  2. Introduction: Hello, survivors! I introduce you to the wyvern killer, Rajaissa! The Rajaissa is known for climbing the mountains and also being around the wyvern den, so it can hunt down the wyverns and other creatures that cross its path. Wild: The Rajaissa stays around the wyvern den so it can find some other creatures, or wyverns to kill that cross its path to fill its hunger. The wyverns like to challenge The Rajaissa for the king because they are both very territorial creatures. There is some sort of tension between the wyverns and the Rajaissa for some sort of reason, it may have to do with the history between them. It's a mystery with the Rajaissa, but they also kill the wyverns for fun and even go far enough to steal their eggs so they can fill their hunger. Abilities: The Rajaissa can use its sharp claws to climb mountains and make creatures bleed. It is also known for its wings that can go diverse and vertically. The Rajaissa can use echolocation at night to see in the dark and other creatures that may lurk in the dark. Taming Process: You can tame the Rajaissa by trapping it in a metal-like cage, and after you trap it in your cage you have to bring it wyvern eggs. Then when you place It down, it will smell the eggs and then devour them. There will be a trust meter that'll pop up and you have to make it full so you can ride it. Then when you ride the Rajaissa, you will have to go to the wyvern nest and kill the wyverns in the den till you get the taming bar to the max, and then you will have your very own Rajaissa.
  3. In case the frozen pools of Ragnarok didn’t already have enough reasons to be avoided as is, these strange Antarctic amphibians can now be encountered lurking below the surface. Dangerous ambush predators, Koolasuchus hunts by squirting streams of freezing water at their targets, slowing them, and inflicting hypothermia in survivors before retreating to their icy dens, content to wait until their prey succumbs to the environment. When tamed these large amphibians can be harnessed to cool their rider, protecting them from high temperatures while chilling enemies to the bone.
  4. Guanlong Wucaii is a species of dinosaur that lived at the end of the Jurassic period, approximately 156 million years ago, in Asia. Its name means "Crown Dragon" due to the crest on its head, This was one of the first species of Tyrannosaurus, unlike this one, it had three fingers on its front legs instead of the two already known from the rex. From its hind legs you can see that it was a fairly fast and agile predator. Before we talk about its abilities, I'd like to highlight a couple of basic things I'd like this creature to have: -Its base Health is similar to that of a Thyla -Low weight: it is a light and fast animal, it cannot carry so much weight. -His skills use a lot of energy -It has a moderate base attack, but makes up for it with a 5 second duration bleed, which doesn't stack, but does reset after each attack. -is one of the fastest creatures on the Ark WILD: The creature will appear in the wild in groups of 3, which, like Raptor or Deinonychus, will have an alpha which will be the highest level Guanlong. When Guanlong detects a player, two things can happen, first: If guanlong is not in the player's field of vision, it will imitate a random roar of the strongest creatures on the island such as Rex, Carcha or Giga, in the case of being in the player's field of vision, Guanlong will begin to attack the player directly. Domestication: To tame a Guanlong, you must avoid being detected by it, be it with a camouflage suit or a hot soup, then you must separate it from its group, either killing them or distracting them, having him far enough away from his group, you must feed him rotten meat, which will raise his unconsciousness until he sleeps, after that just feed it meat until it is tamed. Tamed: He has a pack roar, when using it he receives 15% speed and 25% attack, it lasts about 100 seconds, but has a 30 second cooldown. Guanlong can emit high and low frequency sounds, it can even imitate animal sounds, the latter can be used to intimidate or annoy survivors with terrifying roars, or to specifically attract large creatures, such as Carcharodontosaurus or Yutyrannus, which will target Guanlong and start chasing him, which is perfect for putting creatures into traps or making it possible for another player to shoot at it from another side. High and low frequency sounds can make a big difference in PVP or PVE, as they will stun large and small creatures for a short amount of time, depending on the animal that you want to stun, you must raise or lower the sound frequency, the bigger the animal, the less stun time it will have, for example, a Giga would be stunned for 2.5 to 3 seconds, a Titanosaur might be stunned for 2 seconds, a Raptor for 9 seconds and a Dodo for 15 seconds (although I don't know why you would attack a Dodo), obviously this ability will have a cooldown of 20-30 seconds. Guanlong can also buff his allies using his ability, giving them 30% more stamina for 12 seconds. but then you may wonder: What happens if we put many guanlongs in a row? During the cooling time a player could get off one, and get on another... but the solution I came up with is the following: if there are more than 3 Guanlongs in an area (I didn't think of a specific radius), and one uses its sound ability, the rest of the Guanlongs will be stunned for twice as long as the stunned enemy creature, if there are only 3 guanlongs in the area, and one is on cooldown, when you get on another and use its ability, it will stun the enemy for 25% less time, in addition to depleting three times the stamina of the Guanlong used. Here a dossier that I had done a while ago sorry for my bad english
  5. Hello survivors! I show you the concavenator Wild For how bizarre they appear in the wild, I'm surprised it's taken until now for me to see Concavenator Terrananti. Found in the sandy dunes of deserts, Concavenator seems to have adapted an incredible proficiency in digging through terrain, appearing so effortless that it's almost "swimming" through the ground. Found usually in groups of 2-3, Conca are very territorial, and VERY fast. Be wary when navigating the dunes, as it will be difficult to disengage a Conca once it has become aggravated. While in their digging state, Conca seems to be susceptible to explosives, causing them to emerge from the ground and leaving them vulnerable to tranqs. Domesticated Tamed, Concavenator excel at speed and navigating terrain. In combat, groups of Conca are quite effective at hit-and-run tactics, overwhelming enemies with their speed and quick attacks. Their long, fluff-tipped tails are also able to stir up clouds of sand, which can suffocate foes if they're not careful! „ Behavior The Concavenator never strays far from the dunes of Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis: Part 1, and Crystal Isles. The Concavenator can dig into and swim through the ground. The Concavenator also has a pack bonus and can stir up sand using its tail, which will inflict the Sandblasted debuff. it tends to employ a Hit and Run tactic when doing this. Appearance The Concavenator is a medium sized theropod that resembles a small Allosaurus only with a large fin and covered with downy Combat This section describes how to fight against the Concavenator. General When encountering