Why the devs still sponsor him is beyond me, so many people I know have stopped entering all together because of this guy. Now he is entering under two names as to avoid people complaining that the same people keep winning. I seriously do not even mind others winning week on week as they seem gratefulll and complimentary to others. Kick him out or stop him from entering or at least forbi him from entering from two accounts.

Thank you GP this was needed for sure. There has been many players, including myself who think this every single crunch and a lot of people, again including myself, have quit over this negativity. I keep writing and deleting posts as I do not want to be the one coming of as negative or seen as someone who singles out one player. Don't think he will read it or even react to it, but others will thank you for calling him out. And to all winners and players featured you guys keep on amazing me with your creativity and general awesomeness

All things you say still doesn't exclude the fact that you can have one entry a week for a chance to win one category. It doesn't make a competition more complex, if you win Ansel you are excluded from all other cats. Be it that you enter one yourself or that you enter all cats but only get picked for one. I do not get that someone would have a problem with having 6 different winners each week, as it is fair in a friendly competition. There is no flamming discussion from my side, I just want is most fun for all and not what is most beneficial for one. People might call it millenial thinking and maybe it is. But again answer a simple question: would you spent as much time and effort on entering if there was no cash price? if there was just the participation aspect and the community aspect? If the answer is yes then you should not have any problems with the chance of winning one category per week but if the answer is no I come back to what I said earlier and will tell you you are entering this competition for the wrong reasons in my opinion. But as you said WC has to decide, but judging by the posts most people just want a fair and fun competition that isn't farmed because of the cash prices.

yup shouldn't be about entering on a weekly basis. The question should be, would you still enter a fan competition if there wasn't a cash price to win. And finally having the chance to have more people win each week shouldn't even be a discussion point, but should be something everyone automatically wants as it makes for a better and more awesome community

I am maybe the only one but I do take major offense to most things you say: A gaming competition shouldn't be for regulars but for everyone and I myself do not mind a thatch hut winning if I see that someone puts his heart and soul in to vanilla game play and has managed to built his own thatch hut which he/she is proud of. Why would only winning one category mean less exciting content, I think having 6 chances to win will even mean an increase in entries as chances increase and people get the feeling the stand a chance. The next one really blew my mind. You are basically saying that if you get forced to only participate in one category you will first of all choose the one that wins most money (no surprise there as we do know you only play for the money) but then you basically say you will have so much time spend on that one cat that your content will be so good it will always win??? Are you serious? And finally you want PGM to not be included, because you won this competition the most time of course and you want to keep entering outside of your other entries. Your whole post seriously proves my point that we just need to have an overhaul like Jat suggested as well and have one winner winning one category each week, this competition should be brought back to the people who love the game, not people who love the money.

Hi mate, Just want to say, do not change anything when building as you seem to built what you want and what you like and that should be the focus of you entering, not just to win. I would like a new rule which might help all players and entries: Just let one players win one or maybe even enter one competition a week. This will keep it fair and fun for everyone and will make it so that each week at least 6 players or fans of ARK can win something. Just an idea for the devs

go to the forums and under general discussion you will find a part you can submit entries or email them to staff or PM them to staff like Jat and Jen. The part you can submit to in general discussion ussually appears around thursdays or fridays

yup, it is what I keep missing in other games I play. yes ARK has Dino's but these do not seem to be the main thing about this game. You can PVE/PVP/RPG/FPS in a MMO environment. The mounts are amazing, breeding is awesome, but as a builder myself I can just get lost in building amazing bases and environments that I love.

Are you serious? bit of a sour loser arn't you. I won 5 out of 12 times I entered and never did I think the devs favored or disliked what I do, you just need to have passion for building and for this game, if you do it just to win, you probably won't. You sound like the mod makers who didn't win and started whining about rules and unfair judging, saying they invested a lot and hence needed to win. If you say you need to win to keep building you are seriously doing it for all the wrong reasons and others will keep winning cause they display the kind of passion for Ark (and not for price money) the devs love. The way the devs supported my builds have been incredible and yes it is a game promoting tool to show of the possibilities in the game. Questioning the way vids are judged is childish and makes you a bad loser.

well deserved, now they need to interview you for a mod spotlight for next one, come on devs she made an amazing mod and is developing even more awesome stuff. Gratz Eco.
