterus.jfif Edit: Now after doing a little bit of research there could also be the option for the Jeholopterus to be tamed with raw fish, and raw prime fish as well as the Chitin.
  10. Introduction: ARK: Survival Evolved is a popular open-world survival game that allows players to explore a vast prehistoric landscape filled with a variety of fascinating creatures. The game offers players an immersive experience, presenting them with the opportunity to interact with and tame a diverse range of animals. However, one notable absence from the current roster of creatures is the Sheepshead fish. In this essay, we will discuss why the Sheepshead fish deserves a place in ARK: Survival Evolved and how its inclusion would enhance the game's overall experience. Ecological Diversity: ARK: Survival Evolved prides itself on showcasing a rich ecosystem that mirrors the prehistoric world. Introducing the Sheepshead fish to the game would contribute to this goal by increasing the diversity of marine life. The Sheepshead fish, also known as Archosargus probatocephalus, is a saltwater species found along the coastlines of North America. Its unique appearance and distinct behavior would provide players with a fresh and engaging underwater experience. Realism and Educational Value: Adding the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved aligns with the game's commitment to realism. The inclusion of this species would help educate players about the marine life that existed during prehistoric times. By accurately modeling its appearance, behavior, and habitat, players would have the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating creature. This educational aspect adds depth to the game and can spark curiosity and interest in real-world biology and paleontology. Gameplay Mechanics: The Sheepshead fish possesses several attributes that would make it an interesting addition to the gameplay mechanics of ARK: Survival Evolved. For instance: 3.1. Unique Feeding Mechanism: The Sheepshead fish is known for its distinctive set of teeth, which resemble human molars. These teeth are specifically adapted to crush and grind shellfish, crustaceans, and other hard-bodied prey. Implementing this feeding behavior could introduce a new mechanic to the game, where players would need to find and consume shellfish in order to satisfy the dietary needs of tamed Sheepshead fish. 3.2. Underwater Interaction: ARK: Survival Evolved already offers a diverse range of aquatic creatures, and the Sheepshead fish would further enhance the underwater gameplay. Players could swim alongside these fish, feed them, and even ride them, opening up new possibilities for exploration and transportation in the game's vast oceanic environments. Aesthetics and Customization: The Sheepshead fish possesses a unique appearance that would add visual appeal and aesthetic variety to the game. Its silver-gray body, prominent black stripes, and distinct facial features would make it a visually stunning addition to the existing roster of creatures. Additionally, the game could incorporate a range of color variations, allowing players to customize their tamed Sheepshead fish to suit their preferences. Cultural Significance: The Sheepshead fish holds cultural significance in various coastal communities. It is a popular game fish sought after by anglers, and its inclusion in ARK: Survival Evolved would resonate with players who have a personal connection to this species. Such cultural representation can foster a sense of inclusivity and appeal to a wider audience. Conclusion: The addition of the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved would enhance the game's ecological diversity, provide educational value, introduce new gameplay mechanics, and offer aesthetic customization options. Furthermore, it would contribute to the game's commitment to realism and align with its goal of recreating a prehistoric world filled with diverse and fascinating creatures. By acknowledging the importance of the Sheepshead fish and including it in the game, ARK: Survival Evolved would create a more immersive and engaging experience for players worldwide.
  11. I originally submitted this one for the fjordur poll so the dossier is not fully updated but I will just change the text it for the current submission poll, but here he is again. Epedexipteryx Cincinnofur, the display feathered lock theif! Dossier: Name: Epidexipteryx Species: Epidexipteryx Cincinnofur Time: Late Jurassic Diet: Insectivore Temperment: Skittish Wild Epidexipteryx Cincinnofur is a rather bizzare creature...It looks like someone crossed an ayeaye lemur, a lizard, and a bird after a long night of drinking! Sticking mostly to the trees of the Island, this little insectivore behaves very similarly to the archaeopteryx. It lives in trees, eats exclusively bugs, and is a rather timid creature, preferrring to flee before confrontation than fight. It uses its teeth to scrape through the bark of the trees it calls home, then uses that abnormally long third finger to snag juicy bug larvae! Professional side note: Gross! Domesticated: The habits of epidexipteryx cincinnofur are what earned it the name I have given it. Its name roughly translates to "Display-feathered lock theif". That being said, I have learned that this little critter is intelligent enough to learn how to pick simple locks! It can also use those front-facing teeth to scrape away tree bark to get at the sticky sap within, but it can also gnaw at the outer exterior of bee hives to get at the delicious honey inside, without alerting the bees! It also sports a coat of downy feathers to maintain heat during the colder nights on the Island, making it an ideal neckwarmer that doubles as a lockpick! This creature's skittish nature also aids its owner in its own way. When frightened by a nearby predator, the epidexipteryx emits a shrill screech that warns of any threats in the vicinity! So there is the updated dossier text! I added the sap and honey collection to make it have some use to PvE demographics, as well as keeping the PvP aspect of picking locks up to large storage boxes as long as the epidexipteryx has enough points put into a specific lockpicking stat, similar to the Gacha's crafting skill or the therizinosaurus's harvesting abilities. It can pick doors from the outside unlike the monkey, and even open small and large storage boxes that are left unattended if they are trained in that stat. It'll also be an easier alternative to the direbear's honey collection. For example, it won't get as much honey, but it'll be an easier tame. It can also act as a natural sap tap. It will also insulate you like the otter or ferox and warn you of danger like a shoulder mounted parasaur! I imagine it would have stats similar to the archa or microraptor (minus the speed) as to not be too overpowered, It could also be tamed similarlyto the sinomacrops or have a new taming method entirely. My idea is to maybe criuch up to it and interact with it, similarly to the astrodelphis, then have it follow you around to kill insects like meganeura or titanomyrma to tame it, similar to amargasaurus. So this unique method would be crouching up to it, interact, gain its trust, then give it an opportunity to hunt insects. Below are some images to give an idea of what it looks like. A still image from a documentary series, and the handmade dossier I originally made for Fjordur! I hope you all enjoy my submission enough to give it a vote! For further info on epidexipteryx, here is a link to its wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epidexipteryx