the Concavenator, it usually dives beneath the ground and subsequently approaches the survivor at alarming speed. The Concavenator then proceeds to barrage the survivor with its attacks, lingering beneath the ground until it is forced out by explosives. Weaponry Ranged Weapons are highly recommended due to its Sand Clouds preventing direct melee attacks. As for Settlements Auto Turrets prove the most effective. Dangers It's Dust Cloud can potentially end a player and his/her mount, because it can drain certain stats of the creature and the player, like health, stamina, oxygen, as well as speed debuff and etc, but if the player SCUBA Armor, the Dust Cloud is ineffective towards the player, but the creature takes the damage. A Concavenator near a hoard of Tamed Dinos can severally injure or kill them due to it creating a line of Sand Clouds while the Dinos attempt to chase after it. Weakness Explosives like C4 Charges are able to knock the Concavenator out of the ground and out cold, you can either kill it while it is unconscious, or rather tame it instead. Any Creatures lacking a Oxygen Stat such as Kaprosuchus.png Kaprosuchus are presumably unaffected by the Dust CloTaming Method To tame a Concavenator, the survivor must knock it out of the ground using explosives, at which point it can be tranquilized through normal means. When forced out of the ground, Concavenator will receive some Torpidity, which may or may not knock it out. Although the Concavenator can be knocked out utilizing normal means, Torpidity using explosives is recommended, as the time the Concavenator spends out of the ground is minimal. Additionally, its Torpidity declines rapidly, making the use of tranquilizers more likely to damage, and possibly even kill the Concavenator. Explosives such as C4 Charges may prove optimal in knocking the Concavenator out, as one can place a bunch of them in one spot and subsequently detonate them. As the Concavenator nears its maximum Torpidity.png Torpidity, it is wise to detonate one C4 Charge at a time, avoiding the risk of damaging it as it falls unconscious. It is recommended to bring a fast creature like the Gallimimus or the Sabertooth, when at a distance from the creature chasing you, place a C4 Charge when being chased by a Concavenator at a distance, and make sure you don't make it lose it's aggro, or else it will stop chasing you and leave you alone, when the creature is 5-15 meters away from the C4 Charge, detonate it and the creature will be forced out of the ground and out cold. It is recommended tp use SCUBA Armor or Gas Mask, because the Concavenator will make Dust Clouds in the taming process, as said in the dangers section, and the dust clouds take away certain stats like, health, oxygen, as well as stamina and etc. Taming them on Aberration is very hard, as they often fall off cliffs into the liquid element, attack and subsequently get killed by Megalosaurus, spawn in proximity Reaper Queens or jump out of the ground, never to return again, rendering them untamable before the player has the chance to clear the area and set up C4 traps Oxygen Drainathers and shovel plating. i hope you like it!
  6. Stands up leaning on tail becoming immobile enabling it to have inferred vision, bone crunching effect due to its insane bite force (slows target), can drag dead bodies and has high stamina. Thylacines also gave off an odour if this was added to the game it could de-aggro small and medium creatures. Has ability like fjordor hawks to sense nearby dead creatures. They could live in highlands and in/ area around swamp castle as they lived in grasslands and wetlands. thylacine or Tasmanian tiger would hunt alone or with a partner so they would be found in solidarity if they were added to the game. As they are a marsupial they could have a pouch used to carry around babies similar to the protopactdon but for smaller creatures. As a solitary apex predator it would have to be a fairly powerful mount in order to be able to takedown their prey. Females would use their pouch to carry around their babies so a possible taming method could be knocking out the a female with a baby or Joey and then imprinting on it. Aggressive temperament to most creatures but timid to survivors. Appearance The Thylacine was sandy yellowish-brown to grey in colour and had 15 to 20 distinct dark stripes across the back from shoulders to tail. Although the large head was dog- or wolf-like, the tail was stiff and the legs were relatively short. Body hair was dense, short and soft, to 15mm in length. It had short ears (about 80 mm long) that were erect, rounded and covered with short fur. Jaws were large and powerful and there were 46 teeth. (the appearance part was from JurassicDino on a previous post) None of the pictures are my own I found them online. wiki link https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thylacine
  7. Authors Amanit and MUSH1 Hello survivors, I present to you the Rajasaurus. It seems to me that the game currently lacks dinosaurs that could give buffs to allies. Rajasaurus would become a faithful assistant for any player, as he is able to increase the maximum weight of allies in a certain radius from him as a percentage. Also, the Rajasaurus itself has a high maximum carry weight. In addition to passive abilities, he is distinguished by a debilitating bite and a special roar, but first things first. Basic information: Common Name: Rajasaurus Species: Rajasaurus narmadensis Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Сarnivor Temperament: Aggressive Wild This large theropod can be easily identified by its powerful hind limbs and a single horn on its forehead. Rajasaurs tend to migrate frequently, covering great distances. For representatives of their kind, they are very calm, but if you lose your vigilance, you can easily say goodbye to life. His bites quickly exhaust the victim to such an extent that by the end of the fight she cannot even stand up. If the Rajasaurus is severely wounded, it lets out a loud scream and quickly runs away. Domesticated Rajasaurus is highly valued among nomadic tribes. His resilience in travel lends strength to surrounding allies, and they can carry heavy loads more easily. If the caravan is attacked by predators or bandits, the Rajasaurus emits its trademark roar, which helps allies to flee or defend themselves. Saddle: The Rajasaurus saddle has no special properties. Drops: Hide Raw meat Raw prime meat Passive Abilities: • Rajasaurus has a high maximum carry weight, and this indicator improves better than others. • Rajasaurus has an aura that increases the maximum carry weight of allies. The percentage by which the maximum carry weight increases and the radius of the ability can be improved in the characteristics of the dinosaur (they are improved separately from each other). The higher the level of a wild Rajasaurus, the higher these characteristics. However, it will be quite difficult to improve these characteristics, so do not flatter yourself. The weight increase effect will continue to work after exiting the Rajasaurus aura, but only for 15 seconds. Active abilities: •- Bite strike that reduces the target's maximum carry weight . Each bite on the target reduces the maximum carry weight by 5% for 10 seconds. The effect is such that the maximum carry weight cannot be reduced by more than 80%. If the target is a wild creature, then its