A possible infinite pelt source is pointless?

Do you even read things before you speak? Like seriously, it is painfully obvious that WC isn't the main developer of this besides the fact that Jat posted on this saying they weren't doing the heavy lifting. Stop complaining.

Probably because its two things that the rest of the community have been super excited about? I know as an Xbox player I can't wait for my opportunity to get the Giga skin, and the armor is just a side thing to me but others probably really want it as well. Then PS4 comes along and they get both of these things that the community has been waiting for just cuz they need "incentive." There is nothing special about PS, they are just like Xbox and it doesn't matter how long they had to wait cuz in my opinion the fact that they had to wait was better for them cuz then they get so much less of the bugs and glitches the rest of us suffer through. Blame their wait on Sony, and don't worry about making them feel special. You mean those ridiculous glasses you can put on the Rex? Lol, I can't think of anyone I know who would want those cuz they look ridiculous so that is prly why there isn't a big uproar about it. PC stopped complaining about the Rex skin cuz it was already long confirmed they are getting it in the future so there isn't a need to keep complaining.

Its not about the skins its about the idea of exclusives. If skins can be exclusive then Dinos can be. Doesn't matter cuz Jat already said that they are just timed exclusives

So this is concerning news. Just more of Sony dishing out tons of cash for exclusives to compete with other consoles and continue to sew the seeds of discord between players (and people say they "care" more.. yeah care more about their pocketbooks). There should NOT be "exclusives" ever. All it does its make people annoyed and causes arguments. Warframe and Destiny are two prime examples of nonsensical exclusives. Everyone should have access to everything so that it is fair. I don't care if it is just a skin and doesn't affect the game, it is still a simple fact of that I feel cheated out of content just because of some stupid competition between gaming platforms. Ruins the communities of gamers and turns people against each other. PS4 players don't "deserve" anything just cause they had to wait cuz Sony doesn't allow pre-release programs or mods (more of that "caring" for their player base). All them waiting means is that they have to deal with a MASSIVELY less amount of bugs and glitches than PC and ALOT less than XBox1. They should be happy they didn't get it while the game was so broken. Exclusives are just bad doesn't matter what they are.

It is great to see that you do pay attention WC. It may hurt the intention of SE to have Gigas and Quetzals running/flying around now but I guess y'all know what is best.

Have... have you just been ignoring all the alien technology around the map? The giant floating obelisks and terminals under them or the stuff in the caves? Pretty sure given enough time people would figure out how to adapt the technology. Also how does this take away from the original spirit? You don't wanna use it then ya don't have to, its just part of the story and all. You can still just run around and tame creatures and use primitive or modern technology instead of future Tek technology.

BEYOND EXCITED FOR THIS! Seriously though I have been waiting for the game to finally get to the Sci-fi side of things and get more into the fancy tech that the Obelisks are made of and the large things attached to the walls of caves. Also can't wait to figure out the whole story to the ARKs and hopefully get to discover more ARKs along the way.

Sooo you would rather not have the content at all then? I mean according to your logic they basically "promise" things without actually promising in any shape or form. Not trying to be rude but all they do is say "hey, here are some mechanics we are working on and you may expect to see in said patch" emphasis on the working on meaning they may or may not make it. Did you look at the thread of the post saying Xbox wasn't getting the Halloween update at all? I have never been so disgraced to be a console player because of the reaction to it. Oh but hey all those who threw a fit got what they wanted, WC tried to tell everyone it wasn't ready but they wanted it anyways so they got what they asked for. Why should they be less ambitious? I am perfectly fine with them letting me know exactly what they are focusing on and trying to provide to us even if it doesn't make it in for a long while just because it is them keeping us in the loop. As for PC not getting the Titanoboa taming either the only thing I can say is that when ya think about the fact that the devs that work on these things weren't around to work on the Xbox patch then how would they have had time to also work on the Boa taming and werewolf/vampire stuff?

That level 35 Skeleton Rex was an Alpha Rex as skeleton skins only appear on alphas unless it is a herbivore,Giga,or Quetz. Prim Plus is a mod so I am sure it is conflicting majorly with vanilla game content. Sorry, but you made the choice to play with the mod. Titanboas arent tamable on Xbox or PC, in everyone wanting this even "soooo badly" and being not very adult about it they had to rush it out and not everything could make it in. Both of those are MODS as in not Official even if made to be official, which means that the mod creator has to be the one to make everything work properly not WC. All the skins aren't going to be taken away, just the pumpkins/scarecrows/gravestones. Technically I am pretty sure the painting is the carving? Idk about that one. The skeletons are supposed to be a rarer spawn so yeah wiping and letting things reload should help. That is concerning and maybe you should send a support ticket to hopefully get a patch out or make a thread.

