  1. I agree with a lot of others, a big no to vaulting dinos for me. And a yes to more tlcs. Not sure how I feel about spreading the megalosaurus' mouth grab animation to all carnivores. I mean it doesn't really have much going for it already with the sleep thing it's got going on. And its mouth grab is amazing to watch from a distance. I say one snatch up a shinehorn. I'm never against new dinos, but I would want them to seem different from the ones we already have. I do genuinely believe it's possible to make most, if not all, of the less used dinos more useful. SE may not have a dino for gathering pearls, but it does have a whip which works pretty well. Plus I think you're forgetting the otter, they gather pearls I believe. Not as much as an angler, but still... I would like more underwater caves and stuff. Nothing people can build in, because if I timeout underwater, that will definitely be the last time I bother to go down there. But in general, more nooks and crannies to explore underwater.
  2. I didn't read all of it, from both posts, but a lot of these are pretty nice. And some seemed a bit op/useless? A plant that can kill animals will either be destroyed by said animal before it can ever do any real damage, making it a waste to grow. Or would have to survive on a diet of jerboas, or something equally weak. And even then it would probably starve to death since the jerboa isn't just going to stand there and be attacked. I do like the idea of a plant that heals and is fueled by fertilizer though. I think it would make high pooping animals even more useful. As it is, our tribe has enough dinos to never use phiomas or rollrats for their pooping abilities. Just a toilet and/or dung beetle on wonder. I like the idea of using honey as a higher taming food for herbivores, but maybe it should instead be a new honey based dish/kibble. I'd just rather not make it so similar to a dire bear. I really love the ideas for bug meat and smoker!
  3. I agree, I understand why they do it, but it seems a bit extreme. I'm not the chatty type, so this sort of thing will take me a lot longer than chatty people to leave. I really only wanted to react to people's responses. Even though basic chatting isn't blocked from new members, people often already said how I felt. Or something similar. So maybe they should rethink their idea of linking reactions to reputation. Just because I find several of a person's posts funny doesn't mean they're trustworthy or anything of the sort. So it's a bit weird to me.
  4. As it stands, our tribe just assumes they're eating from the closest trough. Still would be nice to know the other dinosaurs can't reach it, and are instead eating from the troughs closest to them.
  5. I like to aim for the top of light poles, seems like an easier target to hit. Especially when I'm getting lag.

This was literally my experience when I first played this game. Started playing and joined my sister on Scorched, was killed before I fully spawned in thanks to raptors...
  7. I don't think you can play mods on console.
  8. I think op, and any other rational person would expect them to at least check over a map before adding it to the game. And/or fix it as quick as they can when they find out about it. And a mana glitching through the skywall/roof is a problem for solo players. It's not game breaking, but it's one less dino that a player can reliably use. As well as a waste of resources trying to tame one. I don't quite feel as strongly as op about things, but after this many dlcs, we shouldn't have invisible dinos. Aberration still has issues with Rock Drakes falling through the map. Countless dinos lost through no fault of the player. Not to mention, while I agree with the devs removing dlc specific dinos from free maps. I'm disappointed that they didn't add something new and unique in their place. Valguero, a beautiful map, still feels a bit bland and vacant in some areas. I have no problem the game still having bugs in general. But bugs that cause the loss of a dino should be fixed relatively quickly. Even just having the devs acknowledge that they've seen our complaints about some of these things would go a long way.
  9. My sister and another tribemate use imprinted Megatheriums, seems to work well for them. And from what I recall, she can manage alright on her on. Just don't forget the bug buff before fighting it. I'm away from the game, so I'm relying on memory, but I believe their megas are over level 200. Can't remember how far they reached on imprinting.
