I own/breed slime molds such as Physarum Polycephalum So slime molds is a misnomer... They are not molds they are an amoeboid like creature. They even grow flagellas when submerged in water. They gets the name molds because the reproduce in a similar fashion as fungi (forming a mushroom like stalk which produces spore (like) vessels for the baby amoebas. These stalks are often carried off by ants which eat the stalks. Which is how I think they should be breed ants having a percentage chance to drop spores which can be grown into slime molds. Slimes are actually really intelligent despite not having any neurons. They can solve mazes by laying down a mucus which they can use chemotaxis to determine where it has been. They kind of try every possible combination of paths until they reach the end of the maze... And then rearrange itself in the most efficient way. Which is why I think they would be great for something like lock picking/ pin cracking or even disabling tek (In the 2 images above researcher in Tokyo made a petri dish map of Tokyo. The placed food at all of the subway stations. And the placed physarum Polycephalum at Tokyo station and watched it spread. The next day it had rearranged itself in a more efficient way than Tokyo's actual subway system) I also think it would be cool to see if you feed them element shards or dust or be in radiation their mucus would change and become a mutagen farm. In lab study's they've found that they do not like light heat or salt because they are mostly water and would dehydrate. However they can gain resistances to these things over time so maybe a leveling system like the moschops /theri to gain resistances (The center slime mold has learned to be resistant to the salt block Infront of it... But slimes can also share their adaptations by joining with other slimes) Another interesting feature of the slime molds is they can survive with out water for up to 2 years by creating a cyst around itself and harden on the outside til water is available is why I think it should be a shoulder pet it could act as an armor by hardening... Could act as a radiation suit (given that some microorganisms can eat radiation) or a scuba suit ( given that it can grow flagellas it could increase swim speeds) I think that it would also be cool if attacks a player it can act as hand cuffs Slime molds such as Physarum Polycephalum are also excellent hunters mostly eating plants and fungus so they could gather the various mushroom types https://youtu.be/1PIFbS-wQVE while they are not extinct slime molds have been around for 600 million years so definitely prehistoric origins (Source: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/brainless-slime-molds/#:~:text=Compared with most organisms%2C slime,or even simple nervous systems. )

Cute, hard shelled sand crab that'll cuddle your shoulder once old enough and add armor while doing it. Too small to have established themselves in the Ark's food chain it has taken to the dietary habits of a parasite. It's health pool is tied to the 'durability' of the armor it provides, while the food stat adds more armor value. As the wearer takes damage so too will the Sand Crab and be forced to feed on the wearer to repair the 'durability' of the armor. A higher melee stat will cause the Sand Crab to repair damage to itself more rapidly (at the cost of more damage to the Host, or rapid consumption of carried blood bags). The more the Sand Crab feeds on the Host... the more it will grow and cover more parts of the Hosts body slowly replacing any equipped armor until the entire body is covered in the fully matured Sand Crab (each growth stage for consumes a new slot, removing gear). Additionally, the longer a Sand Crab spends on a Host, the more the bond between them will increase yielding a more durable Sand Crab (imprinting bonus). Matured Sand Crabs will also reproduce several offspring from one egg sack when bred in captivity. Pros: Armor that scales somewhat radically with some care. Repairs itself (with blood). Nightmare fuel. Cons: Can kill you/itself like the Bloodstalker. Lose the ability to carry a shoulder pet or equip armor in affected slots. It can't wear a helm. It provides no insulation.

