Never said anything about you having an opinion. He simply asked how someone could hate Basilosaurus, the answer is very simple: opinions differ. They don't always match up perfectly with yours.

Leedsichthys did introduce Prime Fish. You're definitely not wrong there. However, Leedsichthys has been the only creature in the waters to give Prime Fish. Could you imagine Ark if say, Brontos were the only creatures to give Prime Meat? They need more than just one creature to give Prime Fish, or else people would have trouble finding it. Plus the end statement is an opinion. Not everyone has to believe Basilosaurus is cool or *ahem* 'badass'.

+1 This is sooooo true. The minority may seem like the minority only because of how quiet they are. The majority only seems like the majority because of how loud they are. For example you have a room with 20 little kids and 30 young adults, the little kids are running all over the place and being noisy and obnoxious while the young adults are sitting quietly. It'll feel like the majority of people in the room are little kids because of what is going on. Just a little analogy. I myself enjoy the school fish aspect, but since Oncorhynchus was much bigger than they are leading on, it slightly disappoints me they chose it to fill that niche . Either way we're getting a new addition to Ark so there's no room for complaining, honestly! (:

Well, they won't bother you unless you want them to. Attacking one will result in the rest of their school to go on the offensive and essentially, try to drown you! Fun!

Small numbers really can accomplish a lot. Pretty sure the suggestion just gave the devs a really great idea so they decided to toy with it and it became this. I wouldn't worry too much about Basilo tbh, with the amount of support it has, it's probably got a free ticket for the Ark. ^^^

I mean, one person suggesting something so off the wall weird could really spark some inspiration for the devs when compared to something they hear about everyday, so I guess it makes sense they'd take a couple random suggestions such as this and incorporate them into the game.

I bet they'll save Basilosaurus for last. Just because that will make the hype train really take off. With these lesser wanted dossiers they're probably more so getting these guys out of the way for the bigger reveals. Possibly giving us a couple treats along the way. (Titanosaur I'm looking at you, you too Chalicotherium) Also I wouldn't say they made the suggestions thread because they're running out of inspiration/ideas or want us to fill in the final few slots. (which I'm sure we've got at least 15 dossiers, gotta remember we have the Desert Biome fillers) I'm pretty sure they did that just to clear the clutter of random threads of creature suggestions, and to make it more official.

Agreed. It'll be nice for variety purposes, but after the previously thrilling reveals we've had (Archaeopteryx, Megalosaurus, Titanosaur, and Chalicotherium) this one is very underwhelming. Still looks like a pretty interesting thing nonetheless.

Next update we'll likely get what PC got in their last update. (Dung Beetle, Dimetrodon, Beer + Beer Barrels, etc...) It'd be nice if we got up to date with PC in this update and received Gallimimus and the new toys they are getting, but it's highly unlikely...

Okay. When will these updates hit? I mean if you're releasing the spotlight that has to mean you're close to releasing the update, right? Also will Xbox be getting this update PC is getting as well? I'd like to be up to date with PC.

I know! It's even better than I thought as well! This thing will be the ultimate catapult replacement in PvP :D:D
