Deinocheirus "Terrible Claw" aka the Scorched Earth God
Sasquatch69 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Update: I have recently learned that the person behind the Ark Additions mod is close to finishing a Deinocheirus for his mod and it will be releasing soon, for his benefit dont upvote. I guess us console players gotta wait until august then Description and Abilities: In my opinion ark deserves a more powerful multi purpose creature, so let me introduce the Deinocheirus. The grand idea for Deinocheirus is more of a mid to late game tame for scorched earth that could be a beneficial due to the maps harsh climate and hostile creatures. This creature's most crucial feature will be its thick fur/feathering, which will provide the rider with an insulation buff as well as providing a natural damage resistance to the creature (nothing to broken probably 20-25%) but will provide heavy resistance towards wyvern breath attacks. If it come into contact with water it will produce a hydration buff that greatly reduces the need to drink. Another feature would be 3 separate attacks that provide 3 different purposes: 1. Bite: a pretty standard attack that can harvest berries/fibre from bushes, thatch from trees and hide from bodies. 2. Claw swipe: a more brutal attack that can cause bleed (even to bosses) as well as having wood and meat harvesting capabilities. 3. Body slam: An extremely powerful attack with a cool down that Involves a jump and a wwe style move that deals massive damage, stun, aswell as dismounting. Its two final abilities will be a weight reduction for harvested items and the longer it runs the more speed it picks up. For the size I believe being slightly bigger than the Allosaurus should be a fair bet. Behaviour and Taming: The behaviour for a wild Deinocheirus should be similar to that of the dire bear, passive for a few moments than extremely aggressive with the intention of killing. The Taming for this creature should be passive and requires a certain animation to interact. The general idea is it will wonder for a while and proceed to sit it will open its mouth and start panting, once this happens you walk up to it and feed it water to hydrate it, the colder the water the greater the effectiveness. Location: The location of this creature will be around or near the green obelisk since its a nice beautiful area, with the added bonus of an alpha variant that spawns out in the dunes of the desert. With that all said and done, Good luck to all the creature submissions.- 12 replies

Dossier Species: Styracosaurus Fortitudo Wild: I have heard tales of the Styrachosaurus during my travels through the desert, and having encountered a heard of them in the wild I can safely say that the stories are all true. This ceratopsid, despite being smaller than Triceratops, is remarkably strong and hardy! I've seen a juvinile dislodge a fallen rock three times its size to unblock a stream, knock over tree for a morning snack, and even overturn a small house just to get to the roots under the foundation, nothing seems to slow this stocky creature down! Even local predators seem to stay clear, out of fear of getting gored on its enlongated nasal horn, or perhaps this animal's mere presance is enough to encourage them to give this otherwise docile herbivore a wide berth? Domesticated: They may be short in stature, but their high weight tolerance and strong will make them ideal companions for hauling resources through the hot sands of this hellscape. Their spiky horns are a natural repeleant for smaller predators, and even if a battle was not avoidable it is more than capable of holding its own. The only downside to taming a Styracosaurus i would say, is... Cleaning up the mess after said battle. Be it rain, sun, or sandstorm, Styracosaurus is loyal to the very end. Taming: Interstingly, the styracosaurus in the wild is surprisibly shy around humans. But they can be swayed with its favorite food of Cacti. although you can knock it out if the need arises, though Survivors have seen much more sucess simply by hand feeding the animal. Just don't make any sudden moves, less you frighten it away. In game: Yes I know there's already a Skin (and a mod) for Styracosaurus. But Two things. Firstly We don't know if the model for said skin is even going to be in the remaster, or what skins will make it over at all for that matter. And Two, I'm yet to see any word that Kraken will port over their mod to the remaster. and even if they did we still got issue one to deal with in the fact we might not have the OG model to work with anymore. So I'm making this suggestion for the vote (doubt it will get far, kiddos don't like herbivores). My idea for Styracosaurus is for it to have an absurd amount of weight reduction, As I'm not entirely sure if anything in Scorched earth has it... and if there is then there's not many of them. It will also have a Charge attack like the Trike, but ublike our three horned friend, Styracosaurus will inflict bleed instead of knockback. This will become more potent on larger foes, and because why not it can also stack. It will be ridable, but the majority of its stats will be less than that of trikes, even being smaller in size. And as the dossier suggests, it's a passive tame, it will feed on cacti (or just the sap if not possible to add a new plant) to soften up to the one taming it, but survviors can't run or have too high movement speed or else it will scamper off, it CAN be knocked out (and tamed though such means like the diplo) but it will aggro if attacked. Also, I'd like to add that we have only TWO ceratopsians, in a game that has an unhealthy obsession with carnivore submissions that either "HAVE TO BE BIGGER THAN T-REX luls", Are identical to another creature, or already ARE a well known modded creature. We already had like 4 carnivores added in a row, let the veggi eaters have a turn in the spotlight.

