    Yep everyone had the discount this morning, it had changed right now and only scorched buyers have the discount right now. But there is still the price problem ... I wont pay 27€ for something a new buyer can buy for 40€. I did not purchased the DLC last year to pay more than a new user .... Even if it's 7€ ... You are Right on that point i have the same opinion. If I could refund the DLC Then buy the season pass i'll do it because it's cheaper for me ....

I purchased scorched because it was fun then they punish me with a little more money to had believed in them ? They didn't announced a season pass when scorched released !     even with that discount : I paid 20€ for scorched when released. the current price of the pass is 27€ with the discount. If I did not owned the DLC i would had to pay 40€for Scorched + pass. If I buy the pass right now it will be 20€ +27€ = 47 € for the same thing. Don't see where is the problem ? I'll pay more than other people for the same thing because I already owned it ? Oo

    I bet that the price for each DLC will be 20€ each -> then a season pass for 40€ is fair. but right now if you have scorched but not the season pass you will need to buy the pass ( wich include scorched too ) for 40€ after the launch discount... That's a problem. They should put an uprade to the season pass for scorched earth's owner

    A new player that want to buy scorched earth right now who don't want to buy the season pass but want scorched now for reason will pay 20€ for scorched+ 40€ for the season pass. THAT is a problem.

For now on steam the price of : the game -> 60€ scorched -> 20€ Season pass -> 40€ ( including scorched ) I already own the game + scorched ( buyed day 1 for both ) then if I want to have the season pass I need to pay 40€ ... ( even if there is a launche discount right now it's 27€ ) It's for 3 extensions ( scorched + 2 more ) if the price are 20€ for both it should save us 20€ to buy the season pass. The correct price for me isn't "20€" for the season pass ? like an upgrade pack ? because if I buy the pass right now it's like i paid 20€ + 40€ = 60€ ( + 27€ with the 33% discount so 47€ for me ... Oo ) That's not fair !

    As A server Admin I want an option that can allow me to have a full customisation on Taming time / ressources Any chances to have this options : * TamedDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier -> To avoid the consumption of ressource after taming ( when foodDrain is up ) * WildDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier -> To tweak the speed of taming whitout affect the tamed dinos ( when foodDrain is up and avoiding the effect on tamed dinos ) * WildDinoTorporDrainMultiplier -> To have a use of narcotics ( because of TamingEfficiency make narcotics almost useless en taming time is less than offi ) * PassiveTameIntervalMultiplier -> To adjust the interval between 2 feeding tentative for passive tame dinos ( because if the foorDrainMultiplier is greater than 2 the dino is dying when trying to tame it ) The why i want that : Detailed Explanation
  9. I think that you mis understand me ... I played enought wih setting of the server to know that it's impossible to have what i want without the settings i'm asking for ... I don't want reduce the food consuption.... I want to reduce the time WITHOUT reducing the need of narcotics nor food ... And that is the problem ... it's not possible.

It's not on official -> It's on my server Context : I wanted to have a better rate of taming without reducing the need to farm ressources for that. <- this is important. I have at my disposition some settings to do it : * TamingSpeedMultiplier * DinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier * PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[2] -> Torpor * PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[4] -> Food * PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoWild[2] -> Torpor * PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[4] -> Food Let's take a rex lvl 120 - difficulty - 4.0 -> defaut settings and trying to tame it with rawmeat & narcotics ( to simplify calculations ) * 7h10 of taming time * 215 rawmeat * 770 narcotics * 27% efficiency -> lvl 136 at the end of taming We don't have 7h to tame a rex ( guarding it etc ... ) on a small server Then let say we want it down to ... 2 hours : Same rex with TamingSpeedMultiplier=4 : * 1h48 of taming time ( Sounds good right ? ) * 54 raw meat ( meh ? ) * 30 narcotics ( meh ? ) * 85.5% efficiency -> lvl 171 at the end of taming ( ???? ) Okey the timing is good BUT why 85.5% efficiency ? Oh yeah Taming efficiency ... I don't want that ! and it's food/narcotics free rex No needs to use kibble here ( except for taming time & 0 narco rex & 8lvl more ... ) Anyway let's try this way : Same rex with DinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier=4 : * 1h48 of taming time ( Same time... good ! ) * 215 raw meat ( perfect ! ) * 29 narcotics ( meh ? Again ... ) * 27% efficiency -> lvl 136 at the end of taming ( Good too ) This time it's far better ! Taming time is good, efficiency, Kibbles have an interest too but ... Torpor ... -> narcotics free Rex You have a big drawback : Your tamed dino are using the food quicker than ever ! Do you feel the start of the headache ? If you want to increase the narcotics needed you can : * PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoWild[2] = 0.25 That should do the stuff about torpor BUT they will be easier to make them sleepy. And what about Food Drain now ? To solve the first problem you can increase the resistance of dino but you will need to balance the damage of players & tamed dinos to be the same than before ( without forgeting the buildings in the settings ) * PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[4] = 4.0 This only increase the pool of food ... you will still ned to farm 4x more food. * HarvestResourceItemAmountClassMultipliers -> For each food Yeah that could balance the problem for the tamed dinos BUT the wild will be far easier to tame because you will have 4x more meat gathered ... You can still reduce the food havested -> you will need to reduce the food consuption of player AND that will not solve the problem of narcotics ... Anyway I tried many things to avoid this PSA but there is no way to solve that problem without the ark Devs Now let's think about the DinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier=4 -> there is an hidden problem behind this one The passives tamed Dinos. When the are hungry they loose the taming progress & life. At this point you have a BIG problem : * They Die of hunger quicker than you can tame them * The waiting timer is not scaled with the food consuption multiplier * Food are not efficient enought to tame it before seeing it dying * You simply can't tame high level due to taming loose There is a solution : Adding 4 settings in the game.ini that don't exist right now : * TamedDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier -> To avoid the consumption of ressource when tamed * WildDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier -> To tweak the speed of taming * WildDinoTorporDrainMultiplier -> To adjust with the wildDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier to have a real use of narcotics for dinos * PassiveTameIntervalMultiplier -> To adjust the interval between 2 feeding tentative for passive dinos Thanks for reading and i'm open to any question about that problem.
