Extinction and Ragnarok PS4 PVE Official Had an exciting weekend myself. Tribe of three, we have been working towards taming titans for gamma King Titan Fight. We are just practice taming at this point so we will be good enough to go get all three for the king titan. We have our base in the desert and have tamed the desert titan numerous times but never tried the ice or forest. That being said, I dont know why it took us this long to try the other titans as apparently the desert is said to be the tougher of the three tames. Well i think they are right, we tamed up both the ice and forest in less time than we have ever tamed the desert. We used meks for both ice and forest, IT WAS A BLAST.

Extinction PS4 Official Thought i'd share that it is possible to find the HOLY GRAIL Rex bp....141.8 Still in shock and so sad that it will not stay at this armor rating for too long..SERVER RESET WILL KNOCK IT DOWN TO 124.0

Having a great time with the event, next we'll be going to abb for some reapers, drakes and crabs this weekend WooHoo!!

So we will have to transfer drake and wyvern eggs from another map to make this kibble now, am I missing something. No way to get these eggs naturally on extinction, and you cant tame hesperonis from the caves anymore, so whats up? Why would they move titanboa to superior? HELP me understand?

So you could bring a few metal dino gates and place them down in a circle around the drop, you'd have to be pretty quick about it. It's kind of resource heavy but you're probably getting free ones from the drops anyways right! This will allow you to stay back a bit and not get pounded on top of the drop by 30 spinos/rexes/trikes, hopefully lessening the chance of a rage, those red 100k drops will put up with quite a bit of punishment, just thinking out loud, saw lucky by nature try it in a video. SOLO IS TOUGH Another idea i had but havent tried is a quetz with plat saddle full of velonosaurs (5 or 6 mate boosted), parked and hovering above the drop, quetz on passive, velos on turret mode aggressive, this should shred the wyerns in theory.... its alot of work tho...maybe too much.

I've had problems with my giga enraging from having too many enraged trikes/rexes at my feet when chompin thru..... could have been dismounted by getting enraged and just didn"t notice?

Extinction 997 PS4 So we found a giga, level 145 female and decided to take it down and tame it. Gotta luv those ascendant longneck rifles we got from our gachas. We've got a trap just outside the snow biome, top right of the map just in the wastes. So getting it trapped was a breeze, but as we were kiting it to the trap we noticed the lag was interfering with its aggro, it would aggro us for a sec or two, we'd get a lag spike and have to re-aggro it over and over again, we didn't have to go far, but was definitely noticing something was off. Our server ping had been floating around 150 all day and would spike to 255 every hour probably. So we have it trapped and unconscious now, been about 30 min and all is well, narc-ing the sh*t out of it as usual, keeping the torpor up on it. Out of nowhere a damn managarmar starts being a pest, we call in some friends and they took care of it quickly, though during this time i had to back away from narc-ing the giga and help kite the managarmar away, not been gone more than a minute dealing with the managarmar and i get back to the giga which has dropped about 20k torpor from 90k down to 70k. I thought, well ok thats not bad there's plenty of cushion still, so i start narc-ing again. I'm watching the torpor now and something strange is happening, torpor is raising slowly as it should but now about every 3 seconds or so it would drop at least 500-800 and then continue to rise for a few seconds but again would drop nearly 500 every few seconds. WHATS HAPPENING! I CANT KEEP UP WITH THIS, NARCS ARE NOT EVEN REGISTERING NOW. It was nearly 30 more minutes of fighting this and we were all the way down to 26k torpor from 70k. I had been narc-ing the entire time but was not gaining torpor. At this point its been over an hour and we were starve taming it for raw mutton, 1hr 38min on 2x . Well we got it down to 3 min remaining before tame would finish, shoved all the mutton on it and we ran out of time, it got to 50% and torpor ran out. IT WOKE UP. Moral of the story, use kibble, would have tamed in 30 min or so and would not have had the problem with narcs not registering. Or dont tame gigas when theres high ping on the server, makes it a nightmare. Just thought i'd share to see if anyone else has had this happen, and hope it dont happen to you.

A work around for a tame capped server, if you find something you have to have, and you have a dino you're willing to cull/kill to get this one. Knock said creature out, keep it unconscious, don't put food in inventory. Use the dododex starve timer to tell you when its food value has dropped enough that it will consume all food to tame it up. Kill your extra dino to make room on the server for this new one, as soon as the "too many dinos" changes to "put food in inventory" , put the food in now and watch it tame up. If someone else is doing the same thing at the same time on the server you may have to kill another useless dino you have laying around. You know u have a few extra useless dinos.

