Just me getting ideas for a new Iguanodon saddle, I hate the original one alot so I needed something nicer for mine.

Just a WIP shot of my over packed Trike saddle, its just a in game mock up of what I have in mind I am going to remake it with ropes around all the stuff ect. The box is alittle odd looking because it needs a new normal map texture which I didnt make really well for the test version. Sorry about the DOF being alittle strong first time messing around with the settings in game lol. Guess I kinda need to make a WIP thread of somthing to post all my WIP pictures? Check out my other artwork to see the finished Parasaur Farming Saddle too. Thumbs ups and comments help me judge if people are interested or not.

So here is the mostly final version of my new Parasaur "Farming" saddle, I need to tweak the basket normal map so ignore the odd shadowing on top of those. This saddle is more for RP options then anything, the front baskets have berries (blue and purple) in them and the back baskets have on one side corn and potatoes on the other along with a wood/thatch bundle on the back of the saddle. I then added a simple saddle blanket as well as a actual bridle with reins, since I have no idea how you steered the dino without anything there. Second Parasaur in the back also has a simple halter on, I hated leaving my dinos around my farm with a full saddle and bit still on but I also hated not being able to ride them quickly to move them around. So the halter lets you ride the dino but gives it a casual and more comfy look. My plans for this mod is I want to give the many dinos some more interesting saddle options, ranging from utility saddles (such as farming saddles or even hunting saddles for the meat eating dinos) to huge over flowing merchant saddles and I hope to add even some armors. Not every dino will get all the saddle options but I hope to give at least two or three to each one I work on. I also plan on adding banner flags you can put on the back of your dino's saddle. I am going through some tough times in RL and needed something to take my mind off things, so I learned how to get meshes from Blender into ARK . So here is a early shot of my WIP Parasaur Utility Saddle, complete with bridle and berry basket. All of this is of course just a rough draft and needs tweaking and a full texture overhaul. But I am happy with it and it works in game lol. I used the Parasaur as a good starting point, i do have plans for other dinos. I just am having trouble deciding on what slot to use, skin slot would be the best and easy.... Only you can not use the saddle torch feature which I like. ): Post your thoughts, the more interest the more likely for a release.