^All Art is done by Lapis Lazuli and Dossier is edited by Mihael Common Name :Majungasaurus Species : Majungasaurus absconditus Time : Late Cretaceous Diet : Carnivorous Temperament :Opportunistic WILD: Majungasaurus absconditus is quite the interesting theropod. While most of the creatures of the ark look different to their real life counterparts, majungasaurus seems to have evolved to fit into a new niche in the arks ecosystem. It seems to have adapted many traits from modern day chameleons including the ability to change their skin color to camouflage into their surroundings. Many survivors often talk about how they feel like there's something always watching them just from the treeline out of sight and from my studies I believe that majungasaurus may be the culprit. They seem to have a higher intelligence than most creatures on the ark and are very curious by nature. Domesticated: A tamed majungasaurus however is a scientist's best friend. These creatures can be used to sneak up on and study even the most dangerous of animals and can even help find certain desired traits in wild creatures. And for those who would rather venture out on their own, some survivors have figured out how to modify their armor with the shedded scales of majungasaurus to give them limited camouflage. Taming: To tame a majungasaurus you must gain its trust by crafting structures and other trinkets to appease its curiosity. The higher quality item the less taming effectiveness is lost. Taming 2: To tame a majungasaurus you must gain its trust by feeding into its cannibalistic tendencies. You must kill and bring other majungasaurus to the target majunga Stat Reading: While camouflaged on a majunga you are able to sneak up on unsuspecting creatures. If you're able to get close enough your majunga will be able to act like a primitive HLNA from the genesis maps and read out the base stats of said creature. Camouflage Armor: As the majunga sheds its skin, survivors will be able to gather leftover scales and apply it to their armor to gain the majungas ability to camouflage. However unlike majunga survivors will only be able to camouflage while standing completely still. Combat: The majunga isn't really much of a fighter so it only has a basic bite attack that does around the same damage as a carno. Size: The Majunga would be around the size of Megalosaurus ingame which would allow it to be a new caving creature since we haven't gotten anything capable of caving in a long time. Suggestions from Replies: Getting a buff when eating another Majunga Eat other tamed Majungas when it gets low on hunger Main Attack does bonus damage if used while invisible (brings majunga out of invisibility)

herbivore Argentinosaurus Huiculensis - THE APEX CARNIVORE COUNTER
SNA posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Name: Argentinosaurus Huiculensis Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Dossier: Argentinosaurus is a tyrannosaurid sauropod accustomed to life among members of its own species, which means that it is more than prepared to face packs or groups of creatures that seek to disturb the peace of the enormous sauropod. Don't get to close if you don't want one of his legs on you. The Argentinosaurus Huiculensis specimen found on the ARK is slightly larger than usual, being the herbivore equivalent of the two largest predators on the ARK. Argentinosaurus has the ability to disarm coordinated attacks by dealing a strong whiplash with its tail to the enemy creature, causing enormous confusion and making it impossible to distinguish between a friendly creature and an enemy creature. Tameable: yes Rideable: yes Breedable: yes (same time as a Quetzal or Yuty) Abilities: -Primary attack: Just hit with one of his front legs (the leg who moves depends if the objective are at right or left) -Secundary Attack : Argentinosaurus will put in his back legs and charge a devastating hit with his front legs (while the creature is in his back legs he could move his body in 360° like the Spino) -"Pack predator counter" or special Attack : When two or more Argentinosaurus are in a same group the higher lever will be able to make a whip tail attack (like a pack leader buff) this will turn in a "rage effect" the first enemy predator that he hits for 10s, similar as the Giga Rage (this effect will make the Dino turn back and attack any thing in his visual camp, including ally creatures and riders, this ability was a cooldown of 80s). This "confusion" or "rage" effect can be activated on any carnivore creature. Armor: When Argentinosaurus gets a hit will auto activate his armor, this armor are the equivalent of a metal wall (hp10k). This very strong armor protect the Argentinosaurus from bleeding attacks and reduce the received damage in 20% (except proyectiles, explosives, turrets). This armor is an adaptation for his wild life style it means that his armor are not prepared for modern