Based on how long it has been since the last dossier reveal I am really concerned we have hit a stopping point on new dossiers for now. Sad days, or maybe they are just too busy trying to get ready for launch. Oh well I am sure they have plenty of plans for the future.

As an Xbox player I am utterly disappointed by the rest of the Xbox player base turning into crying children because we didn't get something. Its not the end of the world and there is always next year. There is also the possible Christmas event, and if it doesn't make it either then oh well. Xbox community already has a bad enough reputation without you people flipping your lids because we didn't get something. Ya know with stuff like console exclusives we would be used to not getting things. I never saw anywhere where it was "promised" to us that we would 100% get Fear Evolved. All we knew was they were working really hard on getting them out to us and that is all I can ask for is that they did work really hard. I will patiently wait to get the content and enjoy what they did manage to give us. Nobody even notices that PC also lost out on content in that they lost the Vampire and Werewolf stuff.

Surprise DLC are the best DLC lol. Always fun to get on and be like BAM! LOOK AT ALL THIS NEW STUFF THAT YOU HAD NO IDEA WE WERE WORKING ON! It is pretty exciting personally. This Boar however isn't a surprise DLC though, says grasslands and sandy terrain so its current maps.

So you honestly think they can't release the game without all the creatures in the game? X D you sir or mam need to rethink your thoughts. PC and Xbox don't even know we are going to get all the creatures before release. You are just being a pessimist. It isn't WC's fault that Sony is scared of everything because they back failures of games like No Man's Sky and not game that are obvious successes because of its popularity and it already being played by people.

I really don't think they will touch the Argent very much. I think it came out exactly the way it was meant to be. Not all vultures have to have bald heads and such. All it needs is a special ability and that is it. I personally love the look of the Argent, in fact every image I see of it resembles what it looks like in game. Now other than looks I think it should act more like the vultures on SE, but then it wouldn't be unique. I think it should just stay the way it is and get a special perk, which is pretty much what all the originals are getting if I understood correctly.

Pretty sure all the early creatures are getting a passover. My only problem with the Araneo is that its dossier says it is too small to ride and yet we can. Maybe it needs a size increase or something. It just doesn't feel like a mount ya know? Like it was meant to just be a defensive creature. That is why I want a bigger spider that acts more like a mount. Speaking of mounting, everyone speculating on wether or not the Queen Bee will be ridable. I would assume not, but as we don't have a very good size depiction on this dossier, in the mound the survivor makes them look like they are bigger than Dilos but in the other image they look smaller attacking the Trikes. With no saddle symbol though I would assume not.

Lol I just don't like the Araneo. I am thinking a larger spider with a longer/taller leg spread that can climb trees, thinking redwoods biome, It lies in wait on the trees waiting for someone or something to walk into its web trap it lays at the bottom of the tree so i can pounce down on them, the trap could also be lined with a venom that could add torpor. After taming you can lay the traps down to evade chasing predators or perhaps trap some unsuspecting survivor and then kill them. It would be faster and a lot tougher than the Araneo. It wouldn't have the ability to spray webs cuz not all spiders can do that. It could jump really high as well. Basically a combination of a Jumping Spider with a Trap Door Spider, but it doesn't dig into the ground or transversely they could use the mechanic of the yet to be introduced purlovia which digs into the ground and then make it a true trap door spider with the same abilities. Edit: The giant bug hype with the new moth, mantis, and now giant bees has me really cooking with ideas for a new spider lol. Giant Bugs both terrify and intrigue me for some unknown reason.

It is ok bro. That is why I say we all apologize. We all know about the issue, but the game just isn't at a point where the bug can be fixed without it coming back more than likely. Lets just get excited that we are getting SOOOO much content for this amazing game. Other survival games can eat their hearts out. Looking forward to more new bugs( Edit: realized the connotations of what I said lol, and I need to clarify that I mean bugs as in creatures and not bugs as in game bugs. Derp). Need another Giant Spider that doesn't live in caves and is a lot more agile

Dude, I absolutely love all the giant bugs we are getting lol. The swarming effect the queen has is going to be so great when I am just casually strolling the island. I wonder if she will sit on your shoulder and the drones will follow? hmmm...

Those companies also keep their games under wraps for years before letting you play them and then lie to you by releasing a "fully complete" game that isn't technically fully complete because you don't actually have access to all the content which is where they get you. If you do enough digging then you can find the content is already in the game just not made available to you until they deem appropriate and then they charge you for it. As for RockStar's famous GTAV with its "free" update. You have pretty much already payed for the updates by buying the game which already had the updates in its coding and then the mass micro transactions, oh and the special editions of the game. Yeah those 1-2 guns, cars, and so on I am sure get really taxing on a game with a huge dev team and years of planning.
