Returned to work on my fort renovation. After a few attempts, I was able to perfectly align by eye the foundations with a door entrance which were then sunken into the ground to allow maximum head space. The ground floor, lengthways from doorway to doorway is slightly over 20 foundations leaving a tiny gap that you can’t get into so it’s bare noticeable.

I tried to build walls up to see if they were level with the other floors but they weren’t unfortunately. Instead, I placed a ceiling off a wall at the closest point to the ground, then placed a pillar inside and snapped a foundation off the pillar. While the new foundation isn’t snapped to the wall, it’s still perfectly aligned with it. Sunk those foundations down on that floor and moved on. The idea is to get each floor aligned with the one below so it looks snapped.

Due to the rubble on the ground floor, I placed a perimeter wall around it (6x6) then ceilined of the top, followed by stair ramps off the walls. Placed a tek replicator on top and the core stone structure blueprints e.g. foundation, wall, ceiling, pillar, into the replicator for instant stone structures.

I had already built a teleporter here so I farm all materials at my emerald forest base with the help from a Karkinos, and then teleport my Doedy and Theri when required. Before I started picking up my thatch foundations that I used to map out the area, I estimated that I’d need 1000 max foundations for this project, but I was wrong... I need way more than that.

Remember when PvP’rs used to Pteranobomb people’s bases which fast tracked the inevitable flyer nerf? You’re right, you just don’t see that level of creativity any more so I agree with you wholeheartedly. People act as if their way is the only way to play and that any suggestions made, even if there are mechanics in place to support it, are wrong and impracticable because PvP’rs say so.

I’d like to congratulate every person in the attached thread for this new change. Like I suggested, the devs figured it’s easier to amend the tribe war mechanic instead of amending the alliance mechanic, so I’ll give myself a pat on the back (don’t bite).

Different developers work on different things. The devs that created the modded content typically work on the bugs found there. Primitive+, The Center, Ragnarok, and Valguero all have 1-3 person teams, which are all additions to the Wildcard team. Aside from that, not all devs are debuggers, some are artists that may have a focus on content creation.

Believe it or not, Wildcard can work on more than one thing at a time. The key thing is the priority in which they base their workload.

What I like about the unknown is my ability to get things wrong in the name of enjoyment. VR seems more probable now.

I understand your point and I’ve suggested in the past why don’t they don’t pool all information on to their own forums i.e. this one, but for whatever reason it seems to an impossible task. I’m just pointing out that news is available and where you need to go to find it.

Because it’s a new map, and all new maps have evo events disabled for the first few weekends. My assumption would be that everyone complaining are new to the game because the older lot would have experienced this from previously released maps and known the deal.

The less people that play on official/legacy, the less servers that are needed and subsequently the less money Wildcard have to spend on renting the servers. Uninstalling = profit.

Snail Games own Ark’s IP. They are the ones who are making these games not Wildcard. Grapeshot made Atlas, which is still not Wildcard.

And? Releasing a trailer and people adding something to an unofficial Wiki is not proof of Wildcard promising something.

Your interpretation of promised stuff is setting you up for failure, every time. How many times must I repeat that talking about something is not a guarantee that it’s happening. Where is your proof for their Ark 2 plan other than players discussing it in the forums? The only 1 mention of Ark 2 was from a community manager saying it was a possibility for the future. Let me reiterate, 1 time and by a community manager, not a lead developer.

You keep bringing up Primal Survival as if the PC still have this. The originally developed game mode was put on hiatus over 2 years ago but you act as if PC gets to play it but it’s a reimagined mod that only PC unofficial can play. Remember, many PC players only play official so they too are excluded from mods. You and many others repeatedly forget that.

Valguero was a mod that became official content. The mod creator never assumed it would get integrated into the base game either as with all community based mods. They continued to add content as a mod extension which I think is great but also note that these extras would never have come with the official content. Sure it’s a shame that we are missing a few things but that’s the trade off for mods becoming official content. Same thing happened with Ragnarok.

Structures Plus was never going to be the full mod and the devs had repeatedly reiterated this. The break down of communication is down to the end user only hearing what they want to hear and then complaining that what they got wasn’t exactly how they thought it up in the head as if it’s anyone else’s problem but their own.

PC ark is always on sale 80% of the time 70% at least. while us console players need to wait till a big event like christmas, easter, 4th of july, halloween, thanks giving and so on. even then the sale for console is crap. all i want is atleast a crunch on here that confirms if u people even care for us console players. so far it seems not, i mean when the dlc's came out console was last, cause WC was too busy focusing on PC. valguero comes out in what 1 or 2 days, the PC people got the event on the map and us console players dont. what is next, us console players dont get fear evolved or Christmas.

The issues are predominantly official based, I personally haven’t experienced issues when launching a new map is all. I’ll be upping the player cap for the new server because I reckon most people who are actively playing will want to jump on right away.