weapons. This armor can be destroyed/disabled with explosives and tek munition (turrets, tek rifles, tek grenades, etc). And only can be regenerated after 10min with no damage revived, if Argentinosaurus gets hit his armor regeration will stop. This armor could be represented as a blue light that covers the Argentinosaurus body with some shards of armor to complement the "illusion*of an armor Domesticated: To tame the Argentinosaurus fist we have to show our dominance. First we have to broke his armor, then reduce his health to 50% or less and then fire him with tranq darts until he gets unconscious, will need a great amount of it so prepare yourself. It is important to know that this creature needs to stay close to other Argentinosaurus for at least 1 hour every 48 hours, if these requirements are not met, the probability that the Argentinosaurus will not pay attention to your commands will increase. (commands such as attack, mate or follow) If this point is reached, it is enough to bring the Argentinosaurus closer to another member of its same species, after which a 2-hour countdown will appear, if the Argentinosaurus remains accompanied during this time it will once again be obedient to your orders. Saddle: (CONCEPT IN THE COMMENTS) Argentinosaurus platform saddle will count hit a protected "cabin" for the rider and a turret in the middle for the saddle that can be used by another survivor, this "cabin" protects the rider from being dismounted (as the Andrewsarchus). Can be learned at level 95 and will have a cap armor in 75 Wild lvl 1 and lvl 150 stats: HP: 5500 - 15000 aprox Stamina: 300 - 1200 aprox Oxigen: 400- 800 aprox Food: 6670 - 15700 aprox Weight: 800 - 2300 aprox Melee: 100 - 270 aprox Speed movement: 100 - 100- 2 replies

Hylaeosaurus Custos - The Sleep Gas Hethin
Crawdacity posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Hylaeosaurus belonged to the Cretaceous Period. Hylaeosaurus Custos means the Guardian Lizard Belonging to the Forest. Hylaeosaurus would get a buff to it's melee damage and health when in a forest. Hylaeosaurus would also be able to produce a sleep gas made from narco berries, spoiled meat, and and a compound it obtains when eating berries. This sleep gas is released from tubes on the sides of its body, below the spines. W.I.P.-

solar panel The Great mighty Stegouros
PrettyBroom7921 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Like its close relative the ankylosaurus stegourus is a great armoured dinosaur however its very aggressive and will try to fight almost anything. Stegourus tail is no joke it can cut any tree making it a great wood collector and fighter if its tail ever hits a dinosaur they will bleed out uncontrollably and if you think a large dino would easily tack it out well you’ll be sorely wrong if it ever hits the creatures leg the large creature will become crippled making it impossible to escape. Stegourus name means roofed tail and its tail is like a solar panel charging with the suns heat and when fully charged it will never run out of stamina, will become faster, and will do 3x damage however this doesn’t work during night. In order to tame stegourus you must wait till night for the dinosaur to fall asleep then you must feed the creature by hand but this is easier said than done because stegourus loves to move in its sleep and if you accidentally touched it, it will wake up and fight you. you will need to wait for the next night to start again as it won’t fall asleep again. it will also wake up if a threat is near. -
The Barbary Lion, the gladiators of a bygone era
SkyGuy posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
I believe the Barbary Lion would be a great addition to ARK, while we do have the Shadowmane and the Sabertooth. The Lion would be different as it would be around thyla size and be able to jump somewhere between saber and thyla. Males would have a Mane and females wouldn’t. Spawning: They would spawn in prides including a male maybe a few females and a few cubs and they would have a pride boost. They would be somewhat rare spawns as they are pretty much extinct. They would spawn in desert and mountainous areas. They would probably be most prominent on scorched earth. I think the cubs should spawn the same that wyverns and Tek Dino’s do a little higher lvl than difficulty and the others should spawn up to your difficulty level. Abilities: RT would be a normal bite LT would be a bite that does bleed only able to do so with a pride like an allo. The male would have a roar that would buff the pride and the female able to sniff out corpses like a dire wolf. It would also ignore armor with the bleed bite. Taming: If you find a pride there would be a male and at least one female and a cub. You would have to kill the male knockout the female take her milk like a wyvern and cubnap the cub. And when it grows to juvenile it will eat meat. I’m not really sure if this is balanced or not so feel free to comment. I’m also not very good at artwork so here is something from Reddit. -