speed is correspondingly reduced by 5% per bite for 10 seconds, up to 80%. Bite damage base 45 HP. With a bite, the Rajasaurus dismantles corpses, receiving such resources as: Hide Raw meat Raw prime meat Keratin Chitin Raw fish Raw prime fish Organic polymer Pelt • - the roar that increases the speed and reduces the consumption of endurance of allies who are close to the rajasaurus, and the rajasaurus itself . The effectiveness of the buff depends on the state of health of the rajasaurus: 100% - 80% HP - +5% speed and +5% reduction in stamina consumption; 80% - 60% HP - +15% speed and +15% reduction in stamina consumption; 60% - 40% HP - 20% speed and 20% reduction in stamina consumption; 40% - 20% HP - 25% speed and 25% reduction in stamina consumption; 20% - 1% HP - 30% speed and 30% reduction in stamina consumption. The roar effect lasts 45 seconds, and the roar itself has a 30 second cooldown. [C] - menacing roar. It has no function other than aesthetic. •[Left-Ctrl] - Rajasaurus uses its strong legs to extract resources in small quantities, namely: Fiber Thatch Wood Taming: The taming of the Rajasaurus is standard, forced (Your suggestions are welcome). However, once the stun hits 70%, it will let out its signature roar and its speed will increase by 30%, so to stun it, you have to be on a fast creature or trap it beforehand. Rajasaurus stun decays faster than others. Favorite food: Extraordinary kibble Raw lamb Breeding: Breeding in Rajasaurus is standard, but the maturation of a young individual differs from other creatures. Young Rajasaurs are very moody and require attention more often than other creatures (once every 4 hours). For one fulfilled desire, affection is filled by 20%. However, every time the time for a new desire comes, the little Rajasaurus will start screaming loudly, and it will continue to do so even after the attachment reaches 100%. If you ignore the desires of the Rajasaurus, then after a while his affection will begin to sink, so do not make his majesty wait long. Approximate base specs: Health: 700 Stamina: 450 Oxygen: 150 Food: 2600 Weight: 800 Additional Information: Rajasaurus can carry: Wyvern Quetzalcoatl Tusoteuthis Affected: Large Bear Trap Can damage: Thatch Wooden Possible uses for Rajasaurus: Buffer, which will become a faithful assistant in the extraction of any resources, as you can carry much more at a time. • Improvement for the base. Putting the Rajasaurus in the center of the base will make it easier for the tribe members and their creatures to move around. • Fighting pet. Its unique abilities will help its masters in combat, as the Rajasaurus will force opponents to stand like pillars, and its accelerating roar will help allies escape in case of danger or catch up with a fast target. • Resource collector. Rajasaurus has a large weight and is able to extract straw, wood and fiber, therefore it can act as a resource collector. • Good vehicle. While on the Rajasaurus, you can escape most creatures by slowing them with a debilitating bite and using a roar. However, the Rajasaurus itself is a fairly fast creature. It seems to me that the use of most creatures in the ARK is limited only by the fantasy of the survivors, so you can always experiment). Thank you all for your attention! You can learn about the real Rajasaurus here: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajasaurus
  8. Authors Amanit and MUSH1 Hello survivors, I present to you Helicoprion. Jellyfish and eels have always irritated me when traveling underwater. Their electric shocks are just terrible. That is why I want to offer you a helicoprion, which will become a nightmare for electric creatures and, in combination, their king. I also want to offer a new craft, but first things first. Basic information: Common Name: Helicoprion Species: Helicoprion bessonowi Time: Permian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild Helicoprion from afar can be confused with megalodon. However, if you swim closer, which you should not do, you will inapplicably notice a huge disk of teeth on the lower jaw. In this case, you need to quickly carry your legs! These terrible predators are able to open any armor like tin cans. Especially dangerous are males who care for females. It is also important to remember about the ability of males to accumulate electricity in spikes, which begin to glow with the accumulation of charge. With this ability, they can perform electric shocks that incapacitate opponents. Domesticated To subdue this sea thunderer, the survivors will have to work hard and risk their lives more than once. First you need to charm the female by defeating several angry males in her presence. Females are weaker and do not have the power of electricity, therefore they are tamed in order to subsequently subdue the male. However, if you overcome all difficulties, you will have an incredible fighting companion. With his power of electricity and a disk of teeth, you can crush any opponents! Saddle: The saddle does not have special properties (except for the new craft, but more on that later), but it will cost quite a lot and be unlocked at high levels. Drops: Raw Fish Raw Prime Fish Fragment of a Dental Spiral A fragment of a dental spiral will be a guaranteed trophy from a helicoprion carcass. It will be used in the crafting of acne and jellyfish repellant. After drinking this decoction, you begin to exude helicoprion pheromones, so jellyfish and eels become shy and run away from you. The effect lasts 15 minutes. Passive Abilities: • Thanks to the dental spiral, the helicoprion is able to break the armor of survivors at twice the speed. This ability also allows him to ignore 50% of the saddle armor of tamed creatures, so be careful with him! • Helicoprions prey on other electrical creatures, so electrophoruses and cnidarians are terrified of them (if jellyfish and fish can be afraid at all), since their electric shocks do not cause any harm to helicoprions. Active abilities: • - a bite blow that quickly breaks through the armor of survivors and ignores 50% of the armor of the saddles of tamed creatures. The base damage from the bite of a male is 70 HP. The base damage from the bite of a female is 45 HP. With a bite, the helicoprion dismantles corpses, receiving such resources as: Hide Raw meat Raw prime meat Keratin Chitin Raw fish Raw Prime Fish Organic polymer Pelt - electric shock. Only males have them. The strength and range of the strike depend on how charged the spikes of the helicoprion are. From 0% to 100%, the energy scale fills in 50 seconds, that is, 2% per second. The higher the charge level, the greater the damage, range and stun time of the enemy. The maximum stun time is 10 seconds. Shock Damage - X3 bite damage at max charge, so base damage will be 210 HP. If the Helicoprion sticks its nose out of the water, the impact will be weaker (2X damage) and the electric wave will be shorter, but it will spread through the targets like a chain, creating an electrical circuit. If a Helicoprion with a fully charged energy bar strikes electricity vertically upwards, there is a small chance that a thunderstorm will start. There are ways to speed up the filling of the energy scale: • One bio toxin fed to Helicoprion gives it 4% energy bar filling. • The energy bar fills up when the Helicoprion is shocked by Electrophoruses and Cnidarians, however, since they run away when