The baby Argentavis in the trailer come to mind for this suggestion. Docuseries showing the imagined lives of ancient creatures, pteradons taking their frist risky flights from their clifftop nests. This isn't a new suggestion, but a rather proposed method of implementation. Instead of spawning the parent and randomly spawning babies for the flyers, instead randomly spawn nests in preset locations. Kind of like Beaver dams. Then have the "parent(s)" spawn and be set to either remain near the nest or periodically return to the nest. The nest can have an inventory of nesting materials and keratin (suggesting perhaps broken eggs or a non-surviving brood). The nest can randomly have eggs that can be stolen or babies that are nest-bound unless tamed (which would otherwise work like the other wild babies ingame). The nests would be challenging to get to, atop cliffs and giant trees amd mountains. Maybe hidden away in seaside caves or little nooks. It would be a fun little side hunt, and just a bit more atmosphere. I'm not experienced on all the coding in this game. I don't know if the wild parents and babies could be setup with a unique class to give the custom AI for this, and then they would tame to the normal tamed class versions. That is what I'm imagining with this suggestion though...

Dynamic Environment Effects Attaching to You/Dinos (Moss, Mud, Snow, Ash, Sand)
Kaho posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
Granting that buildings now in ARK Survival Ascended has a Snowy Effect when building at the Snowy Biome, I'm thinking why not also apply it on humans and creatures (can be optionally turned on & off in the settings). It may look simple but the visual cue of the environment aside from the ambience can further add to the immersion. Dynamic Environmental Effects such as Mud, Moss, Snow, Rain, Ash, Sand, Radiation, Corruption, Poison Please look at the examples below:- 1 reply

Instead of having the one dragon boss, there will be multiple, rare tameable dragons, along with the dragon king as the boss, the tameable ones will be able to be fitted with either a regular saddle, or a Tek one, the Tek saddle will have a turret on each side, and the space to walk around a bit inside, being completely protected.

PROTOSTEGA - IS A NEW BEAUTIFUL AQUATIC DAEODON
Nik83 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
WILD Protostega is one of the most interesting and mysterious animals of hostile Aberration. These turtles inhabit the entire water area of the Bio-Luminescent Chamber, spending most of their day hunting cnidarias. They will not attack the survivors unless they themselves are not touched. The speed of the protostega is quite high in the water but very slow on land, so the fight with it is not difficult. Hunting for protostega is necessary only for the extraction of a unique resource - a shell fragment, and so this turtle does not represent any nutritional value THE METHOD OF TAMING Prostostegs have poor eyesight and in the wild they mostly rely on light coming from the creatures themselves or the environment. That's why, survivor, you need to prepare the setting for a candlelit dinner. Be sure not to forget to cook a Blue Kambucha - the only treat for this turtle, which consists of Biotoxin, Rare Flowers, Aquatic and Ascerbic Mushrooms (made in Cooking Pot). Despite the fact that this drink is toxic to survivors and causes an effect comparable to the spores of poisonous flowers - protostegs love it and willingly take it directly from their hands DOMESTICATED These turtles have a pretty decent supply of health, which gives them an advantage during combat. Protostegs are also a real danger for alien karkinos, get it for yourself and you will get a supply of Organic Polymer for life. And if your dinosaurs are tired of fighting and they need recharging, then protostega can be an excellent replacement for daeodon - the main thing is not to forget to make enough Blue Kambucha. BREEDING Breeding these turtles is not easy. Since these are residents of one of the most inaccessible regions, they mate only at low temperatures around -30 °. Then the procedure is standard - you just need to hatch an egg and monitor the fulfillment of their desires- 4 replies

