AVENGED

A little bit of info on the Golden Giga tame. Logged on and fed everybody on the Island, then went to Ragnarok to feed. Decided I was tired of waiting and was going for the Giga. Loaded up tranqs, Narcs and three xbows, jumped on one of my Argies and headed to the Highlands. Started kiting her to my trap, she kept getting stuck on the gate and working her way around the sides, so I'd repeat and try again. Finally got her in the gate and flew quickly around to close the gate. I flew up to it and pressed Y, and dismounted... Fell to the ground and before I could react I was dead. Respawned at our Highlands base, jumped on the Equus we keep there and raced to save my Argy, and retrieve my gear. Fortunately, the Argy was just out of reach of the Giga, and I positioned my Equus right out of range of the Giga, circled around, closed the gate, grabbed my gear, whistled for my Argy, and retreated a safe distance. Began spamming tranq arrows into the Giga and at some point my Equus decided to attack the Giga and was killed instantly. Have no idea what happened there. Brought her down and stood by with Narcoberries, keeping her torpor at Bay. At one point a scorpion wandered over to try and attack me through the cage, and I dispatched it with my Argy. Fortunately, the scorpion didn't hit the Giga, so I lost no taming effectiveness. Sent post tame pictures to my brothers, fed the Giga a brontosaurus and logged.

I've always had good luck with them. At least you got it settled.

T and I are going on a fishing trip all weekend, so B is going do some grinding and hold down the fort while we're away. B moved to Florida about a year ago, so he's too far away to come with us. T and I are going to Florida to visit him in a few weeks though. Anyway, we decided to take a break from grinding today and went back to Ragnarok. Took one of our lightning wyverns and two Rex's out for deathworm horns. B really wants a Mantis. Killed three pretty easily, gathered up their horns and went back to our main base. Took a Griffin over to the scar, hunting for 150+ lightning or fire eggs. Couldn't find any that made the cut, so we decided to go look for a high level Tuso. Found a 145 female and I cleared out the threats while B and T went to grab our taming motorboat. Dropped our 22K health turtle in the water, swam down and started taming. All went well and we're now the proud owners of a Tuso. Swam her back to our water base (after each us took turns joyriding). Drove the motorboat home and logged. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Built materials for our Island base for a few hours yesterday. Broke up the grinding with a few "survival challenges". Dropped T off on Herbivore Island, his challenge was to swim across, and make it back on foot alive. He was killed by a Manta before he got halfway. Dropped B off on top of the Volcano. He fell to his death. They dropped me off on Carno Island, with the rule that I had to swim off the island. Swam across with no difficulty and made my way home. Was probably a hundred yards from our base when I was cheated by B and T dropping a Therizino right on top of me... Killed them both when I respawned, and we went back to work.

If that doesn't work, try contacting nitrado support (if you haven't already). They're usually very helpful and have resolved a few issues on my servers.

T, B, and I logged on today, fed our dinos on Rag, and headed for our new Island server. T and B enjoyed flying around reminiscing for a few minutes before going to work. B ran the Mammoth down into the forest for wood, while T and I gathered stone and crafted materials for our perimeter wall. Somehow, B managed to wander all the way to the volcano and run right into a Giga... Rip Mammoth. Picked up B, and dropped him off at Carno Island to think about what he'd done. T and I continued working while B built a raft and escaped. He managed to work his way back to our base, (resourceful punk) shot us both with tranq arrows, and after a brief scuffle, we laughed it off and continued working. Managed to build quite a few materials and we all logged after a few hours.

Golden Giga is still wandering the Highlands, taunting me. She will be mine! Anyway, didn't do much this weekend. Got another server, so we could go back to the Island and built a small outpost. Moved one Doed, Theri, and Mammoth over to the outpost for the construction that's about to take place. Walked two of my Rex's over for security purposes. Going to establish our main base on a huge platue right across from the redwoods. Hopefully, I'll get some time after work to build. B is supposed to start building the perimeter wall tomorrow, and T is going to start construction on our water base off Herbivore Island.

Logged on to "B was killed by a level 145 Gigantosaurus" message. Tried reaching him on the mic, but he was to busy to answer. Jumped on one of the Wyvern's and raced to the highlands, seeing the same death message twice more before I arrived. Arrived at the trap to see B running naked across the field with the Gold Giga right on his heels. One bite and he died again. He finally joined my party chat with a slew of expletives. I distracted the Giga while he reclaimed his stuff, and realized he left the tranqs and kibble at our main base by the blue ob. I raced back to grab them and B got kicked. Gathered up the narcs, tranqs, and kibble, and headed back to the highlands. Reach the Ashlands when B calls me, letting me know his internet was out. Crap. Called T, to see if he could assist and he couldn't. Crap. Retrieved B's gear, went back to our main base, and put all of B's gear back in his locker, put up all the supplies and logged.

