i logged on yesterday afternoon over at rileys to find our base all gone and we were dead, turns out swarm was not happy with me, turns out he alseeo tried to raid hornet as well, so anyway we respawn and run bvack to our base, i find blue knocked out asleep, he mustn't have been here too long ago, we wajke her up with stims and look around, he left me my 4 good pteras long with the one i plan on using for the time being, he killed all of hornets tames accept for his cool stego he tamed when we were building the other day, he riley was online aswell in the room across from me, he came to our base and tribed up with us, we decided it was war with swarm, we moved what we had left onto u huge raft build hornet had made after o logged off, he even had a ballistic turret on each corner. we moved to the chalk cliffs and made our way up to the base location, if not for rileys trike we would be dead from deinos. we made it too the new location and guess who had gotten there, swarm had spammed the place with pillars (wooden), we spent at around 1 and a half braking the pillars, we established a base and surrounded ourselves in spiked walls, i set the pteras to breed while i take my dud ptera to go get deino eggs, 180 straight off the batch, next was 168, 174, 162, 180, 156, 174, 180 etc etc etc. after an hour of just killing the low lvls and harming the eggs i had so many that even i was weighed down, i hatched the eggs and saved the good ones, all of them were 180s so that is good, i left the rest to act as spares for other uses, i raised them up and then bred out the good stats and got my self a pair of twins that will breed for mutations, i bred hatched three eggs from them and gave riley and hornet one each. we went out to test them and guess who wee find trying to find eggs, swarm, he was on a parasaur trying to fight some deinos, we stood and watched as his parasaur was killed, we finished off the deinos and surrounded swarm, i tranqed him and we dragged him back to bases, we made a cluster of cages so he cant get out by glitching, and since food and water drain suuuuuuuper slow on the cluster he will be there for days, we logged off with the pteras on aggro near the cages, if he does try to escape he wont get far.

ok so my friend has returned and he has decided to make his server private now, after an incident i dont wanna get into, so he has destroyed all bases who's tribe was no longer on, the space is 20 for what we call of little gamers club. anyway he added a second val map but as a pvp map, so i decided to get on their first, the rules are u can tribe but only maximum of 3, so i am goin alone for now as i dont want to have to share my resources and lvling with other (allows me to progress faster). i spawn on the beaches, keep in mind riley is on the xbox in the room across from me playin aswell. i spawn on beach and quickly lvl to 15, i make a spear and hunt some dodos, make hide a bow arrows and a few other things, i find a raptor half stuck in a rock, i bola him and knock him out, a 174 female, i kill a low lvl stego for prime, tame it up and saddle her up, she also had blue so obs i am calling her blue, we harvest up the turtles and organic poly and head on our way, an hour later and we have made a nice little house on the beach that extends over onto the water, i built a raft bay on the small extension, i found a nice looking 156 stego, i made some tranqs and knocked it out, tamed it up, and saddled it, made a saddle and collected some berries, made 500+ narcs. i found an alpha raptor on the beach and figured there are some good lvls. i bolad it and surrounded it in stone, i just kept hittin it with arrows till it died. u get ele dust and bio toxin from alphas, depending on lvl affects how much for some reason, anyway it was a 174, got 300+ bio toxin, i stored it in a preserving bin, i dont want to get a good flier till i need one, how ever i made a raft and went over to near the white cliffs where the youtuber syntac had his bas eon valguero, he is right, there are so many high lvl pteras there, i got  bout 13 max lvls from just an hour there of killing them and leaving and re-entering, i named the ones with best stats, i used on which surprisingly had and of the second best stats, so he would supply me for now till i want to breed them. i returned to my base to find swarm raiding it, for those who live under a rock swarm is one of my friends who plays on the server. anyway he has grenades and is attacking my base, i sick my ptera swarm on him and tear him apart, i start working on a taming pen when i am killed by a rex, it takes five mins for me to spawn due to a timer thing, by the time i spawn it has killed the stego and torn down my base along with the raft, blue killed it as she was about to die, i feed her to heal, a make a small wood base on the raft and get the essentials back. i decided living on a raft will be better for now, swarm also looted my stuff when the whole rex attack was happening, i think he dragged it down to me to raid my base, well played my good sir, anyway i went further into the river to protect myself, i am making flak when the boat is being attacked, i look to find a leeds attacking me, the raft brakes and blue is plungged in, a min later we are bein devoured by sharks, we manage to kill them and i collect allt he stuff, i whistled onto my pteras so they followed, i was now completely homeless, i figured i should just stick to the road till i get to my desired location, after an hour of misery i get to the location to find hornet there and has built a base, he has a deino rasing up and a ptera, i go up to him and ask him what he was doing, he said he was building our base, we tribbed up and built our base, we plan to later go tame utility creatures. also we had riley try to raid us with a hord of pteras, they broke the ceilling but died to my swarm.

