It's a business model I guess, but, noway anything good is coming out of this, unless they are willing to keep forking over tons of money to streamers, but that will kill the profit anyway. Not having high hopes on Ark 2 anymore, nor the continued existance of the franchise. There is wanting to make money, and then there is just pure stupidity.

The process right now is: • Create a new steam account for your server • Buy a second copy of the game on that account (the 1st copy is the one you want to play on) The future: • Create a new steam account for every single map expansion they release for ASA • For each of these accounts, buy a copy of ASA So based on their current design, ultimately we are looking at 12 additional steam accounts and 13 total purchases of the game (your main steam account + 12 servers) The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1, Genesis Part 2, The Center, Ragnarok, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Lost Island, Fjordur OR Pay Nitrado an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money per server because they have a global monopoly on commercial server hosting. This is just... wierd?

Though, it seems really unclear, even if the price of 25$/server is mentioned, can actually everyone get more licenses, or, is it the 10K follower cap that lifts the license cap? Would be really nice to see some more official mentioning of this.

Heck, I can run a 6*6 Atlas server on my server machine, I don't see how this is a limitation of peoples hardware. At this point in time, it seems like a money grab.

This is, yeah, honestly, disgusting. Way to kill off the community. I run 25 servers, now I am expected to pay for 24 licenses? Screw this.

So, no more clusters for family run servers? With all the DLC's, this is, whaaaa? You get to run 1 server for free, and then have to fork out, what is it, a license fee, if you want to run more?

Ark -> Dark and Light -> PixArk and now Atlas. Yeah, no thanks.
