As ark survival ascended is growing and unleashing more and more features, Dino’s and maps all the time I think it would be great to have some suggestions for what the community thinks should be added to make the game more fun, user friendly and more enjoyable. I think a great addition to Ark Survival Ascended would be some sort of mobile app that you can connect to servers official and non official. This is an idea that comes from the game “Rust” and I think that a similar system would really help players when not on the game. The main goal of this app would be to provide players with data about the server, information about the tribe (such as players online, tribe logs ect) Dino raising information (Current maturity, next imprint, stats, food in inventory and many more helpful bits of information) The app could also be connected to tek troughs so the player is aware of how much food is left. The amount of stuff this app could have is endless and would definitely help a large majority of players who can’t be on the game at all times of the day as these players would know if they need to quickly log on and feed Dino’s, fill generators, tend to hatched eggs and many other useful features. A good idea to keep the app fair is to make it need a crafted item (like a antenna) and power to connect the server to your app.

For aberration i whish that basilisks get the love and attention they deserve in form of a tlc to make them breedable. They are so unique and cool creatures and i really dont see why they shouldnt be breedable

I've been looking around quite a bit and haven't found anything definitive yet about Dino stats and the maximum Dino level in ASA on Official servers. Does anyone know if they made any actual changes to the broken dinosaur leveling system? Do Dinosaurs disappear above level 450 like they did in ASE? Or does it stop you from putting level-up points in at 450 like at the end of ASE? Is a negative mutation still necessary to breed mutations beyond the regular 20 per side, or is that fixed and now we're stuck with 20 mutations per parent side like it appears it was originally intended? Do we still need to wipe useless stats in order to be able to maximize the effectiveness of our Dinos? If there is an official post about this subject please point me in the right direction.

I was able to log in just before getting the most recent updates for client and server (32.24) but now when I attempt to log into my dedicated server (hosted locally) I get the error "Joining Failed Unknown Error". Has anyone else run into this with their dedicated server, starting recently?

With the upcoming ASA update of Scorched Earth I'm proposing to include some additional Biomes as a GIFT to the player base. Here are some ideas and hope Wild Card can include this, fingers crossed. ☺️ Death Valley / Bone Yard / Graveyard Biome Tar Pits Biome (has Toxic gasses and Tarpit traps) Geyser Fields Biome Underground Ruined City Biome Baobab Tree Biome with Dragon Blood Trees (similar to Redwood Biome but a desert version) Sand Pits and Sand Falls Quicksand Biome (Imagine Sand Hour Glass)

remove the dinosaur auto gather cap perhaps even improve it by adding in a Option in the behavior settings will continue to swing until it is slot capped. This will improve quality of life between PVE and PVP respectively And make the game generally less frustrating/tedious.

I've noticed when I'm out farming solo which takes a lot of time by the way my anky oftentimes swing randomly at metal nodes before I get on it I was thinking why don't they implement a feature called auto harvest I see they try to implement this feature but it's either not working properly or not implemented in a way that Adds quality life to the game so if wild card is looking at this please add a feature called auto harvesting where I don't have to get off my tame and get it on another just to hit a rock my tame should be doing that for me.

I currently play on two different computers, desktop at home and laptop when I travel. My notes are not transferred between them when I swap from one to the other. Is anyone else having this issue? My cloud files are up to date and I haven't tried actually moving save files between them yet, I am not even sure which ones I would have to move if this were the issue.

Here’s my idea for a Beelzebufo(frog) tlc. To start off buffs. The beelzebufo should have the hydration buff like the sarcosucus( idk how to spell it ). Another thing that should change is it should have a chargeable jump(hold jump button)the more you hold it the higher you go. The second thing I would like to talk about is the beelzebufo’s looks. The beelzebufo had bony/hard scales on its back and head and everywhere else had smooth skin also the frog just looks ugly. Another thing the frog should be able to do is carry its young because idk we see some frogs doing that in real life so it would be cool but only for short distances. Another feature it could have is swallowing small creatures whole such as micro raptors. Those pesky little annoying things. I know some of these Seem dumb but just some ideas if the devs do a fox tell me what you think and what you think should be added.

Hello, when you play ASE & ASA with a controller, you have a large inner deadzone for the sticks. A deadzone is the initial distance a stick can move before being registered by the game as an input. Larger deadzones prevent stick drift, but they also prevent the player from making fine adjustments while aiming. This is why most games have a slider to adjust the deadzone or to completely disable it if the have a propely functioning gamepad. The deadzones in ASE & ASA are so large that it actually makes it much more difficult to aim at smaller dinos at a distance. And it makes the game feel clunky. Thats why i use mouse and keyboard for Ark even though i would prefer playing the game with a controller. Please add an option to adjust & remove the stick deadzones for ASA. It really bothered me since ASE but I thought it will be fixed for ASA anyway. Sadly it wasnt. If you also want more precise controller input please comment to keep it up. We need a structure similar to the water tank for electricity. The current set up of needing a generator for each area ends up being quite a bit tedious. Maybe some sort of "battery hub" roughly the same size as the ac units but 2 height. Then have them link back to the main generator like a water tank.

is taming the equus/unicorn the same as ASE for ASA on xbox series x? i found a unicorn and every time i try to feed it when im riding it it only makes me jump off making it impossible to tame. just wanna know if im doing something wrong maybe or if its just a bug.