so i am now able to post, i have done alot on val, i bred out my deinos some more to get some better mutations. i now have a pack with 10 melee, 17 health, 16 stam and 10 weight. they are so op that we killed the giga that greiffed the server for quite a bit, i decided i want to move to something else, i wanted a nice pair of rexes to breed, i went to chalk cliffs and the area flooded with argents, holy shiz 180 male first up, next up came a 174 female, then a 180 female, 180, 180, 174, 180, 174, 174. i had so many high lvl rexes i was wondering what was spawning them all, i was killing low levels and going back and forth. anyway i return back and combine all the stats into a pair of twins. i breed them for mutations and on the first egg i get wonderful bright red along with a health mut. on the 5th egg i got a cyan stripe, along with a melee mut, on my 13th. by 100 eggs i had all the colours i needed along with a few rexes with colour mutations that landed on unusable areas. so now i have just over 10 mutation stacked onto these guys. i also tamed and went to collect the argents we tamed on our way to the aberrant cave. i plan on breeding them next i plan on making the legandary kanto trio from pokemon, if anyone knows what i mean by that, moltress, articuno and zapdos, along with lugia and ho-oh as side additions, also @chris282 r u going to make the dilo avengers or the dilo league, i think that would be a good idea since u like dilos so much

so now i have posted what happened yesterday i shall post what i did today. so i decided to make a separate base from the others, it will be suited to my liking, i am still tribbed and will play with the others a lot but i want to make my own base and not have to cater to others needs. i have a image of the base on singal player. it will be built in the white cliffs. so i plan on making sort of like a town.  i have found a wonderful area that is flat and not where deinos spawn. so i grind up the structures and get down to building the bases, the plan it to have a forge building, a building with the smithy fab, industrial forge, chem bench and grinder in, a building for the cooker and grill, it will be next to the green house and ovis farm. i will have a farm for snails, ovis, beetles, gahcas and other passive producing utility creatures. i will also have a home building with beds and some storage in. this will be my main home where i will sleep and all that. i took alot of inspiration from how to train your dragon in terms of dino storage and some buildings. i have built small houses on pillar stilts to make it look viking like. i made a small docking bay down below on the beach near by for rafts and other sea crafts to port. i have set up balista turrets and other defenses for aesthetic looks. i have built multiple taming pens to allow for mass breeding. i build a farm barn to store farm like creatures, i have a silo for looks. all up i love my base. the server is pvp but we have a rule stating if the base owners say to to raiding their base u cant do anything to it. i built stuff out of thatch through to stone and glass house. i dont intend on moving to metal. however i will eventually make another base somewhere else. my base is considered the community center as it is easy to find and get to. i have signs and other things leading the way. i tamed some nice colored allos along with farming a few deino eggs. i hatched them and bred them up for the stats. i intend on breeding every singal tame to get a nice little museum goin, i got the idea from syntac, but i have a few other plans. i plan to make a park where players can come see iconic wild creatures roam in pens. i already have some deinos penned up and ready to be shown off. i found some cool rexes to tame up, i now have 5 rexes to breed stats from. today has got to be the most quietest day i have had on a server in a long time, makes me miss the good old days of ark, where people were friendly and the games was not highly toxic. anyway i will be goin to scorched tomorrow to get some thylas, then i am goin to ext for drops and element veins.

If a suggestion has a lot of votes but is not doable in the foreseeable future, will you tell us or let us guess ? Isn't it time to do *something* about that ? Some feedback about our feedback ?

Is it worth reading them ? Is it worth voting for them ? Is it worth coming up with them ? Is it worth trying to take part in this exercise at all ? When we try to tell you how to solve some of the problems we have, are we actually screaming into the void ? At the end of the day, it's not so much feeling like a way to communicate, but like an empty gesture.

I don't get why you people have such a hard time with a bit of transparency. This is a dinosaur game, not the nuclear codes. Especially on a slow week with no major announcement, giving us a bit of insight about the inner workings of tools you have yourself put in place would really go a long way.

exactly, they have never sid what it takes to get these suggestions into ark. there are some that have been there since the very start and the devs have done nothin

You keep bringing up Primal Survival as if the PC still have this. The originally developed game mode was put on hiatus over 2 years ago but you act as if PC gets to play it but it’s a reimagined mod that only PC unofficial can play. Remember, many PC players only play official so they too are excluded from mods. You and many others repeatedly forget that.

