nope, basically the server running like poop really meant that every server save was corrupted for the past week. There was a problem with the server, we complained , they did nothing, and now we lost all the late nights, early mornings we spent on this on our holiday.

I just lost 652.7% melee bloods, the 640 melee one is now still raising. Not to mention, every trade I carried out - just lost every thing from the last week. Over 2k tek structures at least lost.

feels like halloween 2018 all over again. 1 day event completely lost everything gained by this same thing. Only this is more epic in fail.

I've reported it over 11 hours ago, and I'd check the outage list like mod Eli stated to do , but Eli never included a link to the list of known outages. 562 reset to day 1 after the patch last night and it's only on day 10 still, so I'm assuming all my work on blood wyverns there is just on pause indefinitely? Just reached the 20th melee mutation on them a few days ago. This is a pretty RAPTORY way of rewarding everyone on the server for the end of Christmas event. Here I was about to get 653% base damage blood crystal wyverns out to the world....

What's up with the servers? I'm getting booted randomly now. I've only been on for an hour, but I've had to log back onto the server 3x already. This is just as bad as Genesis has been for the last several months. I sure hope this doesn't become a permanent feature of crystal isles. I was enjoying it being one of the few maps that was "relatively" stable to play on for the last few months.

We suspect certain players are ddosing the servers to chase away other players.

can you still access the purple drop if the spikes are there? cus I'm pretty sure you can still reach it.

I've been waiting some time now, and now that the Network Status says Healthy, I'm assuming it forgot about this server.

the charcter # is on the animals you have imprinted. In future keep a copy of your implant after dying. but if you are a solo player, getting these details might be impossible for you.

if it's not on either server and not in cloud, it's gone.

Sometimes they don’t show on list but are up. Good way to check if it’s offline for real is battlemetrics.

the implant has an id# on it that they can make sure it's lost on the network. Lots of people name their characters the exact same name across their account. Only way to show which character it is for reals is by the # on the implant. sadly most players only show up on the forums after problems occur. Most of the best practices arise in conversations here. Unfortunately it's a game that requires too much research to figure out how to play w/ minimum losses to the bugs.

If you lose everything, I would suggest making a second account, use that to create a tribe and have an ally who's in a larger tribe join you for a second to invite your main account into the tribe at which point they can leave it. THen if you ever lose your main accounts character - your ownership isn't lost and u can get on your other account and feed your dinos. Steam allows for account sharing between family, so you can create a second steam account and link it to yours as a family account and then you don't have to have a second copy of the game to do this. Should that not be an issue, one thing you can do - is level up to 100 real fast do bosses like rockwell and the tek cave. You'll most likely have enough time to do all that by the time they get around to restoring your stuff. When they level you up, it's max xp - so if you have the extra bonus levels unlocked, you will level up all the way.

I'm told, when riding the astrocetus, do not double teleport, or else you go to 50,50 on map and then it kills you and the whale. Oh, and don't use genesis teleport w/ a giga out , it will mesh and destroy the giga.

Always keep a latest copy of your implant pulled from one of ur bodies.

well yes, when it's only 2 files it is just that. That time though it fixed 7. THis time though it went out again doing all the same things like somehow my isp was disconnected from all the NA servers and resources from WC including your website at the same time. It maybe something else entirely, and it was just the passage of time that allowed to resolve itself.

someone suggested this to me the other day, validate your game files. I did last time and it found 7 to fix and problem went away for 2 days... now i'm doing it all over again.. WC could save us hours by just posting the damn files in a little package that we could just swap out when it goes bad... faster than making us all wait hours for a game to revalidate over and over again. or just fix the game, i'll take either at this point.

This is the first time I've heard this recommendation. I've heard warnings in the past to be careful or we could end up kicking our char out of the tribe and losing our stuff. Glad to know the recommended method of purging. BUt now , what's going on w/ the game files corrupting and not being able to find the servers on the network?

Just now, I can no longer see about 80% of the servers, and this site doesn't load w/out a vpn. Last time, I had to verify files and found 7 files to fix which fixed the game. The website myseriously fixed itself at the same time. What the hell is going on? I've never had this happen before and 2x w/in 3 days is not ok.

Completely agree. Since they don't have a large wall variant, and I've seen people use those to the point , my computer goes down to 1-2 fps if i even look in their direction. I have a hard time imagining how the owners even load their own bases.

I totally dont agree it’s all the Dino’s out, it’s also the structures themselves. The more built up a server is the more problems they have versus fresher servers.

46 is either being attacked by players from a certain country to make it all their own or the server resides on hardware that is failing. I'm preparing to move off the server , if WC can’t figure it out , who will.... no one that’s who. ive had to resort to reporting the outage every time now cus if I don’t the server will be down for hours,, like last night I was going to bed when I saw it down for an hr , I would have reported but I was sleepy and thought I’d get to it in the morning. I sort of figured it would be out until the morning....

There is a problem with gasbags on ext. WHen floating out of the tunnel leading out of the sunken forest, should the gasbag hit the ceiling in that tunnel, it will teleport above the entire area up above the map. Should you not have enough air at that point, you are gonna have trouble landing w/out killing you or the mount. -
Very true, I'm hoping they do something I would find consistent with the theme of Tek by letting Tek animals drop dust instead of meat.

we use scorps to tame stuff , they arent' only usefull for eggs. They can tranq my new found eggers all day long.