the Helicoprion approaches, they must first be chased and “rubbed” against them, causing a discharge. • If a saddle is put on a helicoprion, then out of 200 bio toxins in its inventory it will be possible to make a special elixir, which speeds up the recharge of the energy scale by half for 5 minutes. That is, from 0% to 100% the scale will fill in 25 seconds. Does not affect other energy sources. •[C] - release pheramones. This ability works only for the female and is needed to tame the male. When the pheramones are released, all nearby males begin to follow your female and are neutral towards you. Taming: Helicoprion females are weaker than males and do not have electrical abilities. Their dental spirals are smaller, and therefore bites are weaker. However, they are also afraid of electrophoruses and cnidarians. They have a neutral behavior. Short version of taming: You can tame a female by defeating a male in a duel and taking fragments of his spiral disk. After that, with the help of the female, you arrange a "tournament among males" in which the strongest will win and you can brand the winner. Full version of taming: If you want to get a male, you first have to tame a female. To do this, you need to prepare iron armor and a shield (several sets are better!). Also, items that restore HP will not be superfluous. Then you find a female who is courted by a male (females always spawn with males, only males can spawn separately). In order for the male to perceive you as a rival, you need to take a decoction of a fragment of a dental coil to exude pheromones. In this case, the male will start a duel with you, which will be watched by his female. A male that enters duel mode will deal half damage as usual and will not use electric shock. You need to block his attacks with shield and armor, the higher the level of the male (the level of the male corresponds to the level of the female), the more hits he can make before his spiral disk completely becomes unusable. During the duel, the male will break off his teeth, three of which will fall out in the process, and when he is left without teeth (10-25 blows), he will lose the battle and swim away. If you survive the battle, then you will need to pick up the fallen teeth and make a "necklace of helicoprion teeth", the crafting of which will open in the early levels of the game. After you give this necklace to the female, and she becomes yours. It is important to remember that the female will accept the necklace only if you defeat the male. Once you have tamed a female, you have the option to tame a male. When you find a suitable candidate, you release pheromones and he begins to follow your female. Together you find another male helicoprion and release pheromones again. The males start a duel and the one who first lowers the opponent's HP below 30% wins. The loser swims away and the winner returns to the female. Taming progress is filled at the winner after the end of the battle. The higher the level of the male, the more battles he needs to tame, the level of his rivals also plays a role. The difficulty is to find enough helicoprions, and they will not be very common. I hope you are not confused. Breeding: There is nothing unusual in breeding helicoprions. Approximate base specs: Health: 2200 Stamina: 750 Food: 3000 Weight: 800 Additional Information: Helicoprion can carry: Tusoteuthis Can damage: Thatch Wooden Stone Possible uses of helicoprion: • Excellent vehicle. Helicoprions are fast and strong, they are also not touched by cnidarians and electrophoruses, so you can comfortably travel on them across the ocean expanses. • Battle comrade. Thanks to the ability of helicoprions to bite through armor and electric shock over the area, they are able to compete with even the largest inhabitants of the depths of the island. • Resource collector. It will be convenient to get fish and other seafood on the Helicoprion. • Anti-aircraft gun against flyers. The electric wave of the Helicoprion does not work as well on land as in water, but it is still capable of shooting down unwary fliers flying close to the water. It seems to me that the use of most creatures in the Ark is limited only by the imagination of the survivors, so you can always experiment). Thank you all for your attention! You can find out about the real helicoprion here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helicoprion
  9. Image from the world of animals Common name : Sinornithosaurus species: Dromaeosauridae Time: Early Cretaceous Diet : Carnivore Temperament:Reactive Wild : In the wild this dinosaur will tend to stay to itself but if provoked will defend itself. The sinornithosaurus is the size of a raptor . Having sharp claws like other raptor species , it is also fast and agile . Any survivors that should that comes across one on the wild should be careful of how it interact with the sinornithosaurus because it can chose between the choice to kill and tranquillise . Domesticated: After being tamed the Sinornithosaurus can be a helpful asset to any survivor because when riding you can chose to use its poison for either tranquillizing any Dino or for ejecting poison to kill leaving a status affect .
  11. Design: The design of the Atrociraptor should be similar to that seen in the show “Prehistoric Planet” but its size should be more like what was shown in the movie “Jurassic World: Dominion”. They could also have various pattern variants on their bodies these consist of: Solid Color, Leopard Print, Tiger Stripes, and Cow Print. Spawns: Atrociraptor is found within and around the outskirts of volcanic or burnt areas, in the case of Ragnarok “The Burning Mists” area. Atrociraptors spawn in groups of one. Taming (*All controls listed will be for consoles): Atrociraptors have a natural instinct to follow flames. To tame an Atrociraptor you must first consume fria curry and then interact with the Atrociraptor while holding a torch (Similar to the way you tame an Amargasaur). After you have interacted with the Atrociraptor you mjst then mark targets for it to hunt you do this by shooting the creature you want it to hunt using a flame arrow. Sometimes between kills the Atrociraptor will rest and wish be fed cooked meat or exceptional kibble. Repeat this process till tames. Abilites: Passive - The Atrociraptor grants its rider immunity to heat, this makes it an exceptional mount when near volcanoes or in deserts. Bolt - The Atrociraptor begins running extremely fast (Similar to the speed of a Gali), this makes it an extremely fast mount for travel., it can perform a slide (Similar to Andrewsarchus) to end the Bolt quiclky). (Hold left trigger to perform) Pounce - (Can only be done during Bolt) The Atrociraptor jumps on the enemy shredding through their armor, if done to a dinosaur it latches on (Similar to Deinonichus), this attack is extremely hard to aim/hit. The Atrociraptor spreads its arms, opens its mouth, makes a roar/snarl sound, and drools to signify that it is preparing to use this attack (Hold right trigger to perform let go to pounce) Saddle Deign: I think it would be cool for the Atrociraptors saddle to be inspired around knight armor but have the armored parts look lightweight as the Atrociraptor needs to be able to move very quickly. Note: The abilities are completely random ideas I thought of I will change them if anyone has a good suggestion for what they should be.
