Very excited to see ARK continue to expand and prosper! A warm welcome to all PS4 players. Hopefully sometime late 2017 we will see ARK on the Nintendo Switch as well. Then I could properly enjoy it with my family.

If Wildcard made any mistakes with The Center it was adopting it as an Official to begin with.

Have you considered the possibility that The Center is incompatible? Let's be frank, The Center is and always has been fundamentally different from The Island in many ways, different creator, different vision, different goals, different coding, different textures. Wildcard is constantly working overtime on what they've already got on their plate, they can't be expected to spice some other dude's food even if it is on the menu now.

Any chance the completed Explorer Note system will include "Rosetta Stones" for those of us who want to translate them on our own?

I am 100% on board with a total Araneo overhaul. The saddle concept feels rather slapped on, which it was, if we're honest. On another note I am also 100% on board with overhauling Argentavis to be a giant Vulture and introducing a new Prehistoric Raptor to take it's place... But that's probably less likely...

IF any other company attempts what WildCard has they had better have an amazing base game and damn good DLC, or else it will not succeed like Scorched Earth has. The market will work out it's own kinks, it doesn't need to be supervised.

This expansion has apparently been in development from the beginning. It was already planned. And had they met their original release date, it would have been released right around the time frame when they said they wanted to release their first DLC, (three months after launch...).The way I see it, Ark's original release has been delayed only because the studio found that it wanted to do more than it originally planned and ultimately deliver a better product. You could maybe argue that's not the best way to run the development process, but I am continually awed by what this team can and is putting together. I will happily buy the DLC, enjoy it to no end, and continue to support this amazing team. I look forward to full launch with even greater anticipation. Also, with regards to the concerns over adding fantasy creatures to ARK, I welcome the blend, and for those that want the DLC maps to remain separate, I'm sure that sooner or later there will be Vanilla Servers for various DLC that don't allow creatures from other ARKS.

What if the Desert Biome is /under/ the map. After all, they can't really expand it north, south, east, or west, up is kinda corny, why not down? Perhaps you might get there through the existing caves? Or through the upcoming Tek Cave, maybe it's an underground Biosphere or Insect Terrarium? An experiment zone for ARK's Creators... which is why there are so many highly evolved insects concentrated there? Or perhaps it is a sort of Underworld ala The Center of the Earth Novel/The Center Map? Ahh, possibilities... <3

Worth noting that Troodon is the only other creature with four marks next to it's intelligence rating.

I have a suspicion that most if not all mystery creatures will be found in a special zone you can only reach after defeating the first three bosses...

MY LIFE IS COMPLETE. SOMEWHERE DEEP DOWN I HOPED THEY'D ADD GIANT MANTISES FROM DAY ONE. (if these can be ridden I will be absolutely giddy...)
