MAINTENANCE COMPLETE
At 3:30 PM UTC (8:30 AM PT/11:30 AM ET) on June 30th we will be taking down some of our servers for maintenance. We expect maintenance to last for approximately 1-2 hours. During this time the servers will not be running therefore time will not progress. Upon being restored the affected servers will no longer show as Favorites so you will need to search the main server list and re-add your server.

This should be resolved now after a server reboot

Hey guys can ya let me know how it's going now? We fixed the hardware issue that was causing the current problem.

I'm looking into this currently. It appears there is a hardware issue, which happened AFTER the maintenance I did last week. We'll work on getting some more info and getting this fixed up asap.

558 is now back online! Please let me know if there are further issues going forward on any of these 3 servers

I will be taking down 558 for maintenance shortly to move it to another machine. This should resolve most of the issues you're seeing on 556-558. 

Hey guys! I've looked into this issue. We will get one of these servers onto our maintenance list for today. The maintenance is only required for one server of the 3 to resolve the issue for all of them so don't be alarmed if yours isn't under maintenance. I will put notice here when maintenance takes place

On officials they are turned off. By default though on unofficial and dedicated full transfer is allowed. So its all dependent on the server if they allow it or not.

Kinda sucks I paid for an expansion I can't even play in my cluster, so it gives me mixed feelings on if we will get the map.

Would be nice to get SE added to the cluster though with Valg

yes this is intended. ARKpocalypse was the only gamemode where we left transfers fully open. 1) the map wipes in 3-4 days from now 2) with regular wipes every 30 days it didn't make sense to lock the content on that one server in an already limited closed cluster.

I tried replacing the other server and just changing the map to Valguero_P but it just keeps kicking me back to the main screen after it finishes loading. 
I made sure I saved, like he said, and forced an update, and even reinstalled SteamCMD just incase. I've already tried connecting from a different workstation and it just does the same thing, so it's on the server's end, just not sure what's going on. 
All the settings are the same, I just switched the map and it stops working. I also tried creating an entirely new ark server instance but it does the same thing with that map. 
Did they have to download a different version of ASM? Im using version 1.0.345.1

Sorry I can't be of much more help as I'm not an expert with ASM by any means

Valguero is not canon so it doesn't follow the ARK storyline.

The item, dino, and survivor transfer restrictions are server settings. Default single player is to allow free transfer of any of those back and forth.

Not yet, the server manager doesn't allow it as easily as they claim it should be. I may try creating a manual server if I can't figure it out, but those are a lot more difficult to change little settings so I'm trying to avoid that. 

it definitely works by just manually entering 'Valguero_P' into the map field. That's how we run some of our unofficial test servers

If you're referring to ASM, you can actually manually input the name (Valguero_P) into the map name field until its updated by the creator. Third party host providers should have the option available at launch if they are supporting the map.

This post doesn’t give good examples. 

NoTek will not receive the map, at least not currently. As it stands, NoTek hasn't gotten either The Center or Extinction. We may release these to the cluster at a later date though.

Hardcore will, I forgot to add that into the provided list. It will only be a single server though like most of the other maps on the hardcore cluster.

Arkpocalypse will be wiping normal time (the 22nd this month), short season was just in reference to Valguero only being live for 4-5 days instead of the full month due to the usual wipe.

It's been stated several times by several staff members that it's coming to console. It was even mentioned in at least one of the recent crunches. But in case you're still unsure, yes it is indeed coming soon to console.

I've corrected this now so its hopefully less confusing. The servers will have their transfers merged to allow players to move from cluster 6 to 7. After the 11th, cluster 6 will be deleted. In essence you must move to cluster 7 otherwise anything left on 6 is deleted.

Upcoming Console Patch!

Xbox and PS4 will both be receiving a patch to fix a number of issues. The patch includes several optimizations for memory and lots of changes from the v289.100 PC patch. We'll have more details on the date soon. NOTE: The patch will be a large download! Patch notes for this upcoming patch are below.

The Structures Plus and Kibble Rework beta is still available and we're looking for additional feedback as we get closer to release of these features. We will have another update to the beta branch soon, addressing some of the feedback and suggestions from our beta participants. Thank you again to everyone that has participated thus far and provided us with their feedback. Please check out the post below for all of the information on how you can get involved in play testing this beta.

We're finally getting down to something cool looking. We're doing a little bit of polish in this video because it has a bit of impact on how we handle the spawn/despawn controls of the mod. So there are circumstances where it might be good to take a break from the rough work and put a little bit of time into some refinement. It's good when you think it will have an impact on the overall design or if you just need a little catharsis.

Fear Evolved is not supported in the ActiveEvent system as we only began using it this year and didn't have Fear Evolved this year. ActiveEvent can be used for: Easter, Arkaeology, ExtinctionChronicles, and WinterWonderland.

We base the list off of a few metrics, namely the average players playing and the max number of consecutive players. We look at this across a week (rather than just a single day, as many of our players only play weekends or only play during weekdays). We never stated that all servers on our list are ones that are completely dead and have zero players but generally speaking there are quite a few that are completely dead with maybe a single person playing for the entire week duration.

I'd be happy to look into your server though and see if there is indeed a mistake in the list, but the current list was actually given a very generous cutoff point for being considered "active" especially with this round of cutoffs compared to previous migrations.

The new creature looks nice, my first though was falcor too, or the "dragon" from spirited away.

What has been bothering me for a while now; Is it possible to adjust the thumbnail for the mobile version? It always shows some random part of the picture, It would be better to have some important parts centered (face of the creature, not part of it's neck for example). 

Nope no PC kill list this round! PC has fewer legacy servers compared to PS4 and Xbox. After analyzing the numbers there were no PC servers that met any of our cutoffs so we opted to keep them all active for this round. That's not to say there won't be any in the future though as it's all about whether people are playing on the maps or not, but they're safe for now

Small tribes servers will be completely fresh and only have transfers between the other small tribe servers. This goes for PC and consoles. Transfers will however be both ways between the ones in the cluster (allowing transfer in and out).

Something we can look into for the future. For the time being you can use the server list and sort by player count. I'd say generally the top 10 of the criteria you want are probably safe from future legacy removals but that's not something I can guarantee without looking at them in more detail.