TLC humans, Structures, and more Armor options
Piperthebrat posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions Archive
Is there any chance of a human TLC pass, updating the old models and animations with something fresher, maybe add in npc tribes you can befriend or attack? I'm aware that there are mods currently, but most are outdated and at any point the mod creators can let it die, so it'd be great to see them added into the game without mods. It'd be cool to befriend (tame) npc tribes, maybe even get quests from some, kinda like how you can get quests in genesis. While this would be more suited for PVE or Singleplayer, it would really change up how the game feels. Structures could use a TLC pass as well, They could look so much better based on other games related to ark, Arkitect Structures (atlas) mod is a must have imo when playing because it all just looks soo good, especially thatch and stone tiers. Another idea is armor skins or just new armor, like NPC humans i'm aware there are mods currently, but it'd be so much better to have these as part of the game, rather then depending on a mod. More primitive styled armors, kinda like we saw in the ark 2 cinematic or outfits like you'd find in atlas or dark and light would add more variety to the style of the game. They could share the same armor levels as current tiers, or as skins just give more style variety to survivors. I just see the potential ark still has and how the modding scene can continue to inspire devs with adding content into the game itself and It always sucks when a mod stops being updated and abandoned when it makes ark more enjoyable. All of these would be great to consider going forward into the future, keeping Ark1 fresh interesting as Ark2 proceeds forward. And if the rumors about UE5 updates to ark are true, this would be a perfect time to do things such as this. Have Funsies! -
I know that in the ark there is a great chance of finding a great variety of extinct phauma but it never crossed my mind thearchaeoindris, larger as is to be expected in ark creatures but now I can study how they lived, their kinship with gorillas and sloths. With the gorillas and sloths of central South America, unlike the lemurs I knew, small, slippery and their funny way of fighting of who smells like the archaeoindris imposes respect with its size and violence if necessary. despite being a hervibore he will occasionally eat insects because like all lemurs indris loves his hygiene more than I do mine and uses some insects as repellent. This causes a symbiotic relationship with megatheriums as when there in the same area the megatheriem would find insects then would find a archaeoindris to make insect repellent for the archaeoindris. In return the archaeoindris would use insects so they can mash it to a substance. When a megatherium consumes this it goes into a more powerful form than just killing bugs without the archaeoindris. It is also not tameable in this state and will kill everything except the archaeoindris and it's group. Apparently this giant lemur is unique because they are not that good of climbers, I guess because of its large size and its evolution to adapt in living on the ground. but i've seen some indris manage to leap from tree to tree without the need to climb, not forgetting that they have very strong legs, like all lemurs, and that they have very strong legs. Commonly they are seen leaping on to thylas and causing them to fall out of trees. You will normally find groups of archaeoindris of 1 male and several females in jungle or forest biomes, if you come across a group of them the male is usually decisive. If he sees you as a threat, nuisance, or you don't offer food or play. he will not hesitate to attack you to protect the females as they are excellent wet nurses for his species. besides these lemurs have a gripping force that can grab you and your tame depanding on there size. Instant death from what i have been told (look on the bright side, only the male is the only one that will attack you) but if you stand still without looking him in the eyes he will allow you to walk through his territory, apparently it is a kind of respect between them. (I don't recommend you try to put him to sleep with narcotic arrows or darts because by ingesting a lot of insects they have developed immunity to any kind of narcotic. Tamed: Apparently only the males are the first to take the step to be tamed because if you try to tame a female she will ignore you as she only obeys her male alpha. Once the archaeoindris has allowed you to be close to his group by destroying stone structures, very carefully approach him and offer him dung beetle carcasses. With also using bug repellent as if you don't it takes that as a insult to it's hygiene and will attack you, if doing whats