  1. Many pple are pretty much played out by now. So now for the next 5 months they have to what, log on every day to keep their gas collectors from poofing, to feed their dinos and keep their veggies fertilized? That's not playing a game anymore, that's just tedious nonsense. If their DLC is only good to keep people busy for 3-6 months and only once a year they come up with something new, they should offer a game stasis mode so people can wait out the next dlc wihout forcing them to log on just to keep their gas collectors from decaying.

  4. You say it like it's our own fault if we lose our character during transfer and we should just suck it up the way it comes. I say: fix huge issues like that before you do a 14 day countdown for ridiculous nonsense like this. "life finds a way" and then you get 3 useless dino skins and a tek skin rex. It's a poor puppy that loves a bone like this....
  5. You're right, one man's BS is another man's truth and vice versa . I just get a headache from running across the map and scanning the floor for those dirt piles. Haven't seen one single bp and there are no rexes on Abberation. I don't read explorer notes either, I read up a synopsys online and thats more than enough of lore crap for me. I'd like to go to the island though, to tame some new rexes, but server hopping is too risky for a one man tribe, with so many lost characters during transfer and zero support for character restoration from WC. I'm just getting close to being fed up with the direction this game is taking in general I think and I feel many people share that sentiment. Was hoping that this countdown would be something that'd kick start it into being enjoyable again but I'm not even looking forward to the new DLC without a proper failproof server transfer system. This game is all fun and smiles until the glitches and bugs start to cost you weeks of work if you add them all up... I'd rather see them iron out their incredible mess instead of wasting their time on stupid pachy skins. At the very least do a cool ravager, rock drake, argy or spino skin. who the hell even uses a pachy? Anyway, glad to hear at least a few people like it, for me it's just another push towards the exit.

  7. Are you being sarcastic or do you actually enjoy scouring the map for those small brown patches? I just played for little over half an hour, to see if my initial disgust wasn't exaggerated and at least give it a chance, and the only things I got were 5 lousy bones and the beginning of a splitting headache. This is not wasting peoples' time anymore, it's spitting in their face while you call them an idiot.
  8. They waste their time and effort on ABSOLUTE NONSENSE like this but developing a risk free server transfer system or fixing some of those fun-wrecking bugs is too much trouble? FIX THAT FIRST. IDIOTS. WHO THE F EVEN RIDES A PACHY?????
  9. I'll gladly solve that mystery for you. 1: Crafting ascendant saddles - they require way over 60 slots of materials. Pretty necessary. 2: Crafting at 12x speed instead of wasting time waiting for it at the smithy or fabricator. Saves a lot of time if you add it all up. 3: Crafting proper gear without non-stop having to fill up/remove the correct amount of items in a fabricator/smithy. Let's, for instance, take Mastercraft - or even journeyman - hazard gear. The mats to craft 1 mc shirt almost take up all slots of a fabricator. In a replicator you can put enough stuff to make a full set without constantly having to calculate how much gasballs, blue gems, crystal, organic polymer, etc. you need. On top of that, I have to empty the fabricator of other stuff before I can even start crafting. Big gain of time and effort if you can just dump it all in a replicator. Only for stuff like this I need it. I don't care about tek stuff, I have a full tek base on single player and 90% of it I really don't care about. On pve you don't really need tek gear anyway. On top of that, and this is what ticks me off a bit about this whole forced server transfer situation, Wildcard currently offers ZERO assistance when your character gets lost in a transfer. I'm a solo player so there's the small but real risk of losing everything I have every time I transfer. In a tribe you can re-join and start from level 1 if need be. Me, I would be screwed. Even if WC could help, it takes them weeks to respond to tickets so all my dinos would be gone and all my structures expired. I'm very established after 6 months and I really don't feel like scooping up a new player that I don't know and give him admin rights over all of my stuff just to have backup when something goes wrong with a server transfer. That's insane. I've seen enough crap happen on my server to not even contemplate doing something stupid like that. At least wildcard should provide some proper assistance if they can't prevent characters from getting lost. Or just let players log on to different servers with the same character in the game menu instead of all this glitchy obelisk transfer crap. I'd be at the island unlocking that replicator right now instead of ranting about it here...
  10. Here's an update suggestion: Unlock the Tek replicator on abberation. What's wrong with you people.
