  1. Anybody know any servers where once you build you're not going to be wiped by alpha? I mean I know it's PVP but how are you supposed to build up when you can even get anywhere?

    Xbox one

  2. I purchased the ARK: Survival Evolved and I played 195 hours just on HOST\LOCAL. I have not been able to play the game for last 3 months – After I click on Host\Local and select Play Single Player, ARK starts to run, gets to BiomeWalls and displays:

The UE4-ShooterGame has crashed & will close. LowLevelFatalError [File:F:\SVN_Ark\Engine\Source\Runtime\CoreUObject\Private\UObject\LinkerLoad.cpp] [Line: 3818]. Bad name index 211484672/386. VERSION: 251.1. Etc, etc

My new laptop is fit for this game. I Googled Forum and You Tube and tried the following directives, but Ark crashed with same error every time:

    1. I deleted “ARK: Scorched Earth-Expansion Pack” that I bought on 9/9/2016 just in case that was causing the problem.

    2. I did “Clear Download Cache” a couple of times.

    3. I only have “BasicColorizationMat6” in Colorization (no BasicColorizationMat).

    4. I only have “504360469.mod” – no other Mods listed.

    5. I do not have “The Centre” Map.

    6. I deleted “Saved” folder on my D drive in ARK/ShooterGame/Saved.

    7. I run “Verifying Cache” several times as it shows “3 files failed to validate and will be reacquired” but nothing happens when I try to Play again.

    8. I UNINSTALLED and did a Fresh Reinstall TWICE (it took hours both times) but it did not fix it.

    9. So I created a new Steam Account and purchased another ARK: Survival Evolved game under new Account Name and unbelievably the same thing happened! “The UE4-ShooterGame has crashed & will close”

Can anyone offer a solution that actually works?  OR  Can anyone tell me how to contact someone who can help?

For starters, an error like this is not steam/account related, this is an issue related to your computer.

My best suggestion to you would be one of the two options below:

      1) Go here and browse through the search results and see if any resolve your issue (I'm at work and can't view steam to find it for you). https://www.google.com/search?q=ark+low+level+fatal+error&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#safe=off&q=ark+linkerload.cpp

      2) Go to the bar up top, click support, in the top right of the screen click Sign In, once signed in, click the button in the top right again that now says submit a request, select Technical Support, then fill out the ticket explaining your issue, so the devs/CS can look into your issue and get you help.

However, if your issue is common enough, hopefully someone on the forums might be able to help before the ticket gets resolved.