Valguero was a mod that became official content. The mod creator never assumed it would get integrated into the base game either as with all community based mods. They continued to add content as a mod extension which I think is great but also note that these extras would never have come with the official content. Sure it’s a shame that we are missing a few things but that’s the trade off for mods becoming official content. Same thing happened with Ragnarok.

Structures Plus was never going to be the full mod and the devs had repeatedly reiterated this. The break down of communication is down to the end user only hearing what they want to hear and then complaining that what they got wasn’t exactly how they thought it up in the head as if it’s anyone else’s problem but their own.

 

even if it is not fully confirmed we know WC too well, snail games tried to make dark souls or what ever it names is popular, an early attemp at profiiting off of ark, then came ark park, which i admit is ok and good, then came pixark, now atlas, these were all cheap attempts to make money, knowing wild card they will make a sequal since that scene at the end of ark leaves the option wide open, it will most likely be a cheap unfinished remake or attempt at ark. again no real effort put in, and may i point out if they stopped wasting time on making these games they could have spent it fixing and improving ark, WC are living definitions or procrastinators. also there was a crunch for primal servial and even a wiki page. also again arks state has pushed people to boosted server gameplay or mods. so u saying official is more populated than the rest of ark is complete bull****.  i fell like going on but i need to finsih here for now.

i was on my way on foot down the cliffs to tame some raptors, i went on foot to make it more fun. i found a lone raptor down on a small cliff attacking a lystro, i readied my rifle when i hear something behind me, i see raptors and run i fall onto the bottom cliff next to the other raptor, i used the move to dodge the raptors but rolled of the edge in to process, i managed to quickly grapple to the side, the raptors however fell to their doom in the form of a spino. after carefully making it back up i continue onwards, i would have loved to get that raptor, is was a nice solid black, i was goin to call it Darth Craptor. anyway i tamed a few in the end, 5 max lvls, and a few near max lvls

i am not talking baout mods anymore, i swear u are as ddim as WC, i am talking bout WC treating console ark in general, late updates, constant push backs, promised stuff that turns out to be crapier than they let off or is never given to us, cough cough "valguero" cough cough "primal survival". and now they plan on making a "sequal" to ark, seriously, u expect us console players to fork out more money for an over priced buggy game, the only reason i still play ark is cause i wasted so much cash on it. i love ark and all, but i am sick to death of PC peopel getting all the good stuff while console players are constantly disregarded

really, consoles are cheap, easier to use, most games are cheaper and easier to obtain via stores. while i admit pc's are good for gaming, they cost alot and are somewhat harder to set up. once i am employed i plan to save for a pc. if WC just made console ark as or at is best capability it would be fine. but i know for a fact that it is not at its best.

let me rephrase, there are more console gamers than PC gamers, people may have a pc but with all these modern games needing so much to run people would rather use consoles, because half the time they are as good on console as they are on pc, but in WC case that is not true, all i want is for console to be ass good as it can be, give us the cintent we need, release new content on the same date as PC for us. these little things can make a big difference, and u dont even need to try much.

Your data plans are incredibly awesome, I wish that we in Canada got internet plans like Australia. We pay the some of highest prices for internet globally.

 

I really want you kids that don't pay the bills or work a full time jobs to stop complaining about costs. As soon as you work a 40hr work week and have a mortgage, car payments, and family to take care of then you can complain about costs.

 

Untrue PC is the biggest gaming community. For someone that has never belonged to the pc group you really should take some of your own advise and not complain about something that have you no experience with, PC gaming that is.  

 

oh i have a pc, i use it for somethings, the games i play are on a USB stick, and that 1200$ one would be able to run ark but look soooo bad it makes minecraft look better. also my parents pay 70$ a month, the internet is slow cause agian, we live 2 hours away from any big town. and i only have one working parent right now, we may have good plans like unlimited internet for 50-80$ a month, but the connection is still terrible. my parents are too ignorant to realise they could get unlimited internet for the same price. plus even if i did have a good internet set up, i would need to either A: still have to pay for PSN, which i cant. or B: buy a freakin over priced PC to paly ark, i have no others games to even play on PC it would only be ark. so i am not going fork my own parents money just to be able to play ark, they should pick their a**** up and make the console version as good as PC. i have 5 friends with ark on switch, i have even tried it on switch, it is terrible. WC favor PC because they are supposedly the biggest contributers, well that is not true, console players need to pay more for the game, let alone able to play online. PC ark is always on sale 80% of the time 70% at least. while us console players need to wait till a big event like christmas, easter, 4th of july, halloween, thanks giving and so on. even then the sale for console is crap. all i want is atleast a crunch on here that confirms if u people even care for us console players. so far it seems not, i mean when the dlc's came out console was last, cause WC was too busy focusing on PC. valguero comes out in what 1 or 2 days, the PC people got the event on the map and us console players dont. what is next, us console players dont get fear evolved or Christmas.