  12. Deltadromeus agilis Temperament: Territorial Diet: Carnivore Rideable?:Yes Breedable?:Yes Tameable:Yes Deltadromeus would be a swamp/forest-dwelling carnivore. It's preferred food would be Cooked Mutton, and it's preferred kibble would be Extraordinary. It can be immobilized by a Bola or Bear Trap, or you can stun it for a few seconds if you hit it in the head with a slingshot. Once tamed, however, hitting it in the head with a slingshot wont stun it. It is a KO tame. In the wild, Deltadromeus can be a deadly encounter. With its stealth capability, once it sees you, you won't be able to hear its footsteps. Though, you can sense it by its surroundings with a GPS, the location will be scrambling up, so if you see it scrambling, run. The long arms of Deltadromeus can pick you up, and it will bite 25% of your health off if you get picked up. It can also be lured by small dinos (dodo sized), and will do the sneak effect on that. When tamed, Deltadromeus is a fast carnivore, being a tiny bit faster than the Galilmimus! These creatures get a Pack Boost if you have multiple following you. These creatures are exceptional at harvesting hide, but be careful not to weigh it down too much, as it will knock you off if it gets encumbered. You are able to use the stealth on Deltradromeus on demand, with a 3 minute cooldown. You can pick up smaller dinos, around the size of your human. Taming Method: The easiest way would be, of course, to bola it, but Deltadromeus breaks bolas faster, so it would be easier to get up on a high surface, and rain tranqs on it. When harvested, Deltadromeus will drop Hide, Meat, Raw Prime Meat, and a special "Deltradrom Tongue", which you would need to summon bosses with. They will poop Large Animal Feces. Their egg size would be Medium, with a rare chance for it to be Special. They are rideable, and a portable Mortar and Pestle. The saddle will need 10 Metal (not ingot), 50 fiber, 300 hide, and 1 crystal
  13. Hello Ark survivors! This is the first time that I participate in a contest related to the creation of a video game character, and what better way to do it than with my favorite game: Ark Survival Evolved. Hope you like!! Description: The Lycaenops is a small-medium sized predator whose physiognomy and instinct make it an extremely successful option to explore in a versatile, complete and fast way. It is also a killing machine thanks to its jaw similar to that of a wolf and teeth that pierce even the deepest and most resistant layer of skin. They wound in such a lethal way that the prey deteriorates very quickly and due to its size, it has the ability to more effectively dodge attacks than a larger creature. SKILLS: The Lycaenops has two modes that can be toggled, explorer mode and predatory instinct. Explorer mode (DAY): This mode will take you by default when you mount it. -With the left click it will make a bite that will inflict damage. -With the right click it will make a scratch that will serve mostly to harvest the corpse of the victims in a much more effective way, although it will also do damage. -With the space bar you can jump in a run like many dinosaurs, although you can also charge a jump that will allow you to pounce between stones or not very large trees with great speed that will make the Lycaenops a very good option to explore, in addition to not will take fall damage while in scout mode. It should be noted that, even if the Lycaenops is in explorer mode, it can activate the predatory instinct, but if it is daytime when that happens, it will begin to make it sleepy quickly and it will gain unconsciousness until it falls asleep unless it is previously deactivated. If you fall asleep for this reason, you will wake up much faster than usual and unconsciousness will take you down at a great pace. Predatory Instinct (NIGHT): This mode can be toggled (deactivated or activated) between "Explorer Mode" with the "C" key, although it will automatically activate when it becomes night and deactivate when it becomes day. When activating this mode, the aura of the creatures will be seen passively, neutral creatures will be gray and aggressive ones will be red. Additionally, he will gain 20% movement speed. -Left-clicking will inflict a much deadlier bite than its daytime version, which will apply a percentage life drain effect to the victim's health as damage, and a percentage of that life drain will be reflected as health regeneration for the Lycaenops. -With the right click you can mark a creature as prey. By marking it as a target and after the combat has started, the rival will begin to lose energy as the fight goes by, and if the creature runs out of energy it will receive 10% more damage, also if the combat lasts more than 10 seconds, the Lycaenops will gain 1.5% damage reduction per second up to a maximum of 30%. -With the space bar you will make a normal jump, but if you have a marked target when jumping towards the prey, the jump will be much more ferocious and will have more range. The Lycaenops is the quintessential medium-sized predator due to its high damage and hunting qualities against its victims, but it lacks a large amount of health. Domestication: The Lycaenops works in herds, generally between 2 and 4 specimens, due to this and other factors the domestication of one of these predators is complicated: The only way to obtain a Lycaenops is by stealing a young from the female (in case that there is one in the herd) since it is not possible to domesticate a specimen in the traditional way. To achieve this we must establish a herd and verify that among them is a young Lycaenops walking. If so, the best thing to do is to get rid of the herd by killing it or make them face other creatures to divert their attention from the young. If there is a female in the herd, but there is no calf walking next to her, it is possible that it has not yet been born or that the female is pregnant and about to give birth, if it is the latter case, it is best to wait patiently for the female gives birth to the calf and then proceed with the aforementioned explanation. In any domestication scenario, the best way to get a calf is during the day because at those times the herd is resting, since the whole group is lurking at night and it can become a very complicated task to steal the calf.
  14. Image from vk.com Common name:Quinkana Species: Mekosuchine crocodylians Time:Pleistocene Diet: carnivore Temperamente: Agressive Wild: The Quinkana is normarly found need a river or a lake, On ragnarock it is found around the swamp area and the desserts lake where it waits to ambush prey waiting in the water, it is very agile and fast in water but also on land . The Quinkana is not afraid of a challenge being bigger than a sarco it will attack anything it can get it hands. Quinkana likes to stalk it's prey from the water first before attacking. When a survivors are out and about they should watch out when they got to get a drink because the quinkana acts fast if a prey is in water where it is more adventageous. But always beware of your surroundings because it can also half bury itself in sand to ambush any passing prey too. Domesticated: When it is tamed it can be a usefull asset for any survivor trying to get some meat with it's weight reduction on meat to be able to carry more , plus it's armor percing teeth that can rip armor to pieces in just a couple of bites. It can be a great defense dino for your base if surrounded by water. Taming: To tame a Quinkana you must sacrifice a tame by letting it be grabbed by a Quinkana when it ambushes it and after eating enough the quinkana will come out of the water and half bury itself in the sand around and you have to come up and feed it it's prefered food mutton. Combat: The Quinkana after being tamed with have to different bites a normal one and a second one where the Quinkana prepare to do a big chomp that will leaves the target with a bleed affect after. Tail whip: The quinkana having a big strong tail can use his tail as an attack by hitting a target with a tail whip that stuns the target for a short period and also dismount any survivor on a mount to the size of a trike. Agility: With the Quinkana being really quick and agile it can turn around 180° really fast so it can either change sides to attack or to espace if need too.