The icons inside the beacons are for porting to the boss arenas, put the required items in the obelisk/beacon and you can go fight the boss, green is gamma (easy boss), blue is beta (medium level), and red is alpha (hard level). There are three bosses to complete on the island, broodmother, megapithecus, and dragon, each unlocking different engrams. You can also transfer to other servers (other maps, ragnarok, scorched, aberration) which are in your cluster through the obelisk/beacons. Official is separate cluster from legacy and so on.

Didn't go so well in the cave of shadows yesterday with our 2 raised ravagers, it was the crabs and the baryonyx that eventually took us, we got all the way through (though next time we will be bringing some rockets) and were able to each grab an artifact but we were not able to get out. I had died at least twice trying to kill crabs it there, they pick you off your tames so quickly and have to sit there in its grasp and shotgun it to death, got lucky with the three before the artifact chamber as they were low levels, 20's or so, but on the return we were met with some newly spawned baryonyx in the water tunnels that destroyed us. The cindaria I thought were going to be bad but they die easily to crossbow and arrows, the barrys are just too fast to crossbow, they'd eventually dismount you and then theres not much you can do besides sit and watch your **** die. We crept through each area crossbowing and kiting as we went along, I don't think the strategy was wrong but just got excited once we had it and made a mad dash to get out not seeing the barrys in the deep area. We will try again this weekend, it says in the wiki that it is possible to raise drakes in the cave, and venom is not an issue as nameless spawn on command with no glow pet. We may try barryonyx aswell. Any suggestions from you guys would be appreciated. Thanks!

Spent the holiday weekend on Ab as our other servers are all tame capped, was a good time as we raised two of theses exceptional fellas. Me and my tribemate both got impregnated by ths same queen so we now have 2 red event reapers.....we're so spoiled....lol Also raised two ravagers in the cave of shadows, will be farming for the artifact this week, should be fun with the ravs in there!

Spent the majority of the weekend on Aberration again, as most of our other official ps4 servers are at cap, Island and Ragnarok. We did raise another thyla on rag in the ice cave to farm the ice queen, lost one last week to a worm at the end of the top part, didn't leave him on neutral, logged in friday to a death message on it. No biggie right, just raise another....lol... shoudn't have left it there, well I know now. Had to kill a few of my ptera breeds to be able to get it to gestate. Went to abberation Saturday morning to birth our reapers, 125 level queen impregnation + 75 levels harvested, oh yea 200 reaper baby. Its going well with the raise, 70 percent this Monday morning when I filled troughs. Hatched a few boss aberant spinos we acquired from an island trade, 6500+ hp and 425 melee on hatch, got a male and female, very happy with that. Also bred and hatched our 2 kib tamed 180 female tek stegos (we tamed them on the center and ragnarok) with a cheap male we found, hatched 7 eggs and only got 1 with the hp and melee we're looking for, not the best but 5500hp and 366 melee, not too bad for tamed ones, no mutations yet. Happy to get the spinos and stegos going for the Rockwell fight. We've been on aberation since it released but am just now spending some time there getting ready for boss runs. Birthed a few ravengers, out of 7 we kept 3, got 880 weight stat and a health mutation to 3760. Tamed an event 120 rav for colors, red and black is nice, we'll breed it into our stats later. Hads some fun with a few crab tames, found a 145 grey event but was struggling as it had low health only 4700, so we killed it and 10 mins later we were blessed with another 145. This one was orange/bronze color with purple veins throughout. We tamed that one and while doing so had decided that we need a better and more refined trap. So spent the evening making an entirly new trap, turned out very nice. I'll post a pic later. As I was building said trap my tribemate and a friend on the server went to look for basilisk, we usually find at least one up by the nexus, we did, only a level 90 but its colors were awesome, red black and some pinkish highlights. We've not found any over level 100 on our server yet, probably because we dont spend too much time in blue, heard they spawn well down there. Also aquired 2 150 female spinos, trapped the first one and not 3 mins later another 150 had spawned. Now i know i have my boss spinos breeding but I just cant pass on a 150 tame, and by now its 3am and i've been playing since 7am this morning, I NEED TO SLEEP, BUT I ALSO NEED TO TAME THESE...LOL. I kibble tamed em after bringing over the argy kib from our island server. All in all a very successful weekend again, oh and we farmed about 10 drake eggs from the trench too, kept getting 170's and 165's to respawn.... very excited to hatch em.
