  1. Freshly wiped Official Servers Here is an idea. People love the thrill of starting fresh on a map but they also don't want to loose their hard earned valuables or tames. A fun solution might be (depending on player pop of these servers) 1-3 of each official map that wipe on a monthly basis (staggering maps on when they are wiped i.e rag servers wipe second week of month while extinction servers wipe 3rd week of the month) . On these severs you are able to transfer out with anything you find but you cant transfer anything except for your character to these servers. (Just like when a new map releases). This would allow for people that want to start fresh to do so while still giving long time players the ability to keep their bases and loot. No decision has to affect every ark.... make changes that appeal to everyone.... try new ideas if they don't work come up with another! Possible ideas: If population on these servers are high then maybe make a cluster of each map that wipes on a monthly basis like a cross ark cluster 1 - 4 where each week a different cluster is wiped on a different week of the month. Pros Encourages PVP at a core beginning level just as when a new map is released. Allows for fresh servers for new players to start on. prevents any 1 mega from having a hold on a sever for an extended time. would benefit PVE as they would have new server where at the end of the month they can pack up and transfer to a non - wiping official server. Balance on the official servers wont change since all tames and gear transferred out would be the same that could be obtained Appeals to both the "wipe it all" community and the "don't take all my hard earned loot" community. Cons Makes makes for a lot of new servers to be maintained. Let the community fill this section in.

  3. If a tribe mate builds a couple of these can anyone access the storage or do you have to unlock them to have access? Also, Is this still only unlockable by completing beta dragon on island or will rag work now? Thank you
  4. Interesting how the community as a whole was ready for the X2 and then before the weekend they announce they wont be having X2..... the back lash on the forums, on twitter, and everywhere in the community has been 100% negative. This event isn't a money grab for Wildcard so why would they not give the community what they ask for and enable the X2 this weekend? How disconnected is WC from their playerbase?
  5. Im on xbox lol if you wanna swing that way im down. Dont you guys already have the mana nerfs on pc?
  6. Manas stop moving when they use their ice breath.... i pvp against these all the time ide love to teach you how to play ark ?
  7. How about the other 7 counters to manas i listed? are any of those ok to use in pvp? The old meta is just who can bite the other giga first to enrage. Is that really what you want to go back to? At least with the mana you have added another level of complexity to pvp that takes wit to deal with not just mindless attack mashing to chomp other tames. Our tribe has awesome manas and when we raid we bring a wide array of tames. you need soakers, dps, healers, and utility dinos to deal with all the things that come at you. manas are just one tool in the chest and unless you learn how to use the others your will forever be stuck getting smashed by those that have skill.
  8. Are you not reading the rest of the post or just the ones that match your agenda? lol there are multiple ways to counter. In fact there are more ways to counter the mana than any other tame used for pvp. 1) Dino leash this is 100% the most effective counter if you don't understand this and complain about manas get out of here...... 2) dismounting tames i.e micro raptor 3) players sniping riders 4) dealing literally any damage to mana. - this interrupts the frost breath and allows for escape 5) Other manas... granted this is the answer you hate to see even though they are ridiculously easy to tame with them getting stuck in the air when knocking out. 6) battery turrets.... want me to explain these too? they need to be set on player only... 7) poison tames ( Poison wyvern and basilisk are able to shoot out of dino leash range 100% protected granted the shots are slow moving you are protected and can kill players off soaking tames at the same time) 8 ) grapple hooks using a high weight character grapple the mana with a heavy inventory this will prevent it from moving while grappled. Lets say 50% of people dislike manas (a generous assumption) in PVP and 80% of people like them in PVE (idk why anyone would dislike them in pve but for arguments sake we will say 80). By making these posts the 35% of players that are unhappy with manas ruin it for the 65% of players that enjoy them as they are. If you want to address a real reason why people are leaving ark make a post about how broken meshing/under-mapping is. *mic drop*
  9. ^^^^ Lycan is 100% right manas don't need a nerf people need to learn their counters. place dino leashes around your base and it goes back to raiding without manas it 100% nullifys them. The "get gud" is the truth! People that cant just walk up and pike something to defend themselves are the ones complaining on the forums. A vast number of pvpers love them both offensively and defensively and there are still loads of way to deal with them on both ends. The mana is a niche tame any nerf to it ruins the tame as a whole.
  10. For some reason dino leash nullify mana's breath go set one up and try and shoot into or out of it. we have these things spammed all over our base which basically takes them out of the game. It works about 85% of the time.
  11. Dino leash counters managarmers ez.
  12. They are used for soaking turrets in pvp. their spines protect the rider from getting shot so they are good soakers.
