  1. I agree with the legs looking nude. Wolves need to have that bushy fur all over, not just their main body. Loving the bright yellow eyes. Adds to the intimidation. However, the constant snarl look isn't necessary, specifically the wrinkled nose part. Let that part relax, but keep the mouth/teeth how they are. Lastly, maybe it's just me, but I feel like there's just a liiiiittle too much forehead room. Maybe raise the eyes up juuuust a little, but it's not a huge deal. Overall, SPLENDID job on the Direwolve. It's been one of my favorite creatures in ARK and I'm glad to see it finally get the much needed TLC treatment it deserves. PS - Don't mess with the current running animation too much. It's easily one of the selling points for me for direwolves due to how beautiful and graceful it looks when in that wolfy gallop.
  2. I figured something like this would happen, and I'm both glad and saddened that it turned out to be the case. I'm glad because it'll keep all the duped bs and such that has infested all the servers (PvP and PvE) from infecting the new servers, but sad because in order to stay connected with the growing future community (new players are not likely to be joining a legacy server), I will have to start over on a new server. I have every intention of keeping my dinos alive and my base up until the server is marked for wiping and re-purposing, as I wish to keep them immortalized in Single Player where I can look back at all the good times for nostalgic trips down memory lane. I've grown attached to a fair number of them and am proud of my base. However, that won't likely be for a while, as my server is fairly active. @Jat If I can make one request.... Would you be willing to upload the saves of the PvE legacy servers periodically regardless of wiping/re-purposing? I REEEEEALLY want to preserve my dinos and my base from my server in singleplayer mode, but if my server remains active enough, it'll be a lot of upkeep to do in addition to the upkeep that will be required on the new servers I'll be starting over on. Though I said I had every intention of maintaining them, I would still like to NOT have to be juggling between two worlds, when the act of preserving one is just simply to have something to look back at.
  3. Best you can do is get it trapped and just wait for it to lose interest in breaking it teeth on your structures.
  4. I had the same problem when going after a 150 one. You just have to wait for a while, and I mean a WHILE. It's not going to de-aggro anytime soon, but it will eventually. Until then, you yourself NEED to stay away from it, or it WILL stay aggro'd. Don't pick it up, don't try to pet it, nothing. Wait for it to go back to just casually roaming before you try again. Get some popcorn or something, because it'll take quite a long time.
  5. Okay, so I just tamed one, and I can confirm that EleLL's method above WORKS. Was able to stay directly behind it and had no issues. Having high movement speed is a BIIIIIIG help for taming one of these when it decides to make a fairly sharp turn so you can stay behind it. This was done with the same Hyaenodon that was giving me grief before I followed these rules, so flying out of render is by no means needed to start again.