said he will take them and rub his body with them, enjoying it and thanking you. Once you tame him, the group of females that are with him will attack him as they no longer recognize him as the alpha. To tame the females you have to arrive with another group of archaeoindris and kill their male with your archaeoindris, by doing so you will not just 1 tamed female, but more than 2! (watch out when you have that duel the other male will have a 30% damage reduction buff). Apparently in this ark there was a cell of Gaius Nerva's legion that made a small army of archeoindris, I can tell by the armored mount they made and the flag (fortunately I got the blueprint of it), who would say that giant lemurs were excellent in combat, you know what they say: we are good at things we didn't know. well I don't have words to describe what I saw when another hostile tribe attacked them, but I'm sure it reminds me of a fantasy troll movie.the archaeoindris is unstoppable because it has a brutal gripping force that killed the enemies in an instant when it took the enemies in an instant by grabbing it with his hand. not to mention how brutal he is with the mangual he uses in his other hand. He is capable of destroying metal structures as if they were paper! and the most terrifying thing is his roar that makes the other allied creatures ignore the pain and keep on fighting, simply this lemur is incredible and brutal. *skills: - deadly grapple: the archaeoindris has a grappling force capable of taking out small enemies instantly like the noglin when it leaves a host, including survivors but it will be a very concentrated move that will need a little more time than normal (we know how hard it is to move a corpse so the archaeoindris will never let go of the enemy until you ask it to). - normal grab: it will be able to grab small creatures and survivors with its hand to capture. - throw it: it will be able to throw allies or enemies with its grip causing them to die from the fall. - flail brutality: it will swing the enemie or there tame and also slam them rapidly on the ground till death. he has his mangual, a deadly war weapon with 3 levels of power, when you raise a bar like shadowmane he will move you to the next level with another set of moves. to the next level with another set of brutal moves, at level 3 it does damage to metal structures and tek giving you the feeling of using a small mek. level 1: solid and direct but slow hits level 2: faster blows and intense combinations level 3: the adrenaline of the archaeindris is at its peak, metal structures and tek are bulnerable, every 3rd hit is a stun hit, dismount automatically. - flail grab: use the flail as a bolas and catch medium creatures (including flying ones) (but you can't use the flail while doing that). - forget the pain, keep fighting: possesses a great war cry that cancels all disadvantages caused by enemies to nearby allies and also buffs them (like fear, bleeding, etc). -great jumps: jumps from wall to wall or tree to tree to reach a target. passive: - the more damage he receives from bleeding, the more damage he will do. - attach a banner to your mount and it will offer a 20% xp increase. - when you face another archaeoindris the resistance increases by 15%. - resistance to poison, narcotics, toxins(bio toxin) of 60%. - if you get shot by weapons the stamina will be reduced slowly - when you have l50% health, they will not be able to dismount you. male skills: -bigalow: the male is the only one able to tame other females. -Consumer: this is when a male swallows any firearm ammo and when needed it will shoot the ammo of choice that will inflict torpor you can even double the torpor of a tranq dart if swallowed. female abilities: big mama: offer her food and she will atomatically take care of the offspring (only of her species) by carrying them on her back (it is necessary to remove the mount). super big mama: offer her superior kibble and she will automatically imprint her offspring (but the time will be longer). The armor of the archaeoindris can be made in the blacksmith shop. They are able the full set of flake armor with their saddle. You are also able to shoot off there back. pvp/pve utility: - they may have a reliable amount of health but the damage they have is devastating, take them on quests or even to the boss! Also has a berserker mode when it gets low you can't control them when in this state but you are not dismounted and they will fight till death. - make the role playing game of your dreams! lord of the rings style use the archaeoindris in battle! - use the archaeoindris to tame grypon, tropeo and others by trapping them with his weapon. The weapons they are able to use are: Chain bolas, bear trap and large bear trap, grenades, spear bolts, cannon balls, wood club, sword, and metal and riot shield. - finish off your enemies and take his body to a safe place to take everything he has!
