Official launch Aug 29th for single player, the countdown Sept 1 is for official server launch. I lied. Other than that, it is now past 10am "Easterm" (Toronto time atm 11:30 AM). Confirmed daylight savings time did not change today. Confirmed I live in Eastern Time Zone. got all of the achievements on steam, except for the survivor of the center, which the game doesn't really want to give me even though I am doing what it asks. Logging on my soon to be Ragnarok Legacy server and deciding what to do with my stuff since I will be joining the new servers. Pondered how I will miss this base on viking's bay. How my gf will not have time to play with me anymore. Where should I build my base now? Questions questions... Happy Friday everyone!

Really? To suggest new players to join existing PVE players at this state would mean subjecting WildCard to be the developers who's game is overrun by cheaters? That's a bad, bad stigma. WC made a smart move to add a fresh experience for new players. And they also didn't wipe. This is already doing a lot, so please quit the QQ.

You will have the chance to move to another Legacy server, or the option of downloading the backup and go unofficial/offline. However unfortunate that may be, I think it's pretty fair. You'd only have to rebuild your base (they will probably compensate somehow) if you want to stick with official. Unofficial/SP would make no difference if you were playing solo or with a tribe of 3 on an empty server, imo.

They have officially stated that legacy servers will continue to be supported though.

they will be adding NEW ragnarok maps for Legacy players, to be transfered to and fro legacy servers ONLY. so yes, that means they will also add NEW RAG SERVERS for legacy! wahoooo. If I read correctly.

They will be adding new ragnarok "legacy servers" so that people who are planning to transfer to ragnarok from a legacy server, will still be able to do so. If i read correctly.

Sorry but what if the topics discussed by these 3 people could potentially affect many more people who are afraid to voice it. WC just proved to us that they do listen, and of course I trust they take every feedback into consideration as well before making "decisions after 10 posts". Thanks again.

Look, advantage or not over PVE or PVP, wouldnt you guys agree that a functional in-game economy adds value to the game?

Agreed - I would like to have an in-game economy as there would be none if the servers stay the way they are.

People have taken advantage of the numerous glitches, dupes on PVE servers. It's not big of a deal as in PVP, but it is still demotivating. Here is to a player wishing for some "cleaning" on existing PvE servers on launch at least?