Found a level 145 Therizino and tamed her up with Megalosaurus kibble. B helped me finish our Giga trap. Awesome looking gold 145 Giga in the highlands we plan on taming soon. Made some more Rex kibble and plan to go hunting for a high level Plesiosaur as soon as T or B can log on and assist. Work's still too busy for me to play often, fed everyone and logged for the night.

Haven't had much time to play lately, work has picked up and I haven't had the energy to play once I get home. Brothers and I have been considering getting another server so we can go back and forth between Ragnarok and the Island. Ragnarok is great but the Island is all of our favorites and nostalgic because it's where we cut our teeth on official. Prepped some Megalosaurus kibble for Therzi taming, fed everyone and logged. B is working on a FOB in the desert biome and T has been on vacation so not much action this week.

We tried to tame a Level 145 female Tuso near the artifact of the devourer... It did not end well. I've never seen so many squid in the same place. Bad part was, they didn't appear until we were halfway through taming the 145...

I went out with some fresh Argy kibble and tamed two Spinos. A 145 male and female respectively. While I was doing that, my brother attempted (hilariously) to tame a green and purple Gigantopithicus. Finally, after many mishaps he tamed her, and brought her back to the base to meet our new Spinos. Went on an egg hunt, came back with a 190 fire Wyvern egg, bred our new Spinos and my two best Rex's, and called it a day. Saw an awesome looking max level Argy with a red head, blue body and yellow wingtips. Will be looking for him tomorrow after work.

This should be glorious. Not in a great way, but in a the sky is falling, why doesn't this work, people breaking their phones way.

I'm a glutton for punishment and took one more round around the redwoods. Finally ran into this guy not very far from my trap! He was a 140 when I found him, tamed out to 209 with kibble. I'll call tonight a success.

Been hoarding titanoboa eggs forever. Finally made a crap ton of kibble and went Thyla hunting. I searched for six damn hours and found two... One level 25 one level 85.... Finally gave up and called it a night. Hopefully there are some high level ones next time.

Tamed a 140 mammoth. Got her home and crash to the dashboard... Finished feeding and took my Griffin over to a drop. Nothing good in it and crash to the dashboard... Fly to a new area I'm thinking about building a base at, get halfway there and crash to the dashboard... Log back in, get my Griffin to land, continue flight to possible new base location. Explore location, head back home to build some stuff and crash to the dashboard... Rage quit after I logged back in to get my body inside my base.

Life got in the way today. Hatched two 175 Ice Wyverns and 1 lightning Wyvern. Girlfriend broke down a few miles from home about 45 minutes before I needed to feed. Rushed out to help, got her car patched up, followed her home to make sure her car was okay. I ran inside logged on and.... All three starved to death probably ten minutes before I got there.... My timer was off a bit too, regardless, a moment of silence for those three Wyverns please.

Tamed a level 140 Christmas Sarco, level 140 Christmas Rex, and a level 135 Christmas Ankylosaurus. Been hunting for a Christmas Wyvern, Thyla or Spino. Haven't found any good levels for them though.

Haven't been able to play much lately, logged on last night to refill troughs and collect eggs. Finally my Titanboas are laying eggs! Took a quick flight around the area on my Griffin and spotted a 145 Sarco in the swamp by the castle. I had just made Trike kibble a few days before and decided to kite him down the cliffs to my trap. Had to kill six Terror Birds and one Rex, but did so with little issue. Got the Sarco in the trap, tranqued him and tamed him up. In the middle of the taming a stupid itchyornis attacked and hit the Sarco, lowering his taming effectiveness.... Massacred that bird with extreme prejudice and left his body to rot as a warning to any other ones in the area. Sarco tamed out to a 204 (stupid seagull) and I added him to my water base with my Megalodons. Once I can get a decent day to play, my brothers and I are going to see if we can finally tame a high level squid.

Finally found three low level Titanboas to tame (all in the same friggin area) tamed them all and dropped them in with the oviraptor. Not a single damn egg yet. Went scouting for high level squid with one of my brothers, found a 150 and I texted my other brother to log on and help. He showed up shortly after and we loaded up our supplies and went after it. That's when everything went to hell. We took Bowser our high health turtle to the deep, and the server crashed. Took us twenty minutes to get back in, Bowser was fighting a level 75 Mosa and managed with our help to kill it. We decided to continue on cause surely our server was okay now.. Healed up Bowser and headed to the last known location of the 150 squid. Found him, and allowed him to grab Bowser. As I swam up to give him black pearls the server crashed again.... By the time we got back in we had all drowned, Bowser was killed and we lost a lot of good gear. I contacted nitrado support about this and they gave me an extra week of server time as payment for the crashes. Crappy day of Ark but I already prepared some Pteradon kibble to tame a new male turtle for breeding to start this process over again.
