Yes!!!! Thank you!!!! I couldn't find any info on alpha and beta dates for the Xbox one version but a lot of console players fail to realize that this is in fact pre-alpha on console. This confirms my sanity. Thank you! If you find the thread that has the console release time lines (alpha, beta and full release) please quote me and link the location so I can link it to others as well.

You would think that in the gaming industry, seeing someone's artistic product, portfolio or programming skills would be preferable to 4 years history in the industry. That literally tells us that you can't get into making video games professionally unless you're already making video games professionally. There are so many talented people going to waste on this side of the controller because they can't get the "experience" that they need.

A few things - 1- sorry it took way too long to respond to this. 2- I thought Beta wasn't supposed to hit until March or April (which would then put this post Alpha/pre beta... unless you have a more specific timeline I can resource) so you were right about it not being a Pre-Alpha build. 3- Microsoft Game Preview Program allows players to play as its being developed and the players are always first to tell you when something is broken. It's kind of our thing... 4- Paid Game Preview isn't the same as buying the finished product. We're only paying for the finished product but getting to play with it sooner. It's like buying a chasis with all the components that makes the car run but no shell, doors or seats... then complaining that you're cold because we can't roll up the window... we all know this is still unfinished with missing pieces. 5- yes! We all have the right to complain about any product we sink our money into. That's how the developers know how to fix it so they can get more money. My point was not that we shouldn't complain but that we should complain in a location where our complaints matter. Like the bugs report thread. Complaining on the ANNLUNCEMENTS thread is a pointless waste of breath.

Laziness is probably best reserves for after a game hits full release. Time and effort must be put into developing a title and what a company hopes to achieve in a certain time frame BEFORE a full release is still an acceptable delay in content. DESTINY had the same problem but far worse as NOTHING that was promised was EVER released after the full release of the game. Since ARK is still in PRE-ALPHA stage there really is nothing to complain about since any estimates made before a game releases is part of an unfinished product.

Hopefully the gun wasn't pointed at you... that's never the proper side of a gun to be on. Try posting about it in the "bugs and glitches" forum and see if anyone else is experiencing this same issue.

Yes. That's a valuable asset in this game and devs need to know these things. However, by NOT commenting on the issue in the "bugs" topic thread, the devs may not read this complaint.

I'm sure the REASON is that the game isn't released yet. We're paying to test the game. Plain and simple. You know all those juicy alpha builds people want in on? Well... this is it. Instead of criticizing a game that's not done, how about offering a constructive bug report? That way devs can see what the update broke. Just an idea.
