  1. Probably not. It's fairly normal to do something with more vigor once you see results, especially with working out and training. I used to do weight lifting and got really into it as I started to lose weight.
  2. Yeah, gameplay thing. Probably no engrams or levels in the lore either.
  3. Yeah, but a fish doesn't have hundreds of eyes pointing in different directions across a space the size of a biome. It's like having eyeballs all throughout your digestive tract, it would be hard to understand where exactly you are looking. Maybe Rockwell knows you're inside him but not exactly where you are, or the eyes only relay information if they spot something "out of the ordinary"(Maybe they have pseudo-brains?) so they can send a "priority signal" to the main brain and alert Rockwell. Just saying that having this many eyes for any organism would require quite a bit of biological trickery, enhanced or not.
  4. I mean personally, I think it would be tough for Rockwell to determine where the Survivor is in his entire body unless there were some kind of landmark inside of him. But if a Seer were to screech, Rockwell could feel that and know where the survivor is. Maybe I'm underestimating his capacity for knowing where we are, but it makes sense to me personally.
  5. Personally call the eye jellies "Seers" as that seems an appropriate filler name. The Seers are likely sentries of sorts that roam the insides of Rockwell to look for threats like the Survivor. Their cries alert Rockwell, which is why the tentacles emerge after it calls out(Probably just a trailer thing, but we'll see). This makes sense, seeing as how Nameless and Reapers act this way, and are also part of the Rockwell boss fight, meaning these may also be part of the final fight as minions. I really hope Seers are tameable in some capacity, they look awesome. Maybe if they're independent of Rockwell we can tame them? Or they'll be like Zomdodos and be claimable after we beat Rockwell? Even if they were tameable though, I doubt they'd be rideable.
  6. I imagine it will have pretty low base armor so that survivors are still encouraged to "upgrade" while still receiving the benefits of a Tek Suit like Jetpack and Falling Boots. Atleast that's the only way I can really think of that would be balanced.
  7. So he deleted the other Master AI(Except the Moeder, who took herself offline) and not the Controller, which is likely the only AI with the means to boot Rockwell from the system? Seems like a flawed plan to me, especially considering how the Aberration system proved that Rockwell isn't all powerful by locking him in as the "Overseer" of the station after we defeat him, dooming him to die and respawn in the arena until Aberration crashed to Earth.
  8. Except it is Rockwell... If you've ever fought the Master Controller, you'll see that as you fight it the armor on it gets chipped away and it begins to resemble human Rockwell. He also has spats with HLNA throughout the fight, and has voicelines that clearly point to it being Rockwell in the Master Controller's body. It's basically Rockwell with a mask, and he's using the Master Controller as his "Playable Character" because of its innate control over the Simulation, allowing him to alter it to his desires. I imagine the Master Controller's AI was deleted like the other Master AI's save the Moeder, likely because Rockwell went after it first.
  9. You mean aside from the Corrupted Creatures, Mutated creatures of Aberration, and Titans?
  10. Better learn to explore and grind resources together then.
  11. Used to be a thing on console, but it caused lots of crashes and data loss. Not worth being able to go 100 more meters away from your host.
  12. The Mammoth has needed this for a while, and the Stego does deserve a TLC seeing as how the Rex, Raptor, Spino, and Trike all got one and it's around the same age as them. The only creatures on your list that need a TLC are the Pteranodon and Quetz. The Iguanadon is fine for what it is, Megalania just needs better stats, and the Saber already had a TLC.
  13. It's to prevent griefing, especially with corrupted creatures and the like.
  14. So far, my only gripe with this TLC pass is that the Stego just became Kentro 2.0. Like, you nerfed the Kentro's damage reflection and wild ones don't seem to use their tail attack against other wild creatures, and know it seems like Stegos have the same thing just without bleed(Atleast I think Kentros cause bleed to picked up targets). Just think something different could have been done for the Stego, like a daytime buff or herding bonus when around other species of herbivores(Stegosaurus and Camptosaurus would herd together to help protect each other from Allosaurus).
  15. It will, Tek Raptors, Trikes, Parasaurs, and Rexes all got their counterparts TLC stuff.
  16. "Perfectly ok" You mean aside from the fact that something STATED IN THE DOSSIER to only fear REXES is attacked by Dilos and Raptors. It looks like it has clay caked into its fur, and the soulless eye don't help. Also consider how other wood gathering creatures just do it better(Especially the Theri) and it really isn't too hard to see why the Mammoth is getting a TLC. The Diplo used to be attacked by literally every carnivore and that got changed, yet the Mammoth has always been an agro bot for Dilos and Compies without a single tweak. Even the Megatherium, which are considerably smaller than Mammoths, are only attacked by large carnivores. Wolves and Sabers have enough prey in the Snow Biome alone, let the Yutys deal with the Mammoths.
  17. How? It would hardly collect anything, much-less enough to throw off the balance of the game.
  18. She knows as much about the Bladewasps as the survivors shes with. What makes you think this isn't the case with the Magmasaur as well. They simply know more about the Magmasaur than the Bladewasp. She calls the Bog Spider a boogeyman because she simply doesn't have information on them, only on what their victims end up like. She simply doesn't know.
  19. No, it means the simulation gave life to the Blade Wasp. ALL the creatures are "produced", whether they be from the Arks or the Simulation. Blade Wasps were at one point removed from an Ark and stored as code. The Genesis Simulation is using that code to simulate the Wasps.
  20. That doesn't mean they are mistakes... It means compared to most other creatures, these are either pretty outlandish or terrifying. All Genesis creatures are of a different caliber than even the Extinction creatures(Excluding Titans). One is a literal volcano, another can teleport and produce "space energy", the Ferox drastically transform their body mass with Element, and the turtle produces a sustainable bubble of air from seemingly nowhere.
  21. So far, none of the Genesis creatures have been "accidental". The Magmasaur information received from HLN-A suggests that not only the Magmasaur, but all the Genesis creatures were at one point or another tested in the Ark Stations and removed for either being too difficult to deal with, or changing the environment to drastically. HLN-A states the scorch marks of Magmasaurs would be all over the place if they were still on Scorched, perhaps implying they wandered just about anywhere they pleased.
  22. How is it too strong? If your opponent has killed you, they probably already have your stuff. If you don't die in PvP, lets say a cave or while taming something, your tribemates would be able to locate and protect your stuff.
  23. Aside from that fact that it's one of the rare habitable planets we know of, the origin of all known life, and we already had a plan to make it habitable again and all we needed to do was defeat the King Titan? It's more efficient for us to save the planet we are based around as opposed to simply fleeing light years away to another. And as advanced as the tech in Ark is, it is still probably difficult for that tech to travel across the stars. We probably could have gone to Mars or something, but what fun would that be for the story?
  24. Troodon skins? The Turkey has been around far longer than the Troodon.
