Yeah man, it totally works. I have roughly 103 dodos outside my base and I've never been attacked by a dodorex yet. People without that many dodos are reporting attacks. Dodos are like garlic to a vampire, or silver bullets to a werewolf. It makes sense.

Nah, you'll just have to tame a lot of dodos and you'll be fine.

It only attacks bases without lots of dodo's. I believe the number was 100. You'll have to tame them and keep them scattered around your base since the Dodorex doesn't attack its own kind, so it wont attack your base.

Can't say I didn't expect it. Maybe next year? I guess we'll find out the day of. Hurry up and announce an Xbox winter event so you can hype it up for a while and then pull it the day of the update.

Can you tame the Dodorex? I skimmed the topic and didn't see it asked. I did a quick search and saw some people mentioning that, when it spawns, you can walk up and just claim it for roughly 15 minutes. Is that for this/another event, or is this Dodorex just there for us to kill?

dude your rex story its really sad lol some one do that to me to when i started, if yo move in to my server (its official pve)i can give your tribe a rex lv 8 or 20 i dint remember his level and materials to build a base without problem
