Great update but Please Fix cryopoding Dino to change their Imprint requirement like before.

last update broke it and when we cryopod dino, they no longer change  their imprinting.

    Thanks.

I doubt re-rolling imprint requests was ever an intended effect of using cryopods. We're lucky to have been able to exploit something that remained uncorrected for such an absurdly long time.

As far as paying for ASA goes, this is a pretty decent price by now, and aside from the people who cling to wanting a free game, there is no reason to complain about it given the amount of content.

Many of the "people who cling to wanting a free game" have already given WC plenty of money.....for the same game and content. And don't even get me started as to what constitutes a pretty decent price for what is now officially an early access game.

Yeah, considering the Incubator demonstrates the 'tech' works now we need some kind of handheld device to determine gestating baby stats.

    That's a great suggestion.

I'd also like the see, at the Tek tier, a device that you can use to modify the baby in the egg/in utero and ensure colours and stats you want at the cost of Element Shards/Dust. Like a 'Tek Gene Sequencer'. You're limited to the colours and stats the parents already had, so it wouldn't upset balance - it just cuts down the time it might take to get the baby with the colours and stats you want. Unless you get absolutely lucky on your first breeding.

Ultrasound scanners and CRISPR ftw 😁

I'd be more impressed with the dedibox changes if you'd let us place them on skiffs for easier moving things around.

It might be too easy to abuse the fact that dedis can float.
Imagine placing a foundation on a skiff and snapping a bunch of dedis to it, flying the skiff to some destination, and then destroying the foundation, leaving floating dedis. Being able to strategically place a floating dedi floor to stage operations from could be a little op ;)

I appreciate that we will not see breeding event, since I think most people already know that the servers can hardly handle it. But would be appreciated if we could get some kind of tek structure, where we can feed dinos into, and use for mutation breeding. This way all tribes don't need 500 dinos of one kind, out at the same time, just to mutation breed. Smaller locations would become viable for base spots as well.

Just give us CRISPR already! 😁

Not really. Nothing is supposed to be able to leave the border, or be outside it.

??? Why do they need to be visible? They are borders, they will stop you going into kill zone

Nothing is supposed to be able to leave the border, or be outside it...

...until something does, like something did, repeatedly while wc was diddling with the anti-mesh system during the event. And yes, I believe simply killing the character and destroying its inventory in lieu of any number of alternatives allowing for recovery really is unelegant, particularly considering the absence of any replacement policies.

Why do they need to be visible? They are borders, they will stop you going into kill zone...

...until they don't, like they didn't. Look, this has now become just one of many trust issues players have with this game. Someone expressing a desire for a useful indicator to help navigate an unreliable situation shouldn't really be met with such confusion.

  7. "Soon, we will be updating world barriers on all maps so that anything outside of a world border will be destroyed. Boom."

SMH. This is such an unelegant way to handle meshing detection from both a coding and a policy perspective. Just more of the same lazy, half-assed approach to yet another aspect of this game. Sure, destroy hours of progress to teach those horrible meshers a lesson. Who cares if the vast majority of players are literally doing everything they can to NOT get meshed, to no avail due to whatever happens to be broken on any given week. 🤦‍♂️

  8. Logged in after dinner and immediately teleported from my tek sleeping pod out into the water in front of my base where I discovered a bunch of dinos that shouldn't have been there...all on passive, none on follow/wander. Then I checked the log and found 16 dead dinos without explination, most which were irreplaceable stat/colored dinos from nearly two years of events.

    Official Island 82.
