I was wondering if anyone wanted to join my server. Im on singleplayer rn but i can friend anyone on playstation and have them help me. I have easy rates on and i breeded a set of high level rexes with broken stats. I also have a high level yuty and and high level daeodon. I’ve beaten the spider and monkey, both on alpha difficulty. I would just like an extra set of hands to help me beat the last boss(es)

Dear Wildcard Devs, I am writing to report a significant issue with the Rockwell boss fight on Aberration that has been affecting hundreds. Since the release of the Lost Colony update, the Reapers appear to aggro and attack Rockwell. Also, the update seemed to trigger an infinite spawn of energy balls that makes the fight nearly impossible to complete. Aberration is my favorite map, and I’ve always enjoyed the grind to the boss. However, in its current state, I’m unable to progress. If this increase in difficulty was intended, an official announcement would be greatly appreciated; otherwise, please look into a fix for the AI targeting. Thank you for your time and for all the work you do on ARK. — A Dedicated Survivor

Allow boss dermises to be transferred to other servers.
SteveTheOtherSurvivor posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
The boss fight is the big finale of the traditional playthrough, the culmination of weeks (sometimes months) of effort and, occasionally, teamwork that solos and tribes alike undertake to beat what is often a minutes-long fight. But we can't take the dermis home with us as proof of our efforts. Sure, we can throw up a boss flag, but it's just not the same as having a genuine rogue's gallery. Let the players on official take the dermis home with them. -
“When the snow starts to move against the wind, it’s already too late.” Overview: It’s the Blizzard’s Apex Hunter—the storm’s will made flesh. Rex tier pack fighters that can take down, bosses, Gigas & Carchas with coordinated latch attacks. Coat changes by biome — vibrant in forests, white in snow, translucent in blizzards. Unique tame: earn its trust by out-stalking the stalker and proving yourself the better hunter. PvP: stealth ambusher that disables tames and vanishes in storms. PvE: boss-viable; blizzard buffs empower allies and cripple enemies. Designed for the Genesis 1 Arctic Biome, Panthera acutidens embodies the storm itself—an ancient predator evolved to rule the whiteout. Agile enough to scale mountains, strong enough to cripple titans, and intelligent enough to outthink survivors, it’s not merely a creature of the cold. Time Period: Early Pleistocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Territorial / Calculating Habitat: Genesis 1 — Arctic Biome —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wild When the tundra falls silent before a storm, it’s not the weather survivors should fear—it’s the predator moving within it. Panthera acutidens, known as the Blizzard’s Apex Hunter, is an Ice Age relic reborn in Ark’s frozen frontier. Its coat adapts fluidly to the environment. In temperate biomes, it bears rich tawny and silver hues, sometimes with faint ghostly striping or iridescent undertones. In the snow, its colors drain to pale greys and whites, leaving it nearly indistinguishable from its surroundings. But when the blizzard begins, the transformation is mesmerizing—its fur refracts the storm’s light, turning the predator into a semi-transparent, ice-veiled apparition. Even apex predators like the Giganotosaurus tread carefully when a storm rolls in—for the blizzard itself may hide this spectral hunter. Packs working in unison are capable of bringing down even the largest beasts on the Ark. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Habitat & Spawn Logic Found exclusively in the Genesis 1 Arctic Biome, Panthera acutidens prowls the frozen forests and glacial valleys where few other predators dare to roam. Normal Spawns: Common near the Snow Dome, frozen lakes, and conifer valleys beneath glacial cliffs. Appears most frequently during or shortly after natural blizzards. Prefers low-visibility terrain; uses snow and ice for cover. Typically solitary or in pairs, though rare packs of 3–5 may form near herds of Mammoths or Rhinos. Alpha Variant: Extremely rare, limited to one Alpha per Arctic region. Spawns only during or after a natural blizzard event. Easily identified by its faint blue glow and icy vapor trail. Unbreedable — each Alpha is a unique, natural phenomenon. Possesses a permanent Glacial Focus Aura and enhanced stats. Taming — “Trial of the Ghost” This predator cannot be subdued through violence; it must choose you through a test of respect and patience. Track the Beast Locate fresh tracks and deep growls, visible only during active snowstorms or using a Tracking Node. The Offering Hunt Slay one of its preferred prey—Mammoth, Woolly Rhino, or Megaloceros—without alerting the acutidens. Leave the carcass untouched. Outstalk the Hunter As it approaches to feed, crouch and stay downwind. Maintain visual contact without being spotted until trust builds. The Submission Moment Once it lowers its head with a growl, approach slowly and mount. Survive the thrashing trial to earn its bond. Alpha Trial Attempting the ritual during a natural blizzard risks summoning an Alpha Panthera acutidens—a frost-veiled variant of nearly mythical power. Exceptionally hard to tame. Gains permanent Glacial Focus Aura. Slightly larger than normal. Cannot breed. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Domesticated Once tamed, Panthera acutidens becomes more than a mount—it’s a predator partner that reads the battlefield like instinct itself. Agile, calculating, and impossibly precise, it thrives where visibility fails. It doesn’t rely on brute force; it dominates through speed, agility, and control. Many survivors call it the perfect apex hunter—capable of outmaneuvering flyers, scaling cliffs, and vanishing into the storm mid-charge. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Abilities & Combat Role Arctic Grace (Passive Movement) Among the most agile land mounts on the Ark. Can pivot on the spot and maintain momentum mid-turn. Side-steps, strafes, and backpedals without losing speed. Climbs cliffs and frozen slopes effortlessly. Immune to fall damage when landing on ice or snow. Gains +10% movement speed and stamina efficiency in snow biomes. “It doesn’t chase prey—it dances around it.” Predator Latch System Leap to latch onto prey using claws and body weight. Small/Medium creatures: instantly pinned and immobilized. Large creatures (Rex, Carcha, Giga): each acutidens applies a Grip Pressure stack. At 3 stacks, the target suffers Crushed Knees: –25% movement speed –15% damage output Unable to attack for 6 seconds (fully pinned) PvE: Neutralizes Alpha predators or boss minions. PvP: Disables tames and riders for precision takedowns. Enough of them together can pin a Giganotosaurus to the ground. Spirit of the Glacier (Active — C Key) Unleashes a localized blizzard (60m radius) for 2 minutes. Ability also activates automatically during natural blizzards. While in a Blizzard (natural or summoned): Coat turns white; Ghost Veil activates automatically. Allies gain Glacial Focus (+20% damage reduction, +15% melee). Enemies suffer Frost Fatigue (–20% attack speed, –15% movement). Visibility reduced for enemies. Panthera acutidens gains 25% stamina efficiency and +10% movement speed. Boss-legal; ability registered as environmental weather, not a bleed. Cooldown: 90s. Duration: 20s aura / 2min storm. Ghost Veil (Stealth/Invisibility) Shadowmane-style shimmer — light bends like refraction through ice. Automatically triggers in snow biomes or during blizzards. Manually toggleable outside snow (15s duration, 60s cooldown). Movement doesn’t break invisibility; attacking does. First strike from cloak triggers Cryo Shockwave, freezing enemies for 3s. Adaptive Camouflage (Environmental Coloration) Temperate / Forest biomes: vibrant tawny, copper, or silver coat with faint striping. Snow biomes: colors fade into soft white-grey, blending nearly perfectly with frost. Active blizzards: coat refracts light, producing a semi-transparent ice effect distinct from Ghost Veil’s invisibility. Combined, the two create an almost invisible predator, visible only as distortion and faint glowing eyes. Normal Snow Biome “Its colors don’t just match the snow—they vanish into it.” Blizzard Pack Instinct +5% damage reduction per allied acutidens nearby (max 25%). Alpha variant grants permanent Glacial Focus Aura to allies. Aura appears as a faint icy mist and blue glow in eyes. Passive Traits Trait Effect Thermoregulated Hide Immune to cold debuffs; 50% reduced stamina drain in snow. Predator’s Composure Immune to fear, stun, and knockback during Spirit of the Glacier. Cold-Blooded Resilience 30% reduced food and stamina drain during blizzards. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Saddle — “Hunter’s Mantle” Crafting Level: 94 Crafting Station: Fabricator Forged from the hides and bones of the creatures it conquers, the Hunter’s Mantle fuses primal camouflage with refined armorcraft. Saddle Materials Material Quantity Woolly Rhino Hide (Hide) 450 Mammoth Pelt (Pelt) 180 Sabertooth Bone (Keratin) 150 Megaloceros Antler (Wood) 100 Crystal 120 Metal Ingot 100 Fiber 400 Saddle Features: Base Armor: 25 Auto-adaptive camouflage for the saddle in snow biomes to match the dino. Wolf-fur trim diffuses outline, reducing visibility by 50%. +100 Hypothermal insulation for rider and mount. Crouch Cloak: standing still activates a partial fur shroud. No Element or Tek required. Crafted from the Arctic’s fallen, the mantle allows predator and rider to vanish as one. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lore Note “Panthera acutidens doesn’t just survive blizzards—it commands them. When it roars, the storm itself seems to kneel. Even the Gigas don’t challenge it once the snow turns white and the air starts to hum.” — Helena Walker, Ascended Records – Arctic Sector 3 PvE & PvP Summary Mode Role Highlights PvE Apex ambusher / support Blizzard synergy boosts team; Crushed Knees disables Alphas and bosses.