Actually i think hes Canadian, not europian.  Doesnt really matter tho, your making a good point.  I cant stand spoiled people who dont understand the value of money.  Hundreds of dollars isnt exactly something most people have lying around and the number that do is dwindling.  Then throw in how the gaming business as a whole bleeds you at every turn and charges you repeatedly just so you can enjoy your single product is just sad.  And now its an accepted standard to put as lil quality or customer service into it as possible.

thank u finally someone gets it, i have no way of gaining money at this time, a pc obtainable in Australia is very expensive, and i should not have to waste a crap ton of money just to be able to get a better quality verison of a game that should be for console, again u spoiled PC players need to buy a console PS$, xbox, switch. buy ark and all of its additions when not on sale and at full price, pay for the memberships to be able to play online, along with the internet itself. then u can go criticizing me and the rest of us console players, until then shove a dodo in it and dont comment. people dont realise there are more console owners in the world than PC owners, when they dis us they dis the biggest poulation of gamers. there are game companies that treat consoles the way it should and some that just crap on it and finger it to the face all while expecting it to pay for its games and other content, that like a bully beating someone than saying to buy them somethin from the canteen. not gonna happen.

again i am in ausralia, the easiest pc i can get which can run ark in an ok state is 2000$. its fine for u people caus eu get all the good stuff, also i live 2 hours out of town and my parents are numb skulls who think i have to be 17 to get a job, again in australian money it cost a F*** tone for the game and maps. and since it is rarely on sale for PS4 i am not gonna waste more money just to get it for PC.  it cost more than 120$ for the game and its maps. all i want is a game as polished as the PC version, i am also sick of u PC players thinkin u cn comment on us consolers complaining, so hear is something for u's to do, buy a console, buy ark and its maps, waste money on xbox gold or PSN. play on the console ark for a year or two. THEN U CAN FREAKIN COMMENT, until then shut up and dont comment, i have the right to complain, u do not have the right to tell me to grow up. i have an entire discord server full of console players who want console ark to be as respected as PC ark.

um sorry but i am not gonna spend thousands of dollars just to play ark on PC, it cost way too much for the game alone along with the maps it is too expensive, also i know for a fact u need at least a 2000$ computer, and i dont have than money, also if games like fallout, skyrim and more can allow mods why cant wildcard. or even just spend the time to add what they promised. it was 2016 or 2017 and it is now 2019 seriously u cant be more lazy than that. again i dont hate the game i hate the devs. i would not hate them so much if they treated us console players evenly

well here we are two years later wildcard litterally sitting on their a** releasing maps that are not even worthy of playing aside form new dino, nt dinos just dino i mean seriously. also it was announced and confirmed. so how bout this wildcard, u give us primal survival before the end of 2019 and i will shut up for good. that sound good to ya, i mean u can obviously intergrate mods into the game fine so why not just put play as dino into the game. make it its onw seerate expansion like  prim+. also i would like to say that there was infact new dinso on the roster as a friend on discord found models of creatures for ark including suchomimus, acrocanthosaurus, velociraptor, protoceratops and a few more. 

i love the game, i hate the company, also i spent so much money n ark to be dissapointed, and is primal survival was not promised why was it announced to be released and a trailer was made for it @SaltyMonkey

a few friends and i plan on trying to get deino eggs as soon as we spawn, it gonna be a wild ride

Continued on my breeding of Owls, and trying to get a fully yellow or fully Neon Green owl.  Still missing 1 zone for Green and 1 zone for Yellow.

I had someone stop by my base, and ask to buy some eggs. I said sure. they bought 3 of my green eggs.  Then came back later and bought 3 All blue, and 3 all red.

I was excited to finally sell some.  But then I realized, I might not want to sell the eggs for the all blue or all red anymore, as this buyer could now flood the market with owls that are the result of all my hard work to get the solid colors.

SO I've decided, that I will no longer sell my full color Owls. I will sell combos of colors, etc.  I will keep the solid color ones for me, and to give as rewards to my friends on the cluster.

Either that, or I only sell adult neutured/spayed Solid Owls, 

I will still work towards creating high level, great stat "Vanilla" colored Owls that maybe have a face or wing stripe color,  and will sell those .

I'll just be greedy and keep the solid for me.

 

I tamed my 2nd Mantis of all time yesterday. a near max level event colored one.  I will use it to harvest the element veins.

