I think they choose them randomly from art they like around the net. I did post my art never on the forums here or the Ark discord, only on my galleries and tumblr and they must have found it on my devianart =).

I am not to dissappointed cause I actually expected the delay. As long as it makes the experience better and they are able to iron out the DLC I am fine with that. Really unexpected was to see my art here, so thx a lot for anknowllegeing it WC 😃

This does not automatically mean the game will be better and less buggy. Newer engines bring different problems. Sadly a lot of newer installments of games are even more buggy than the previous ones and there are a lot of examples.

Why do I have this bad feeling that Gen 2 will get delayed again ?

I saw Pitch Black and he was fitting there but as Santiago he is in my opinion a really bad choice and that Santiago even has another last name than in the explorer notes is for me something that should not happen. Vin Diesel as a totally fresh character I actually wouldn't mind that much. I really hope he will not be in the game at all and it really is only a trailer but I doubt it, cause he will also be in the animated series and I think they will use a "comic" Vin Diesel version there. I fear they changed to much there too and as it seems there will be no Diana in it who is after Santiago the most liked character of mine in the Ark franchise. I know a lot of people don't mind stuff like that and that is ok, but for me things like that are a big put off.

To be honest... Genesis 2 hyped me for Ark but the new Ark 2 trailer did put me off so much I am in no mood to even to log in and feed my dinos on my server... so no clue if I will get much of the event. Also very wary of the animated series after some stuff I saw and read about it...

Hmmm .. somehow funny that Santiagos last name in the Explorer notes is Camacho and in the trailer DaCosta.. probably someone did not do his homework ? ^^ Also I don't know what to think as Vin Diesel as "cast" for him, not really happy with that choice. There would have bewn way better options in my humble opinion.

I love all the Tek stuff, especially the Fed. Tek Armor. It looks really neat. Love how Rockwell mutated into the main antagonist. Really wished for it, especially after the Extinction ending. Also I miss Santiago. Like his character a lot.

I don't understand all the fuss about the Tek-Para. Yes it is a beginner dino, yes it is not a super strong killing maschine but it is one of the dinos that was ingame from the beginning. I think it looks pretty cool and it gives new players a chance on a Tek-Dino from the start. Also how much Gigias there are on a map like the Island ? 2 ? Same with Quetz. Only the Mosa is more "common" but hard to tame for beginners. Sothe chances on getting a Tek-Giga ore Para are pretty low. I think the Para and how I guess the Trike are obvious choices and I am fine with that and people should not forget that WC probably keeps some newer Tek dinos in the back hand for the DLC. And a big reminder on those console players. You may have all the Bionic skins.. we PC players do not and now WC is simply keeping their promise to give us a chance on the skins. And yes I am normaly not a person that writes a lot of feedback but I really hate people that start to whine about stuff we get for free.
