Right; I've run the map, gotten the new critters, and killed the bosses. With the map being out for a few days now I figure it's high time to probe everyone's brains on it as well as give my own two cents. First off the map is beautiful. By and large the best mod map in my opinion to have made it to official status. There's some obvious hiccups to be certain but it's overall quite pleasing to see that wildcard didn't pull a valguero or lost island and drag the map behind a back alley to gut it of content, it allows the original mod creator's love and passion to shine through clearly. Where the new creatures are concerned most of them are fun, though they do suffer a bit in some departments. The desmodus has definitely become my favorite flyer, it's quite tanky for a flyer when bred and it's utility as a blood harvester and elixir producer makes in incredibly useful, I'd even be as bold as to say it rattles the argentavis and its smithy saddle's status as most useful flyer. Sadly I can't seem to get its night vision to activate and have had other players express similar issues which stifles a bit of my love for it. The andrewsarchus is a solid and fun tame all around, quite beefy though a mid tier creature overall. Not too good; not too bad, this feeling may however stem from the fact that I dropped pvp for pve. The hawk is quite useful, however I can never safely take it off my shoulder outside of my base as it immediately flies off into the aether to presumably try and harvest something I killed god knows how far back in my travels unless I whistle for it to stop. Chances are there's a setting I need to change to stop that but I'll actually need to look into it. The fenrir as I've expressed in the past is a disappointment. Too much effort put in for what comes out. I've bred standard direwolves that vastly outstrip this creature for less than a tenth of the effort. Unless breeding is introduced to the fenrir it will sadly never be more than a status piece at best or a waste of a tame slot or cryopod at worst. Now that I've prattled on about my thoughts I'm curious, how do all of you feel?

I know we all really appreciate being able to vote on new creatures and getting new maps with new creatures added to them, etc. but after the crystal isles and lost island Bossfights I feel we have been a little spoiled and I have to ask… Can we please get similar boss battles for the Center, Ragnarok and Valguero? that and a true ending for scorched earth would really round out the legacy Content and make them feel a lot more complete and integrated into the game. Not to mention a lot more replayable. instead of making a bunch of suggestions I would rather just say, speaking for myself and probably many others, that we would really appreciate those boss battles and a scorched ending added and would have enough faith to just let you guys get creative with all the details of those. you never know. Being able to vote on creatures to add to each of those older maps, just one added because 2/3 already have a unique creature, that would save you guys a lot of time on putting a whole other map together and you could just implement the boss battles and the scorched ending with those creatures in the same patch. I believe even without a whole map that would still be quite an event. I would love that and I bet many other people would so hopefully you guys would consider it. Thank you for your time.

So ive been playing ark for a long time and keep having this issue. I always get wiped by someone who has impossibly high level dinos. For context me and my friend have been playing ark for about a week after a long break from the game on a PVP official island server. We were doing alright on the island but the server starter to get popular so we moved to an empty extinction server to set up a long-lasting base we could progress in without getting wiped. Things were going well but about 6 hours in someone on a space whale found our base and came back about an hour later with a level 430 lightning wyvern and instantly killed all of our tames including a max level crystal wyvern and leveled our metal base, destroying everything we had brought over from the island. Im not suprised and im well aware that this is just the way pvp is sometimes in ark but its challenging because there is no way our 2 man tribe can compete with the resources of any alpha tribe with dinos like these. I really want to keep playing pvp and ascend and complete the challenges the game has to offer but it is difficult when you are unable to even progress due to these kinds of raids. Im writing this hoping someone has a solution that will help us. I will continue to play ark but I wonder if ill ever even be able to fight a boss when players like this exist. TLDR: How do I stop getting wiped by overpowered cross-server raiders?

I think it would be nice to add those bosses to your implant after you defeat them, I know it makes no difference gameplay wise, but I think it would be nice to see them on there. I also get that Dinopithecus King and Wyvern Queen are technically Non-canon, but I still think it would be nice to see them as well on your implant. -

1. A config that can set boss minions on a certain level or cap them at official levels, ignoring the overrideofficialdifficulty. Boss minions on gamma broodmother are lvl 800 on overrideof.dif. 8, setting the ini to a certain value would either cap the boss minions to official or a certain level. 2. Another ini for how many minions spawn, percentage wise. Example 1.1: bCapBossMinionLevels=true/false for official levels Example 1.2: BossMinionLevelMultiplier=integer value clamped between 0.01 and 10, multiplier for the levels for boss minions on the set server difficulty. Example 2: BossMinionSpawnWeightMultiplier=integer value clamped between 0.01 and 10, lower than 1 means that less minions spawn. Why? More server configuration and gameplay customization, obviously. New players might want to have less minions, old players might want a new boss fighting experience with either less or more minions, easier or harder to beat. I believe that these configs would be used by many unofficial server admins as well as players who only play singleplayer.

I'm playing PvE on Valguero. The first time I did the gamma level attack and got 90 element, which is correct. I then did beta level but got 0. None of my Deinos died. I then did beta level a second time and only got 90, which is the amount you're supposed to get from killing Manticore, but I didn't get any from the other 2 bosses. What am I doing wrong? How can I ensure I get all the element from these boss attacks? None of my tames are dying, and i've checked all their inventory.

Hello i've been wondering about what to bring to the overseer boss fight on single player (single player settings are enabled) my current team is 10 therizino's and 1 yuty the theri's have 5k health and 300 melee and the yuty has 10k health. I have given the theri's veggie cakes to make things easier as for why i chose theri's over rex's is that they take less damage from the overseer's dragon form breath attack. My tek cave plan is to lure the giga's into the lava and brute force my way through everything else. Do i need to add anything else? Is there something i don't know about? any help would be greatly appreciated. edit: difficulty is 0.2 btw