On Saturday night, I helped out someone who was doing a time-limit dino Dermis scavenger hunt.  I gave them 16 dermis from my dinos, and it turns out that he didn't have 3 of the dinos I had, and it helped him hit the quota.

On Sunday he stopped by and presented me with a full grown Neon Yellow Rock Drake, more than max level.  Seems the Admin rewarded him with winning the scavenger hunt with 2 Super high level Rock drake eggs, amongst other things.  The guy gave me one! Plus we traded ASC saddles, he gave me drake, and I gave him a 308 Rex saddle.

We also traded Thyla cubs, as I gave him one of my solid Neon Green male cubs, and he gave me an amazing Hot Blue, Hot Red and Neon Yellow mixed male cub.

We also plan on doing some more trades for his Pink yuty eggs, as well as some other dinos when we have more time.

 

SADLY,  another person got insided over the weekend.  They invited someone to the tribe on Saturday morning, and when they logged back on Sunday morning, all their top gigas, griffs and wyvers were gone, and the person quit the tribe. Person was heartbroken. Another reminder why I only play solo.

 

On a sad personal note, my Grandma, whom I am very close with, passed away yesterday morning. She was 99 years and 9 months old. And up until the last 6 months, had been a mentally vibrant and functional lady, stuck in a wheel chair. But the last 6 months have been a terrible downhill battle for her.  She was ready to go, and this is a blessing, but it is still hard to have her gone. I spent most time than most with my Grandma, and we were kindred spirits. I visited her a week ago today. I knew that it was most likely the final time I would see her. She will be missed, but now she can at least join Grandpa nearly 25 years later.

dude u should nueter and spay your selling tames, also srry to hear bout your gran, my granparrents are nearly 100 each, we think they will both kick the buket this year, honestly i think if an elderly person does not want to keep going they should be allowed to choose if they want to kick the buket, my gran wants to but her carers say no cause they need her their to keep funding goin, same with my gramps, i find it so rude to use them as funding tools, still there are carers their who make it worht while for my garndparents. at least your gran will now be with her husband and watching down on you while u conquer ark. i am sure u will make them proud.

i am breeding rexes on my singal player extinction server, i go a red main body colour and a nice cyan back stripe, i like to use red and cyan as my mutation colours. both are melee mutations. i plan on fighting king titan by the end of the school holidays. i am looking ford to having my army

salty do u run a ps4 server. if so i am looking for a decent server to join once i get internet that can handle it. what r the settings/ community and mode like

i know it sounds stupid but in the past i have set narcotic traps in my base. if i am correct even pve people trigger other players traps. or you could rig your base with bear traps. they should really add in security cameras

So last Thursday night for fun, I jumped on a totally different unofficial server, and started out from scratch. This server has boosted drops, but not crazy boosted, and most of the stuff is for Abberation, even though this The Island map. It also has a good mix of dinos from all maps.

So I played about 4 hours that night, and managed to make a small stone base, and tame up a couple Griffins and a few Pteras and Moschops.

One of the last things I did was make a fabricator. I then spent my last time doing resource runs.

 

So on Saturday morning, I log back onto the server, and I immediately jump on a Griffin, and hit drops and grab resources for a full hour. (The Weight stat for humans and dinos is the only boosted stat, so basically unlimited weight)

So I finally get back to my base, and upon entering it, I start to load my resources into the fabricator. I notice that it is empty.  Hmm that's odd, but maybe I never put anything in it on Thursday.  Then I I check my Smithy, which I know had resources in it.  EMPTY. Every unlockable item in my base was empty. Except for a note from someone saying "Get Raided".

This was a stone foundation, stone wall, and stone roof base. only 2 doors, and both were closed and pin coded.  This is a PvE server.

 

Sooo how does someone get in and steal everything and get out again?   I've never seen this before, and the only thing I can think of is the windows. They somehow got in thru the tiny holes in the stone window walls.  But I didn't think that was possible.

I then spoke to another player that I had befriended on Thursday night, and he said the same thing happened to his base, but his is all metal, and without any windows.

 

At this point I believe it must have been some hack to get the thief thru walls.  Needless to say, I quit the server.  No point in continuing if I can't protect my resources.

 

 

i dont know if this was patched, but with climbing picks, if your character is small they would have been able to climbing pick into the base and loot, i say lock your stuff aswell,  or they could have used a monkey, apparently monkeys can unlock doors. also i doubt an admin would do this as yes they would get nothing out of it accept for a angry server member. i have been told that small survivors can glide into bases through windows with glide suits, but it takes practice and presision.