  15. INTRODUCTION ALBERTOSAURUS The Marauder King Albertosaurus, one of the most famous tyrannosaurids, also known from the game "Jurassic World the game", second only to its recommended cousin T-Rex. This creature has always fascinated me because it was the agile and horned version of the aforementioned t-rex For this please add snowballs and maybe an igloo craft for the cold in the snow SPECIES NAME: Albertosaurus sarcophagus COMMON NAME: Albertosaurus PERIOD: Late Cretaceous TEMPERAMENT: More aggressive (like T-rex) RARITY: Slightly rarer than yutyrannus DIET: Carnivore LOCATION: Snow WILD This marauder lives in the most inhospitable areas of the island but does not disdain to lurk near Icy lakes to capture its prey. He is always accompanied by a pack Direwolves, who help him in his raids as the carno do with the Yuti, his adversary in addition. Few creatures dare to face him, only the most "misunderstood geniuses" (or perfectly understood idiots) will dare to face him knowing that even the Snow will be his enemy. In fact, he possesses the ability to use Snow as a weapon to immobilize, buff allies or incinerate enemies to death with his powerful roar, these skills have allowed him to easily defend against his rivals... to such an extent that even our bani they risk being attacked and swallowed by the Snow of this ferocious predator. TAME Taming this creature is not easy, in fact it has a degree of difficulty equal to an alpha thanks to its very debilitating abilities and its legion of beasts. To tame the beast you will have to respect these steps: 1- Eliminate his pack 2- Wait for him to roar to throw Snowballs in his eyes 3- Now mount him and he will start trying to throw you off 4- if you stay on for 30 seconds it will tame Once tamed you will not only have an excellent fighting animal, but also a support creature that will help you, for example, in the arduous fights against Deathworm, Wyvern, Giga, Alpha, Boss, PVP Wars In fact, the gentleman has the ability to armor his allies in Snow with any move he makes, making them damage resistant, halved, and FIREPROOF (get these wyverns!!!). Also he is able to farm Snow for igloos SKILLS AND MOVESETS His main skills are based on total SNOW,DIRT AND SAND CONTROL (GROUND), his moves are: 1- BITE: - As strong as he is he is not as strong as the t-rex, on the other hand he can attack MUCH FASTER, like a bird of prey, to compensate for his lack of strength. 2- TACTICAL ESCAPE: - (When the Dino is low on life) Like a ninja, if he is seriously injured he can trample the Snowy/sandy/dirt ground very hard, raising a cloud like the giant moth's, but bigger so that he can escape in case of need. 3-FEATHER SHOT : - Though the feathers are not very strong the feathers on his tail are quite sharp and are able to launch from his tail damaging anything they hit 4- ROAR OF THE MARAUDERS AND HYPERSONIC: [Left-Ctrl] - Like all the rexes in the game it has two roars compared to the others, one for group assault which, like the Dinopithechis, if it has a group following, unleashes them against everyone, in fact when this is wild what could put even a well leveled t-rex in crisis. Last but not least, he has a roar that needs to recharge after a certain amount of time which is not only his ace up his sleeve, but is purely offensive. In fact, he will emit a roar so powerful that it can tear any type of creature alive in one continuous blow. ( The Hypersonic roar works when you charge the roar and with full stamina charged ) 5- BASIC STATS: He is weaker in stamina and health than the t-rex, but he is more agile, faster and has more stamina (All these skills, when in contact with allies, to armor them giving them resistance and making them FIREPROOF) 6- PACK BUFF: When paired with 3 Direwolves or 2 other Albertosaurus it will gain the pack buff FISICAL ASPECT In appearance it may appear to be a T-Rex leaner and about the size of the Yuti, with some plumage on the upper body. (as in the first photo). His mutations range from black-electric blue to black-purple. When she uses one of his abilities it almost seems like his lungs light up. DROPS Hide Raw Meat Prime Meat Snow (Rare) Pelt Albertosaurus feathers CAN COLLECT Al form of meat (raw meat, prime, meat, mutton meat, expired meat) saddle recipe and level unlock: recipe 370 hide, 5 albertosaurus feathers, 200 fiber, and 20 metal More info: powerful legs to give a weight reduction to metal, obsidian, and wood
  16. Introducing Madtsoia! Initially, I wanted to suggest another creature, but it did not fit into the theme of the map in any way. Having decided to somehow connect this with the theme of the map, I remembered Jormungand and thought about adding a large snake, the choice fell on Madzoya. I tried to do it in an unusual and interesting way, fitting into the balance. I hope you like it. I don't know how to draw, so I won't be able to provide a dossier and a drawing of a snake. Only the description of the appearance and the text of the dossier itself. Sorry if there are mistakes in the text, I don't know English so well. Dossier: Common Name: Madtsoia Species: Madtsoia Simpson Time: Eocene Diet: Carnivorе Temperament: Aggressive Wild These snakes are hiding in the Ark jungle. They are excellent hunters, both day and night. Madtsoia are wary of animals that are much larger than them in size or pose a serious threat. They are found in small groups of 2-3 individuals, but single individuals are not uncommon. Few managed to survive a collision with them. Madtsoia waits for the victim in an ambush, after which he makes a swift attack. If the prey is still alive, he grabs it and begins to strangle it. The creatures can break out, but that's all the snake is waiting for. Her skin secretes a poison with soothing properties that will not allow them to escape far. The fangs of the Madtsoia contain a unique venom that softens the tissues, which makes their bites more deadly. They are also immune to tranquilizers. Domesticated I've seen tribes use a group of 3 snakes while attacking other tribes, often throwing them into battle with other creatures. They were not the main attacking force, they helped in the attack of another domesticated animal. I also noticed that the survivors use arrows smeared with poison. The use of Madtsoia to tame wild creatures has also been noticed. Madtsoia is an amazing snake when it comes to offspring. They can be called viviparous, although in fact this is a common delay in laying eggs. The egg is preserved and develops in the mother's body, as a result of which a small snake is born. Appearance: In fact, Madtsoia looks like something similar to a python or a boa, but the game already has a Titanoboa, so it needs some kind of external feature. I think the resemblance to a atheris could beautify it. Unlike the real Madtsoia, in the game it will be longer than Titanoboa. Gameplay: Let's look at the features of Madtsoia in more detail. I must say right away that a lot of things were invented by me, and a real animal could not have this. For example, this snake actually has no venom. I made it so that it would become much more interesting and useful. As indicated in the dossier, arrows and darts with tranquilizers have no effect on Madtsoia. To tame her, you need to use other animals. By feeding her a certain number of parasaurs or rexes, you can gain her trust. Madtsoia herself eats any meat, even rotten. A saddle on Matzoya would be a mid-game or late- game, but there is no need for it. You can use the snake functionality without it. Abilities: Lmb: Bite. A standard bite attack from a medium distance. Rmb: Swift attack. A long attack, but very powerful. During this, the snake curls up and prepares to strike. The harder you hold the button, the more powerful the attack is, but if you hit Madzoya when she is preparing for it, the attack will be reset. C : Thermal imager. The same as a Snow Owl. Ctrl: Grab. This attack is very similar to a swift attack. The snake also collapses when the key is pressed, but after releasing it, the snake will jump forward. The harder you hold down the key, the further the jump will be. If there is not too big or too small creatures in the way of Madtsoia, she will throw off the rider and grab the victim, otherwise she will simply attack. Utility and features: As I said above, the Madtsoia will be useful without a saddle. This is a big live bolas. He can link creatures slightly larger than Rex and those who are smaller. If you order her to attack with a whistle, she will grab the target, thereby making it easier for you to kill or tame another creature. In addition to immobilizing the target, Madtsoia, thanks to the sedative that her skin secretes, will help you put to sleep and save the number of spent darts or arrows. Madtsoia brings a new effect to the game. Let's call it "Softening". This effect increases the damage done and can accumulate. Each bite has a 40% chance of dealing it and increases damage by 10%. For example, your creature has dealt 600 units of damage, and under the effect of "Softening" it will deal 660 units of damage. With repeated application, the percentage of increase will increase by 10%. That is, if you apply the Softening Effect twice, the damage will increase by 20%. Maximum damage can increase by 50%. Each bite of Madtsoia has a chance to impose an effect. This effect does not increase the damage from bleeding, fire and other effects. Madtsoi have a herd effect and the main reason you have three snakes is to improve the "Softening" effect. The head of the pack will impose a "Strong Softening" effect. When applying a "Strong softening", it is impossible to apply the usual one. "Strong softening" works the same as usual, but the effect is superimposed with a 60% chance, and the damage can be maximized by 100%, that is, doubled. The dossier said about arrows with the same effect, but how to get them? Everything is very simple, you will need to approach the tamed snake and select "Collect poison" in the circular menu. It is impossible to collect Madtsoia poison from the dead. Arrows are made in a pocket when using a stone arrow and poison, and tranquilizer dart on a smithy when using ordinary darts and Madtsoia poison. Arrows impose a "Softening" effect with a 100% chance, but for a much shorter period of time. The food in Madtsoia's inventory spoils faster. Madtsoia has infrared vision, which can facilitate night walks. Also a nice addition to the snake is its ability to detect an alpha creature. If an alpha creature appears within a certain radius of it, then Madtsoia will emit a prolonged hiss. The closer the alpha creature gets, the louder the hissing. Another useful skill of Madtsoia is that she can become a living incubator for the eggs of your rexes and other egg-laying creatures. They can also carry Wyvern and Drake eggs. A snake can incubate only one egg, but they will not need certain conditions. In order for the snake to incubate the egg, it must be put in an additional inventory cell. I assume that you need to make a separate cell, approximately where the cells for skins and sedelas are. Conclusion: I hope you guys enjoyed this concept! I know that there are already snakes in the Ark, but why not diversify the game world with another and useful one. I will be glad of your comments and edits. If you liked my ideas, then I don't mind that at the next vote someone will suggest Madtsoia, because I'm thinking of suggesting different creatures for each vote.