  12. As the title suggests, plateosaurus is one of the earliest ancestors of sauropods. We have Brontosaurus, Diplodocus, Amargasaurus, and Titanosaurus, but those are all true sauropods. My idea of plateosaurus will be the predecessor to these tames, able to be tamed much earlier than the rest of the long-necked herbivores, but still holding a unique feel in its environment. Name: Plateosaurus Species: Plateosaurus Lentumcaptionem Time: Late Triassic Temperment: Tempermental WIld: Plateosaurus Lentumcaptionem is a tempermentle herbivore from the Islands plains and forests. Much smaller than a diplodocus, this species is actually a prosauropod, meaning it is actually a predecessor to every sauropod species on the island! That being said, it still has its dangers. Like most other sauropods, or just decently sized herbivores in general, plateosaurus will put up a fight if aggressed upon. However, this mostly applies to the territorial males, who will pit themselves against anything that seemingly threatens the herd. Domesticated: Most survivors on the Island have taken to calling the plateosaurus the "Poor Man's Bronto", since it is fairly decent at harvesting berries, fibers, and thatch with its tail or sharp foreclaws. It can even use those claws to harvest sap from certain trees! Plateosaurus absolutely love sap and will happily lap it up from your hand for a tasty treat. What plateosaurus can do with that sap is what earned it its name. When threatened, it will mix the sap with its own saliva and simply spit it at aggressors, sticking them in place in a glue-like trap. Many clever survivors find this ability invaluable when chasing down fast moving targets as this "sap trap" will cause most small creatures to be happlessly stuck in place allowing for the hunt to come to a swift end. Should a creature be too big or simply too aggressive to be caught in the sap trap, plateosaurus will rally its herd and rear up on their hindlegs slashing away at threats with its sharp claws. All around, the plateosaurus is a good defender, a good steed, and a good mount for harvesting resources. Poor Man's Bronto is right! Other notes: Plateosaurus will have the morellatops's herd mentality. Meaning if it is alone it will flee, but in a group will fight. Taming will be a simple tranq and feed wuth berries or crops. Nothing fancy. Similarly to the dinopithecus's poop throw, the plateosaurus can just collect sap from trees and spit it out as a less costly, and easily replenished bola. Plateosaurus is a herd animal, so maybe it will be the first herbivore with a pack buff! Abilities: Harvesting mount - Plateosaurus may be distantly related to sauropods, but it still had some sharp claws due to it being one of the earliest dinosaurs, being from the Triassic period along with ceolophysis and postosuchus. So why not put those claws to use? Utilize them to harvest berries and fiber from bushes, thatch from trees, or even sap from trees as well. Combat mount - Speaking of claws, the plateosaurus would be able to utilize these claws to inflict greivous wounds on those under prepared. Since it is a prosauropod, it could also have the ability to swtich stances like the Iguanodon and Spinosaurus, allowing for faster mobility on all fours, while having higher combat prowess on two legs. It could also do a hefty tail swing that could knockback or stun players or small creatures. Sap Bola trap - Utilizing the plateosaurus's sap collection will allow players to spit this sap at targets and stick them in place. Maybe it could be like a small puddle like the oil jar and if you're within the blast radius you'll be caught. Herd mentailty - Plateosaurus will congregate in herds of up to 5 or so, and will be buffed based on the pack. Similar to direwolves or compies, but with a stegosaurus-sized herbivore instead! This means however, if the plateosaurus is alone, it could decide to just leave and save its own hide rather than fight. So there you have it! Plateosaurus, the sticky sap bola! ARK's first prosauropod!
  13. The manbawakale is a large prehistoric crocodile related to modern day crocodiles and 5 meters long or 16 feet and would be a large terrestrial carnivore and would hunt on land Wild- The manbawakale is a docile and passive carnivore that can be walked up to and not attacked unless provoked and found near ponds and lakes Taming- The way to tame the manbawakale is by putting raw meat in your last inventory slot and walking up and feeding it, and waiting for it to be hungry again, it prefers rare prime meat than normal raw meat Abilities- It has a bleed like attack and claw attack, other abilities like a ripping bite that can get meat from living dinosaurs and has a good raw prime meat gather eith this ability and can gather it from large animals like mammoths and brontosaurs and rex, it has the speed of that compared to the megalania and has a strong armour buff if near an allie manbawakale, it can be ridden with a saddle earned at level 46 Possible Saddle recipe 200 fiber, 30 chitin, 25 iron, 350 hide
  14. a large, agile, fast and fearsome theropod that predated the much bigger tyrannosaurs of the later Cretaceous period.neovenator was approximately 25 feet long and weighing a half ton.
  15. The Hyneria, the big predator of rivers and lakes, can take smallest creatures like raptors or mochops in his mouth, in real life around 6m, he ca be a great rival to the mastodonsaurus, koolasuchus or hynerpeton like in bbc documentary, if no add any new amphibian can be likwe the megalodon but in the rivers, like in bbc documental, can go out of thw water to hunt, like a orca. Here a pick of hyneria of ark mod preshistoric beasts:
