as an giant herrerasaurus adaptis is a great mount.herrerasaurus adaptis or herrera for short is a predator to all gasbags as there bladder is needed to make there poison.herrera can smell a gasbag as far as five miles away and its poison can even kill the element if given enough.herreras tongue has a sharp piece at the end of it that can be used as a spear.taming herrerasaurus adaptis is a mountain of a task.first you have to kill one to get its eye.then you have to combine it with a gasbag bladder to make a bladder broth.next feed it to a gasbag so when a herrera attacks it will get drunk.last feed it some gasbag bladder or some element then you have a herrerasaurus.

Nomadacris Chimera - The Locust of Viscera
Batfrog posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Common Name: Vicalocust Species Name: Nomadacris Chimera Based off real world - Nomadacris Septemfasciata just Extinction-ified Time: Post - Holocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: In swarms of up to 5 These ambush predators are normally found high up in redwood trees, Cliff sides, and sometimes even large caverns, blending into their surroundings they will attack any survivor that crosses their path as well as anything small enough to get caught in their claws. Their normally wood-like skin gives them natural armor against cutting and slashing and their quick and agile movement makes them a formidable foe in combat. Domesticated: Once tamed they make a fantastic mount with their backpack-like saddle they can carry a surprising amount of weight without losing any agility or speed. With powerful jumps into the air, being able to climb seemingly any surface with their claws and superior ambush capabilities this bug would make a great addition to any survivors arsenal. Taming: To tame this bug one must prove themselves to be the better hunter. You must lure one into a bear trap whether it is chasing you or attacking a tame once trapped in a bear trap you must take it down to 15% of its health and then feed it corrupted hearts. This display of dominance will gain this creature's servitude. Abilities: Climbing: This creature has 2 sets of arms, the front are equipped with a longer claw used to stab into surfaces in order to climb quickly up surfaces. The back arms are smaller and cannot be normally seen from the front but these allow it to hold itself in place to get into a ready position to do any Ambush/Grapple attack. Ambush: It has chromatophores that allow it to change the color and texture of its skin allowing it to find a high up tree, mountain, Cliff, or even Caverns, to sit in wait for prey to come into range. It can also use its hook-like feet to latch onto a ceiling and lay in wait there. Grapple: Has the ability to grab and bite into smaller creatures. Aerial Grapple: The Vicalocust can launch itself onto a small/Medium flyer pulling it to the ground and pinning it. Or pulling a survivor off a large flyer. Lure/Mimic: Has the ability to mimic the calls of other creatures allowing it to cause them to walk into its ambush range. Attacks: Left Click: Claw slash attack Right Click: Grapple Attack (Aerial Grapple if in Ambush position) Spacebar: Jump and holding charges jump Pressing Ctrl: Activities climbing ability Pressing : X When climbing this activities the ambush mode. (Turning it around to face outward so It can pounce onto anything passing by) Pressing X: Press once to Targets Dino for the lure call Press X again to activate the call. -
Thanatotheristes deserti Thanatotheristes is a dinosaur I'd like to see in ARK, first of all, there's only 2 Tyrannosaurids in the game so far and Thana is NOT going to be a Giga sized killer (wow!!!) and I have quite a few neat ideas for it that I hope will earn me your vote! First of all, let's get some general info about Thanatotheristes out of the way! Thanatotheristes is a genus of Tyrannosaurid from the Late Cretaceous around 80MYA. It was approx 8M and 2.5M tall in life (although, like most ark creatures, mine is slightly scaled up) and was discovered in 2008, named in 2010! now, let's get get to the real meat and potatoes of this guy! ABILITIES Bite: A basic bite, not much to say, deals 10x damage to Corrupted creatures Tail Swipe: Swipes it's tail, deals relatively low damage but knocks creatures back a decent amount (does not do extra damage to corrupted) Charged Bite: A charged up mega-bite! Deals 10x damage to corrupted, does more damage based on how long its held but Thana cannot do bite attacks for a short period of time afterwards Headbutt: A headbutt attack that inflicts torpor and does pretty decent damage to boot! (does not do extra damage to corrupted) Corrupt Mimic: All of the "Blue Element" in Thanatotheristes' body quickly changes to a purple colour to mimic the look of The Corrupted. Is ignored by all Corrupted creatures but gradually drains Stamina, like a Rock Drake. Accelerated healing: Thanatotheristes can heal at a rapid rate by eating what would normally be lethal Corrupted Nodules! They will scarf them down and rapidly heal while eating them (think like Ambergris and Magmasaurs or Nameless Venom and Rock Drakes) Taming To earn the trust of the Thanatotheristes you must first entice it with a Corrupted Heart! They simply cannot resist the taste of them! Then, you must complete an OSD or Element Vein, any difficulty will tame one but the harder the difficulty, the higher the Taming Effectiveness! Rejoice Amargasaurus haters! Thanatotheristes cannot be harmed by Friendly Fire and essentially acts as a literal temporary Tame until you either tame it or fail to tame it. Once you finish an OSD with it still by your side, you'll be able to reap this beast's many rewards! Dossier I also wrote a little Dossier for it, since I always find those to be quite fun to read and informative! Give it a read! Common Name: Thanato Species: Thanatotheristes deserti (Death Reaper of The Wasteland) Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Opportunistic Wild: I never thought I'd see a Prehistoric animal on Earth, let alone looking like THIS. They have similar features to the other fauna that exist on Earth; although they are quite well adapted to life in the Wastelands, unlike some of the other animals who are adapted to biome-specific life. The element that has attached to it's body actually works greatly in its favour; it can both regulate the Thanato's temperature and even change colour to blend in with The Corrupted! I've never seen any other animal with this kind of adaptation and it is quite impressive all things considered. Domesticated: Just as they look like quite the oddity, they are tamed oddly too! To tame a Thanato you must first obtain a corrupted heart and feed it do the Thanato. Then, you must aid it in protecting and OSD or Element Vein, both have corrupted for the Thanato to kill. It sounds strange, seeing as corruption is such a potent and infectious form of Element but the Thanato is seemingly perfectly adapted to hunting and consuming The Corrupted, strange.. A tamed Thanato can be very very good for all uses! Due to it's strange adaptation of being immune to The Corruption, they can kill Corrupted animals effortlessly! They can also consume corrupted nodules without being harmed at all, it even invigorates them and regenerates their vitality! Due to their smaller size comparative to some other dinosaurs, they aren't capable of doing as much upfront damage to non-Corrupted creatures but they can still make quite a dent! Having a flurry of abilities and being able to travel the wasteland very well, it is a jack-of-all trades animal perfect for wasteland traversal and Element Vein/OSD protection! I hope you liked my submission for Thanatotheristes! If you liked it, and feel generous enough, please drop a vote! Much appreciated!

This creature has adapted to its surroundings perfectly, it has a natural camouflage so it is unseen by most other sea creatures, except for Tuso and Anglerfish, which can spot it swimming through the depths. It has an almost symbiotic relationship with the Anglerfish, meaning Anglerfish are partially aggressive to the Coralotel as it's after the Anglerfish's Angler Gel, which is a sort of catnip to the creature. On it's back lay a few rows of bright sea coral which help the Coralotel blend it even better to it's surroundings. Also along it's back are brightly coloured stripes which light up when fed Angler Gel. This puts it in glow mode, increasing it's HP, attack and stamina temporarily. When glow mode is activated, all creatures can see the (AXO) Coralotel. The gills of the (AXO) Coralotel produce oxygen so when saddled, act as a oxygen tank. To tame this creature, it needs to be lead far into land, as oxygen reaises it's torpor. Once knocked out it's fed Biotoxin as its kibble. The (AXO) Coralotel can be bred but cannot mature in captivity so stay small .however its young act as a shoulder pet whose special ability is to produce oxygen for it's wearer. The young can glow when feed Angler Gel which can be used as a light. Axolotls are known as the amphibian that never grows up Axolotls are friendly faced salamanders that stay in their 'tadpole' form forever

The Borealopelta is a heavily armored herbivore that can take a lot of damage from predators. It has a unique ability to camouflage itself, making it difficult for predators to spot. It's also a slow mover, so it's best to keep it in a protected area. Since the Borealopelta is a heavily armored herbivore, it would likely be able to withstand many of the dangers of the Aberration environment, such as radiation and hazardous terrain. However, it may struggle with the lack of vegetation in some areas, so it would need to be placed in an area where it can easily access food. Additionally, the Borealopelta's ability to camouflage itself could be especially useful in Aberration, as it would allow it to blend in with its surroundings and avoid detection by predators. To tame a Borealopelta in Ark Aberration, you would need to first knock it unconscious using a tranquilizer. Once it's unconscious, you can feed it its preferred food, which is Rockarrot. You'll need to continue feeding it Rockarrot until the taming bar is full. It's important to note that the Borealopelta has a very slow taming process, so be prepared to wait a while. Once it's tamed, you'll have a heavily armored herbivore that can take a lot of damage and has the unique ability to camouflage itself. In Ark Aberration, the Borealopelta is a passive creature, meaning that it won't attack unless provoked. However, if it is attacked, it will defend itself with its heavy armor and large size. It's important to note that the Borealopelta's slow movement speed can make it vulnerable to predators, so it's best to keep it in a protected area. Additionally, the Borealopelta's ability to camouflage itself can make it difficult to locate, so be sure to keep an eye on it if you're in an area with predators. A tamed Borealopelta in Ark Aberration would be useful for protection against predators, as its heavy armor and large size make it a formidable opponent. Additionally, the Borealopelta's ability to camouflage itself can make it difficult for predators to detect, making it a great defense against surprise attacks. Finally, the Borealopelta's slow movement speed can make it a good choice for base defense, as it can be placed in a strategic location to protect your base from enemy attacks. Saddle? Unfortunately, it's not possible to craft a saddle for the Borealopelta in Ark Aberration. While the Borealopelta can be tamed and ridden, it does not have a saddle that can be crafted. Instead, you'll need to use the Borealopelta's natural abilities to your advantage, such as its heavy armor and camouflage, to protect yourself and your base. In Ark Aberration, you can find Borealopelta in the Aberration Trench, which is located in the deepest part of the Aberration map. The Aberration Trench is a dangerous area filled with radiation, hazardous terrain, and dangerous creatures, so be sure to come prepared with plenty of supplies and a strong team of creatures to help you navigate the area safely. Additionally, the Borealopelta can sometimes be found wandering in other areas of the map, but it's most commonly found in the Aberration Trench.

^All Art is done by Lapis Lazuli and Dossier is edited by Mihael Common Name :Majungasaurus Species : Majungasaurus absconditus Time : Late Cretaceous Diet : Carnivorous Temperament :Opportunistic WILD: Majungasaurus absconditus is quite the interesting theropod. While most of the creatures of the ark look different to their real life counterparts, majungasaurus seems to have evolved to fit into a new niche in the arks ecosystem. It seems to have adapted many traits from modern day chameleons including the ability to change their skin color to camouflage into their surroundings. Many survivors often talk about how they feel like there's something always watching them just from the treeline out of sight and from my studies I believe that majungasaurus may be the culprit. They seem to have a higher intelligence than most creatures on the ark and are very curious by nature. Domesticated: A tamed majungasaurus however is a scientist's best friend. These creatures can be used to sneak up on and study even the most dangerous of animals and can even help find certain desired traits in wild creatures. And for those who would rather venture out on their own, some survivors have figured out how to modify their armor with the shedded scales of majungasaurus to give them limited camouflage. Taming: To tame a majungasaurus you must gain its trust by crafting structures and other trinkets to appease its curiosity. The higher quality item the less taming effectiveness is lost. Taming 2: To tame a majungasaurus you must gain its trust by feeding into its cannibalistic tendencies. You must kill and bring other majungasaurus to the target majunga Stat Reading: While camouflaged on a majunga you are able to sneak up on unsuspecting creatures. If you're able to get close enough your majunga will be able to act like a primitive HLNA from the genesis maps and read out the base stats of said creature. Camouflage Armor: As the majunga sheds its skin, survivors will be able to gather leftover scales and apply it to their armor to gain the majungas ability to camouflage. However unlike majunga survivors will only be able to camouflage while standing completely still. Combat: The majunga isn't really much of a fighter so it only has a basic bite attack that does around the same damage as a carno. Size: The Majunga would be around the size of Megalosaurus ingame which would allow it to be a new caving creature since we haven't gotten anything capable of caving in a long time. Suggestions from Replies: Getting a buff when eating another Majunga Eat other tamed Majungas when it gets low on hunger Main Attack does bonus damage if used while invisible (brings majunga out of invisibility)

Coelurosauravus elivensis: Fire Lizard - A Bob's Best Friend
SnowGryphon posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Note: This creature was previously listed under the name of its currently living relative draco volans, which is so much easier to say. But the rules state it has to be a real but extinct creature. So here you are. Coelurosauravus elivensis looks like a tiny winged glowtail, about 8" in size. It is a warming shield that makes you invisible to wild dinos. This little carnivore spawns where sulfur is found, and is passively tamed with cactus sap or (less effectively) sulfur or raw meat; similar to the way sinomacrops are tamed. Once tamed, pick up Coelurosauravus elivensis and it goes into your inventory shield slot (so you can also have a shoulder pet). Visually, it holds onto your shield arm, wrapping its little arms and legs around your arm and resting its head on the back of your hand. (It peeks at you when you raise your arm to look at your implant.) Primarily, this tiny wyvern acts like a full ghillie suit + cactus broth + bug repellent + invisibility ala rock drake, shadowmane, or pachyrhino. It makes you completely undetectable to all dinos, unless you touch or hit them. Pegos will ignore you; sea gulls can't see you anymore. Monkeys won't spook. Cave adventures are a walk in the park, as long as you watch your step! Secondly, if you put sulfur in the "elf dragon's" inventory, it will start to glow and be able to breathe fire. The glow provides a source of light similar to a light pet. The internal fire creates a passive source of warmth equal to a campfire. It can also defend you, burning any attackers who hit you. It is breedable, usually laying 2-4 eggs with one breeding. In summary, the Coelurosauravus elivensis is a Bob's best friend. It's a living torch/invisibility shield that uses the inventory shield slot (keeping the hand and shoulder free). Note: The real Coelurosauravus elivensis were only a few inches long and could only glide, rather than fly. pic from https://www.popsci.com/science/first-flying-reptiles-dragons/- 1 reply

Hello survivers! we will show you the domination Rex! with your help we can bring it into the real game Behavior The Domination Rex attacks everyone and everything when it is maturing, even the survivor who imprinted on it. Appearance The Domination Rex is white and similar in appearance to a Rex.png Rex or Giganotosaurus.png Giganotosaurus. However, its arms are a lot larger than those of the Rex, and sport four large claws as well as being covered in rows of large osteoderms. The Domination Rex also has the ability to camoflauge. When camouflaged, the Domination Rex is visible through the dust clouds it leaves behind when moving. Although they can turn on survivors and creatures while they are growing, they are significantly easier to deal with. Every Domination Rex born is female, which mean it is incapable of having mate boost. Taming The Domination Rex cannot be found in the wild. To tame one, the survivor must engineer a Domination Rex Egg and raise the Domination Rex from biWeaponry Taking down a Domination Rex is not an easy feat. A lone survivor may find it beneficial to carry a Tek Rifle or a Tek Railgun. Since a Tek Railgun can deal heavy amounts of damage to a single creature, it is the ideal choice for killing a Domination Rex. The survivor should sufficiently distance themselves from the Domination Rex in order to ensure that the Domination Rex is not able to attack. Other weapons that can be utilized against a Domination Rex include an Assault Rifle or a Fabricated Sniper Rifle. Dangers The Domination Rex possesses a large Health pool and powerful Melee Damage, as well as camouflage and high Movement Speed.rth.General The Domination Rex is a formidable opponent in battle. An imprinted and leveled Domination Rex can prove quite dangerous, and in some situations, deadly. Its ability to camouflage similar to a Rock Drake coupled with its Movement Speed allows it to easily ambush enemies. The Domination Rex can also utilize its pin ability to instantly kill smaller creatures. Strategy The use of a leveled Giganotosaurus, a well bred Rex, or a Magmasaur may prove essential in the defeat of a Domination Rex. Using a Brachiosaurus is also a viable method, as their mega stomp attack can output large amounts of damage.

Citipati- The camouflaged egg thief and incubator
NotAtAllMalicious posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Hey there, fellow Ark players! I'm exited to present my submission for the amazing Citipati in this creature vote. I believe Citipati would make a fantastic addition to the game, or more specifically, Ragnarok, so let's dive into the details! Design and location: Citipati is a medium sized dinosaur slightly shorter than a Therizinosaurus, with a unique appearance. It stands upright, in a similar fashion to it's distant relative, the Gallimimus. With it's feathered body, it showcases vibrant and colorful plumage, adding a touch of beauty to Ragnarok. In terms of location, Citipati can be found roaming the deserts quite frequently, along with the grassy hill/ mountain around the wyvern trench and rarely in the canyon on the cliffs, making it a common sight scattered around the vast landscape of Ragnarok. Dossier: Wild: The Citipati is a fascinating dinosaur with remarkable behavior traits. Generally, it is not an aggressive creature, but it's demeanor changes drastically when it comes to protecting it's precious eggs. When approached by a potential threat, Citipati becomes extremely defensive and will not hesitate to pounce on anyone, or use it's sonic disorient to ward off anyone who dares encroach upon it's nesting grounds. Citipati is fiercely dedicated to it's eggs, never leaving them unattended. It stays within a close proximity of approximately 100 meters at all times, not even when chasing foes off, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of it's offspring. This level of commitment is unparalleled, and Citipati exhibits tremendous strength when defending it's nest. When intruders draw near, Citipati's protective instincts intensify, bolstering it's physical capabilities further. Domesticated: The tamed Citipati is an extraordinary creature that offers a variety of practical applications and utilities. Once tamed, it's unique abilities and characteristics make it a valuable asset in Ragnarok. Citipati's primary function revolves around it's exceptional talent for stealing wyvern eggs. Survivors can utilize it's stealthy nature, climbing skills and agility to infiltrate wyvern eggs without fear of retribution, as wyverns are not aggressive towards the Citipati. This extraordinary feat alone establishes the Citipati as an invaluable companion for those seeking to expand their collection of unique and powerful creatures. Abilities: Egg theft: Can pick up eggs without aggravating enemies and gets a 75 percent weight reduction on them Selective incubation: Can carry in it's arms a specific egg and incubate it Wall climbing: Can quickly scale a variety of surfaces, slide down them and jump from one wall to another Sonic Disorient: Can emit a powerful shriek, confusing enemies, and making them run away and occasionally attack other creatures Super jump: Can charge up a jump, and launch itself forward Biome-dependent camouflage: Color changes depending on what biome you are in, and when activated cuts aggression range from enemies in half I would love to hear your suggestions and ideas if you have any!-

Majungasaurus was a mid sized abelisauroid that lived in Madagascar from 70 to 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous Period. My Idea for majunga is to make it an chameleon like ambush predator(Basically the lost world novel carno) that can double as a taming buddy Its main utility would be its unique ability to camouflage into its surroundings. While invisible the majunga would be able to do a few helpful tricks 1st- When invisible the majunga gains access to a powerful charge up ambush attack that cancels your camouflage 2nd- If a camouflaged majunga can sneak close enough to a wild creature it will be able to read its stats using its chameleon like eyes not unlike HLNA can do in the genesis simulations 3rd- Over time the majunga will shed its skin which can be collected and applied to armor which gives survivors the ability to camouflage themselves As Always these are only my ideas for the creature and wildcard is most likely to ignore them for the most part should it win as it is a CREATURE vote instead of an IDEA vote And also feel free to add ideas in the replies i will check them and update the submission if i see any cool ideas but otherwise ima leave this pretty open ended ^ Accurate Majungasaurus Custom Art Done by Lapis Lazuli