Raphidioptera : AKA “The prehistoric Snakefly” (New Dino Idea :)
Diltzy posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions Archive
An adult snakefly resembles a lacewing in appearance but has a notably elongated thoraxwhich, together with the mobile head, gives the group their common name. The body is long and slender and the two pairs of long, membranous wings are prominently veined. Females have a large and sturdy ovipositorwhich is used to deposit eggs in some concealed location. They are holometabolousinsects with a four-stage life cycle consisting of eggs, larvae, pupae and adults. (Scaled up in Size to be as tall as two large survivors) Main Uses - - it may be broad or taper at the back, but is very mobile, allowing for it to carry your survivor at high speeds through the air nimbly! -The mouthparts are strong and relatively unspecialised, being modified for biting giving it the ability to pick up fellow tribe members, enemies and small to medium sized dinosaurs in its mandibles. -It has a large pair of compound eyes on the sides of its head giving it incredible vision in all harsh weather conditions & at night & a tracking ability you can use to track dinosaurs similar to a snow owls that allows you to search for a specific creature (i.e Only rexes will show up in night vision when selected) that can be turned on and whenever you have its preferred food in its inventory. The females typically have a long ovipositor, which they use to deposit their eggs into crevices or under bark, this is where the taming comes in to play! The eggs will have to be found in a nest similar to a wyvern or magmasaur and taking one will cause a swarm of Raphidioptera to aggro you but be careful because the females have a venom they can spit that will dismount you and slow you down if hit by it!-

Introduction: ARK: Survival Evolved is a popular open-world survival game that allows players to explore a vast prehistoric landscape filled with a variety of fascinating creatures. The game offers players an immersive experience, presenting them with the opportunity to interact with and tame a diverse range of animals. However, one notable absence from the current roster of creatures is the Sheepshead fish. In this essay, we will discuss why the Sheepshead fish deserves a place in ARK: Survival Evolved and how its inclusion would enhance the game's overall experience. Ecological Diversity: ARK: Survival Evolved prides itself on showcasing a rich ecosystem that mirrors the prehistoric world. Introducing the Sheepshead fish to the game would contribute to this goal by increasing the diversity of marine life. The Sheepshead fish, also known as Archosargus probatocephalus, is a saltwater species found along the coastlines of North America. Its unique appearance and distinct behavior would provide players with a fresh and engaging underwater experience. Realism and Educational Value: Adding the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved aligns with the game's commitment to realism. The inclusion of this species would help educate players about the marine life that existed during prehistoric times. By accurately modeling its appearance, behavior, and habitat, players would have the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating creature. This educational aspect adds depth to the game and can spark curiosity and interest in real-world biology and paleontology. Gameplay Mechanics: The Sheepshead fish possesses several attributes that would make it an interesting addition to the gameplay mechanics of ARK: Survival Evolved. For instance: 3.1. Unique Feeding Mechanism: The Sheepshead fish is known for its distinctive set of teeth, which resemble human molars. These teeth are specifically adapted to crush and grind shellfish, crustaceans, and other hard-bodied prey. Implementing this feeding behavior could introduce a new mechanic to the game, where players would need to find and consume shellfish in order to satisfy the dietary needs of tamed Sheepshead fish. 3.2. Underwater Interaction: ARK: Survival Evolved already offers a diverse range of aquatic creatures, and the Sheepshead fish would further enhance the underwater gameplay. Players could swim alongside these fish, feed them, and even ride them, opening up new possibilities for exploration and transportation in the game's vast oceanic environments. Aesthetics and Customization: The Sheepshead fish possesses a unique appearance that would add visual appeal and aesthetic variety to the game. Its silver-gray body, prominent black stripes, and distinct facial features would make it a visually stunning addition to the existing roster of creatures. Additionally, the game could incorporate a range of color variations, allowing players to customize their tamed Sheepshead fish to suit their preferences. Cultural Significance: The Sheepshead fish holds cultural significance in various coastal communities. It is a popular game fish sought after by anglers, and its inclusion in ARK: Survival Evolved would resonate with players who have a personal connection to this species. Such cultural representation can foster a sense of inclusivity and appeal to a wider audience. Conclusion: The addition of the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved would enhance the game's ecological diversity, provide educational value, introduce new gameplay mechanics, and offer aesthetic customization options. Furthermore, it would contribute to the game's commitment to realism and align with its goal of recreating a prehistoric world filled with diverse and fascinating creatures. By acknowledging the importance of the Sheepshead fish and including it in the game, ARK: Survival Evolved would create a more immersive and engaging experience for players worldwide.
