  1. Game isnt starting again tonight, watched errors as I tried to start it and get this: Unable to start a DCOM Server: StudioWildcard.4558480580BB9_1.4.768.2_x64__1w2mm55455e38!AppARKSurvivalEvolved as Unavailable/Unavailable. The error: "317" Happened while starting this command: "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\StudioWildcard.4558480580BB9_1.4.768.2_x64__1w2mm55455e38\ShooterGame\Binaries\UWP64\ShooterGame.exe" -ServerName:AppARKSurvivalEvolved.AppX8dqae3jbqbp71qzw0jv2man0p45gr0c6.mca Looks like the same thing you posted
  2. Found this error repeated a few times around when I was trying to start the game: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160} and APPID {9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276} to the user redacted SID (S-1-5-21-2638812405-2702539702-1044508680-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

  4. Sadly upon trying to play again tonight it started crashing again. Uninstalling/Reinstalling scorched earth to see if it lets me play again now. Edit: Yes, the game runs now. Whatever issue it is, it's still there and for at least some of us the reinstall expansion workaround is still going.
  5. Can confirm that installing scorched earth allowed my game to launch fully
  6. Did all suggestions you had to fix crash on startup, but nothing worked. I had the original version that was released on the store last week, and the same thing is still happening now. Once freshly installed, I could play the game on single player fine. No crashes during gameplay or anything. When I shut the computer off, in both cases overnight, I turn it back on to find Ark crashing half a second past the blue load window with a smaller picture in the middle. No errors pop up, the window just opens and then closes shortly after, it doesn't freeze and need to be closed thru task manager. My g