  17. Common name: Eocarcharia Species name: Eocarcharia dinops Time: Early Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: It's unknown if Eocarcharia hunted alone or in packs. Judging by its size (6-8m length) and fact that he is a Carcharodontosauridae there is a possbility they hunted in packs. Similar to Allosauruses, the Eocarcharias could wander in group of 3 members hunting small sauropods and hadrosaurs. Eocarcharias' fossils were found on Sahara, so they'd live on deserted areas of the map(s). Their bites would apply bleeding to their preys. Encyclopedia says Sarcosuchus might have been his potential enemy, so that could hint something? Bonus damage against crocodiles or something lol (no) Taming: Honestly, I am not sure. Most of lately added creatures have their own unique taming method. Maybe let's stay with knocking them out? Especially if they hunted in packs. Cannot think of something better at the moment uhh unless riding on them like on Equus (good luck) Domesticated: I swear I am trying to figure something out so it does not look like smaller Allosaurus copy...... Let's try to make them more mobile and fierce I wanna make them pack hunters as well but with small buffs so they are actually useful haha Abilities (While standing): LMB - Bite. RMB - Mega-Bite: The longer you hold button the more damage it does/the longer bleeding lasts. Applies bleeding. C - Roar: Would buff Damage of all Eocarcharias in pack. (Self included) (To do big damage) Abilities (While running): RMB - Lunge. Would perform a dash towards target enemy and apply the Mega-Bite. Maybe additionally slowing the target? I chose Lunge because they COULD NOT jump. C - Roar: Would buff Speed of all Eocarcharias in pack. (Self included) (To chase down the enemy) Eocarcharia could also increase it's running speed overtime and drift like Andrewsarchus. Army of Eocarcharias racing for kills! Additionally reduced weight for meat and hide (so they can hunt and hunt) (It's really hard to create a new mechanic for me because it's either already used or too complicated to program smh) It's one of my favorite less known dinosaurs. I'd love to see it getting some love from people. We do not have too much information on this dinosaur, but I managed to find something on various wikis. Also the name sounds cool B) I had fun making this one - my first submission! Enjoy ^^
  18. The rexes in ARK have been shunned by the far larger and superior Giganotosaurus. But in reality, Tyrannosaurus, although slightly smaller, was a far more advanced and powerful predator. With this new species, Tyrannosaurus gets the respect it deserves... IMPERATOR Species: Tyrannosaurus imperator Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggresive Wild This larger relative of the Rex is one of the ARK's most dangerous predators. They can overpower even a giga, which I thought at first to be the top predator here. And they hunt in prides, tripling the danger. In group they have even been known to hunt and kill Saltasaurus. The key to these giants' success is evidently their advanced skulls. Domesticated Being the ultimate war beast, Imperators require the same basic principles to tame but the pride factor adds to the difficulty. The jaws of these theropods are insanely strong, being able to crush metal and the bones of its victims. They also have powerful senses of smell and sight, allowing them to detect enemies easily. The tyrannosaurs have a pack instinct, and when in groups can get boosts to their prowess. Many call it a "Titan Rex", but I see "Imperator" as a more appropriate name. I'm smarter and I'm the one writing these dossiers, so I decide, at least this time. --- The Imperator will spawn in groups of up to 3. Spawns in around mountains, snow, and other highly dangerous areas. They can damage metal and all lower tiers. They also gain sniff and pack bonus abilities similar to the dire wolf. They require the standard knock out method of taming, and eat the same as a giga. Their stats are similar to a giga's, but slightly lowered in everything but melee. Predator senses: can be toggled on to give vision like that of a TEK Helmet. Crushing bite: Takes about 8 seconds to preforms and has a very small AOE. Deals high damage and inflicts a broken-bone effect, which works like an Injury and a Bleed. If it hits a creature with a drag weight of 300 kgs or less, it will deals just enough damage to cause a real injured effect (unless more damage would be dealt otherwise). 30 sec cooldown. Roar: This ability causes all enemies within range to have a 80% chance of being frightened. This condition causes their attacks to be twice as slow and, for characters, a blurred vision like beer causes. Size of the creature does not matter. Image is personal work and uses images from Apple TV's Prehistoric Planet.