Hi ARK Devs, as you know ARK Survival Ascended has Global Illumination via Unreal Engine 5, making everything lit up. Although it's a welcome change it definitely cranks up the moonlight during night time. You don't even need a torch at night at this point. Taking away the scary darkness factor is taking away the true ARK experience that most of us remembered. ARK is all about the experience even with bugs and all, it will still be a ARK due to the experience, so please don't take that away from us. Moonlight is OP, How can a T-rex sneak up and jump scare me now? -
so iv been constant crashing on my really good desktop pc since ASA launch, iv crash 428 times according to logs, i crash when starting the game, loading into servers with no mods/with mods, official/un-official servers, just being in very very small to no base to medium size base just walking around. iv tried changing all graphics settings high, medium and low, disable HLOD, off DLSS, off Nvidia reflex low latency, disable menu transitions, and turning off all video settings on asa and tried resolution 3840x2160, 2560x1440 and 1920x1080. iv updated windows to latest version, gpu drivers on latest update. iv tried cpu limit the game through task manager, with and with out battle, also maxing frame rate to 30 and 60 and tried full screen and windowed full screen. -also tried unistall and reinstall didnt fix, uninstall and manually deleting all files that are ark survival ascended hasnt worked. and my mid range laptop has no issue with this game at all, never crash or anything with the same settings as above. any help is very apricated thank you good desktop pc -i9 - 13900k 13th gen -RTX 4090 asus rog strix oc -64GB ram -game running on SSD my laptop -i7 - 11800H 11th gen -RTX 3070 -32GB ram -game running on SSD -resolution 1920x1080 and there has been times on the desktop i wouldn't crash for about 2-5 hrs and then as soon as i have a crash or i leave server and re-join ill start crashing constant as joining server (loading screen) or starting the game up i would crash

i killed a 145 rex and claimed its baby but it didnt getr the extra levels like all the others, is this a bug or something?

Kinda simple, let us admin lock beds like we can doors and windows, so we can have spawn rooms for tribe admins that other members can’t use/get stuck in by mistake

The baby Argentavis in the trailer come to mind for this suggestion. Docuseries showing the imagined lives of ancient creatures, pteradons taking their frist risky flights from their clifftop nests. This isn't a new suggestion, but a rather proposed method of implementation. Instead of spawning the parent and randomly spawning babies for the flyers, instead randomly spawn nests in preset locations. Kind of like Beaver dams. Then have the "parent(s)" spawn and be set to either remain near the nest or periodically return to the nest. The nest can have an inventory of nesting materials and keratin (suggesting perhaps broken eggs or a non-surviving brood). The nest can randomly have eggs that can be stolen or babies that are nest-bound unless tamed (which would otherwise work like the other wild babies ingame). The nests would be challenging to get to, atop cliffs and giant trees amd mountains. Maybe hidden away in seaside caves or little nooks. It would be a fun little side hunt, and just a bit more atmosphere. I'm not experienced on all the coding in this game. I don't know if the wild parents and babies could be setup with a unique class to give the custom AI for this, and then they would tame to the normal tamed class versions. That is what I'm imagining with this suggestion though...

Here’s my sales pitch for a quetzal tlc (some ideas taken from a guy on YouTube on a comment from a video I can’t remember) to begin I think that the quetzal is not used enough because it’s practically useless. The quetzal has tons of potential and I believe with some tender love and care this creature would be used lots more. Starting off with the speed. The Dino is just way to slow to fix this we could make it so the higher it goes the faster the creature goes. Or just make it faster in some type of way like the diving mechanic used in griffins, snow owls etc. The other thing bad about the quetzal is its face it’s ugly fix it. Also it’s a bit unrealistic the neck is too short. I know this suggestion is short but it’s needed and I think if this creature had a tlc it would be cool I geuss

Dear developers! Once again I would like to ask you to open an official cluster of Offline Raid Protection servers. The thing is that I, as well as many other players, have been playing ARK: Survival Evolved for years on the official PVP-ORP cluster. At some point, the developers closed all the official servers with the words that all the same official servers will soon appear in the remaster of the game - ARK: Survival Ascended. It is for this reason that I and many other fans of this mode bought ARK: ASA, hoping that they will be able to return to their favorite servers and enjoy our favorite game again. But what was my surprise that this mode is simply absent in ASA. From the first day the game appeared in my library, I tried to get in touch with the developers to get the word out. I created discussions in Steam, wrote repeatedly in the official ARK Discord and even participated in discussions here on this forum. But never got any clear answer. I realize that the game is still in development and the developers have a lot of things to do to improve ARK ASA. I'm not asking or in any way demanding to open an official ORP cluster immediately, I just want to know some information about future plans, since again, I and many other players can't find a place in the remaster. Their home and comfort was taken away from ARK: Survival Evolved, but they didn't get it back in ARK: Survival Ascended.

Me gustaría saber si podrían aclarar mis dudas, en el apartado de las reglas para subir mi dinosaurio para votar por el mapa o mapas de ark survival ascended dice que debo hacer 6 publicaciones para participar. ¿Te refieres a publicaciones como estas o comentas publicaciones? La criatura debe ser del mundo real o no, pregunto por el Yi Ling que ganó por aberración y hasta donde yo sé sería una criatura fantástica. Pregunto ya que utilizo un traductor para leer los requisitos o traducir esta publicación que estoy escribiendo en español. Estaría encantado de participar en un mapa futuro.- 1 reply