Coahuilaceratops(The Rhino of the Cretacious)
Atomical posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
General facts Coahuilaceratops(Ornithischia). The rhino of the late Cretaceous. Lived in Coahuila Mexico, hence the name. it was a relatively small ceratopsian Measuring at 6ft tall and 22 ft long . However don't judge its size too early. It was estimated to have 4ft long horns for both male and female species. Which they primarily used for display and for "sparring". And its broad legs allowed it to move swiftly. it would normally hang out in packs of 3. Behavior Its behavior is fairly territorial and will fight anything that gets in their territory. However when its alone it is cautious and it will show its curriosity towards humans (who have no weapon out) Taming it should be a passive tame allowing it to earn your trust by chucking honey in front of it repeatedly . until you can feed it passively at this point you should tame it normally. And once tamed you should be able to unlock It at lvl 60 or so (please feel free to change it as needed) Abilities in Ark Coahuilaceratops will be able to harvest wood and thatch efficiently with a weight reduction of about 1/4 on wood. And it will have a decent weight capacity of around (600) for a 150 tame. And it should have a ramming Charge that you will have to charge up that will impale small-medium sized creatures and then (Automatically) flinging them off causing Impaling bleed and a 9 second stamina drain. And for larger creatures it should have a headbutt that goes from down to up headbutt should deal the same dammage as the charge roughly 250 or more damage for a (150 tame) with no levels into melee. inflicting a 9 second stamina drain with a 4 second gnashing effect (no Slow down). (Note Stamina drain won't affect bosses). And for crowd control it should have a stunning back kick attack that causes medium damage roughly 150 (with no Levels). And for the health it should have roughly 7,000 or more for a base 150 tame. Purpose in the meta This is the first stamina draining dino that has ever been brought to Ark. And I feel like it could be good for pvp. For support in taking down bigger dinos allowing you to help your allies to push the front against an army. And with imprints it could be a decent choice for boss runs. And Ark really really needs stronger herbivores and I think it could be the perfect balance. in cave running, boss fights, and tribe wars.-

Name: Moros Intrepidus Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Moros Intrepidus is part of tyrannosauroidea (Tyrant lizard forms), which is a group that consists of tyrannosauridae and coelurosaurians. Moros Intrepidus stood at about 5 feet tall and weighed 170 lbs and is one of the smallest dinosaurs of its kind. Moros Intrepidus means 'Harbinger of doom'. A lone or pack of Moros is no joke, and live up to their name. You are best to bring a good tame and weaponary to take down this foe or foes. In order to domesticate a Moros Intrepidus, it needs to be netted or hit with a chain bola and fed narcotic to knock it out. To tame one, a wild Moros is a picky eater once subdued, eating only Shadow Steak Saute. Once you have it tamed, you got yourself a fearsome, little tyrannosaur at your disposal. On the arks, Moros Intrepidus is a mixture of all sorts of large Carnivores, making it an invaluable tame. Abilities- Moros Intrepidus is great at running, making it an invaluable tame to traverse the arks with. They are pack animals and each pack consists up of two Moros. In battle, Moros Intrepidus can bite fairly quickly being able to produce a large amount damage in a short period of time. When it is in a pack, it is able to bleed out its target, much like that of an Allosaurus, courage roar for small to medium tames, much like that of a Yutyrannus, buffing its allies, and a health regeneration bonus from corpses like an Argentavis. Talk about an all rounder!