  19. Siats are known to be one of the most dangerous creatures on the island, displaying extreme violence and rage in their attacks. They are the perfect predator, capable of hunting down their prey with precision and using their weaknesses to their advantage. Siats seem to hunt for sport, as they often display a level of violence that is unnecessary for survival. Filling the environment with corpses of those that it caught They are far larger than the siats of the world standing just below a rex in height while a level of increased growth is common on the ark this is a special case growing to massive sizes. They are adapted well to the ark and its challenges as stated it uses its prey's weakness to hunt. And using the environment to its advantage Despite being large in size, Siats are incredibly difficult to spot due to their incredible stealth, and often it is too late when they are finally detected. Siats are also known to be incredibly hard to tame, as they are naturally resilient to most narcotics and are highly aggressive. Those that manage to tame the siats have found them to be incredibly stubborn. With them often doing their own wants and needs. They need an ideal environment and prey to even begin to cooperate. Tribes that attempt to keep this creature confined will find it will often break through any man made barriers to escape. And may come back, but often leave to rome the lands again to put siats simply it’s a war beast made to absolutely destroy enemy units while taking everything they have to throw at it.the using prays weaknesses means wild ones will use what it’s better at,so say you have a super strong Rex it will attack then run away and hide, the breaking out is my attempt at balancing it out, when it breaks out they are unclaimed so don’t worry about having to tame a new giant murder machine
  20. The Toakasa is the size of a large rex and they are a carnivore liking Extraordinary Kibble the most and fish meat the least. It's body shape is like a green anole giving it the abilty to climb like a Thylacoleo. It can be tamed and has to have a saddle to ride on.
  21. My Idea Bistahieversor would be a new Dino to shine some light in the mid game of your adventure. The bistahievesor was a Dino who had evolved with very good senses and this would go into its abilities. Touch After attacking a Dino it will be pinned while riding bistahievesor for the next hour(is toggle able). This ping will be similar to a taming tracker where it says the distance but instead of showing tame percent it would show the health of the Dinosaur. Taste After eating a meat it can indemnify what dinosaur meat it just ate and locate a general area where the Dino COULD be found (will not go in water). This will be togglable Scent The bistahievesor can smell the ground and determine what Dino’s have crossed the area(no location just species and level) Sight In the night time the bistahievesor can have either normal vision, thermal vision, or night vision. These could all be used to hunt in the night Hearing(Help Needed) Bistahievesor can hear Dino’s nearby and if a roar of any kind is happening it will pin the Dino and where they are while roaring (this one is up for suggestions) Saddle The saddle would be pretty basic. You would obtain it at level 46. There would be two little caches on both sides of the saddle that can hold 50 pounds each just for extra storage. Stats This would not be the next Giga or Carchar. This would be like a nimbler Allo with more stamina and faster speed in trade for lower health. Wild This Dino would be naturally neutral even though it is a carnivore. Although any type of roar will make it aggressive. It would be found in redwoods, deserts, hills, and the snowy areas. Taming This creature woild have a very unique and fun taming method. First you would feed it prime meat then bistahievesor would run and play hide and seek with you when you find it it will gain taming percent. The level would change how many times you have to play hide and seek with it. If you vote for this thanks I thought this would be a cool idea. Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bistahieversor
  22. ⚠️⚠️⚠️Very important information: This creature has 6 dossiers with information, unfortunately the space allowed to upload images on this platform is very small, for that reason I only uploaded 2 images below there are links to high resolution images in English and Spanish with all the information of the creature ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Dossier in Spanish: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0LgBzSMR4rKakCG1967iNuZiFQLWeRrhENN5sMdCo5oAe5V6HZjS2d1vaL64Niixel&id=100089095253295&sfnsn=scwspwa&mibextid=RUbZ1f Dossier in English: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0xRyq5aSMpVS9ma8v41eAQP1tKQiUJjfjFciAsS371Wpy3gayM78KMrheNVA62ovVl&id=100089095253295&mibextid=Nif5oz In ARK there is a very large variety of creatures, but none of them have Tracking abilities, in my opinion there is no creature more loyal to humans than dogs 🧡🐕‍🦺, they are also very good trackers, at home I have 2 boxer dogs which they inspired my creature's design and behavior with a touch of the wild side of ARK. The reason why I decided that my creature was blind is because all my life I have had vision problems, so I wanted to turn my deficiency into a virtue in my creature, despite its lack of vision, it is very strong, fast and pretty fierce but don't judge the Darkwalker by his looks deep down he has a big heart. His tracking abilities are very wide, he can track any creature, you only need his dermis, if a survivor tries to rob you and fails, just by giving the dark walker his implant he will be able to track the survivor and hopefully his secret base
  23. Also known as "The Ocean Giga" Calanus hyperboreusis enormous plankton which lives deep at the bottom of the sea and can also go on land and fly and can even swim in lava and element water. It's bullet proof and rivals mate boosted max melee gigas. The King titan is scared of it too. He's very aggressive and can one-hit every single creature in ARK except Gallimimus who is his only natural predator. Taming method requires feeding him Titanosauruses. It'll has to be sized up like 1 000 000 000 times but it surely won't be a problem. 24.
  25. Name: Goronyosaurus Umbravenator Dossier: Wild: Goronyosaurus are highly adaptable mosasaurs - small ones at that. They are found both in seas and lakes. In deep dark water they can more or less become invisible. As ambush predators, they can produce a rapid burst of speed, which drains their stamina. Unlike other creatures they need air and must surface. They do not expend oxygen if unmoving, though. They can also leap straight out of the water and impale targets, causing a bleed. Tamed: As knockout tames, they are hard to take down due to their speed. I recommend building above them so when they lunge they get stuck. They are highly sought mounts. Abilities: Goronyosaurus are ambush predator mounts. Like in real life, they can go in freshwater and saltwater similarly to bull sharks. This makes them much smaller though. Goronyosaurus are meant to suit both chase and ambush roles. They're decently quick (speed is just less than that of ichthyosaurus so ichthys don't become useless), but then must stick to the surface in order to have oxygen ready for when they run out. They can also jump a bit out of the water when moving forward. They also have the ability to do a short stun to medium/small creatures with a tail slap. As ambush predators, you can go deep underwater, and once deep enough you can see creatures above highlighted in a certain radius. You can also go invisible once this deep, without losing stamina. However, you must restrict your fast movements to conserve oxygen. By looking vertically when deep creatures in your way get marked. Then you can vertically launch upward, draining your stamina. If it is an ichthyosaurus or smaller, you will latch on to it and can deal pretty decent damage in this way. If it is bigger than an ichthy, you will deal a short bleed effect known as impaling (but dunkleosteus and megachelon don't get impaled due to their superior armor). Keep in mind that you can clear the surface when going vertically and attack flyers that get too close to the surface. Appearance: Goronyosaurus are about the size of an ichthy, slightly bigger but only lengthwise. Their bellies are striped and their backs are dark. They are long and lean with four flippers and a sharp, pointy jaw. Taming: Goronyosaurus must be knocked out, but this is hard since they are fast, really fast. Plus you may be at risk from its variety of attacks. A better way is to build a trap above and trick them into making a vertical lunge into the trap, but this is still fairly dangerous and the mount you are using may die. Tamed: Goronyosaurus are good small underwater mounts, in a biome where the creature with the biggest damage and health pool is the best. They also make travelling by river more useful. Their invisibility may be useful for underwater artifacts, changing things up a bit.
