  1. Not really. The Allos walk around with each other until one of them spots a target. It'll probably be like that. That doesn't happen with the other carnivores in "packs" but it'll be too little of a difference for it to be a unique ability. The Dino *looks* awesome, I agree. Just a bit underwhelmed by its abilities.
  2. So the fear inducing roar won't be coming to the Rex in the TLC pass, I take it? "There are few wild predators that are able to pack-hunt alongside the generally hostile Carnotaurus, like the Yutyrannus does." Oh, you mean like the Terror Bird, Scorpion, Saber, Direwolf, Megalosaurus, Allosaurus, Raptor and Rex being able to "hunt" with the Carno Will we finally see carnivores not hunting together and sharing prey all the time? D:
  3. I wouldn't expect mods taking directly from other IPs to be supported, ever, by this mod sponsor program. Same with the Pokemon Mod.

  5. Don't worry, buddy! The Broodmother can be beaten by 2 players We have a tribe of 5 people but only a couple are interested in doing boss battles with minimum people. The Broodmother can be dealt with 2 players. It's a bit tough with the amount of HP she has(usually 1 million) so maybe you want to aim for the Megapethicus instead? He always(may change next patch) spawns with 200k hp and you'll only need 2 players, a Gallimimus with good weight, a couple of rocket launchers and rockets to deal with him. Simply run from one end of the arena to the other and have your passenger fire rockets at the boss as he walks towards you. Avoiding the rocks thrown at all cost and dodging the minions he spawn.

  7. Sounds great. Both the Megapethicus and Broodmother are definitely doable. Tons of Rexes deal with the Spider. A Gallimimus and a rocket launcher is super fun against the Ape but that Dragon *shakes head while crying* The arena is amazing but those Dimorphodons and Pteras are just too tough to take down when they're flying around like crazy. Can't wait for you to finish up the game so you'll be able to focus on certain aspects of the game
  8. Really hoping we can bring the Tek stuff against the Dragon because it's literally impossible at the moment. Has anyone ever beaten it without cheating or having modified settings? Did my eyes deceive me or did I see 100 damage per shot from the Tek rifle? That's worse than a good Assault Rifle O_O
  9. Oh, you mean like how jousting is done in real life? The controlling of the animals while holding a weapon actually isn't that tough. You just have to get used to it.

Survivor, Avios asks, “Will carnivores ever get a "hunger" sort of system to them, instead of them being a bottomless pit and eating everything in sight?” I thought you were creating an immersive world with a living and breathing ecosystem. Carnivores always being in "consume everything" mode isn't very immersive A Rex passing by a herd of Brontos, deciding it isn't hungry enough to engage or the Brontos all making warning cries to ward him off and it therefore ending in no one fighting in the end would've been so amazing and it was something I was looking forward to. At the very least, carnivores not attacking everything due to their hunger not being low Oh well, much else to look forward. Here's to hoping you aren't skipping herds and their behaviors entirely, like going for water together(no hunger = no thirst either? FeelsBadMan) or moving to better, more fresh fields for grassing. I guess those are also out of the picture
  13. We have transferred from private server to private server. SE to Island and the other way as well, so I'm guessing we're set up correctly. But I'm not sure
  14. Does this allow Official to Unofficial transfers? We would love to get the remaining animals from official to our private server They don't seem to show up on the download list though
  15. Had hoped the Turkey Trial wouldn't involve the same mutant turkeys They're insane, but they should be killable with Wyverns this year. That health regen is no joke. Was there for most of the stream and it was great fun! Really glad you reached your goal and got to reveal everything Shout out to the crazy Karl Flower and of course everyone else donating!

  17. Thanks a lot We tried the replace code before but we had Dodos in there instead of nothing and it spawned a million Dodos all over the place.
  18. So not having anything set to replace it with just removes it completely?
  19. Any easy way to remove Gigas overall, anywhere, from all spawner, without having to write a line of code for every single spawner, center AND island? If only "spawn percentage" actually meant something in my Survivalservers.com checkbox control panel. 0 spawn percentage still adds just as many Gigas as before.

  21. I really don't get what "The Last Man Standing" mod does different. Same rules, just teams of 5, 1½ hour matches, more gear(ghillie, sniper rifles)? What sets it apart? There's not a single piece of information on the mod page either
  22. It's okay to be disappointed. These mysterious mystery dossiers are nice and all, but we are definitely at the "you were allowed to help us shape the game, but now it's time to get super secret!" phase again. It's tough to back to that since we were treated with weekly patches with 1-2 creatures in the beginning. Currently the next patch with nothing special in it is taking a month to release. 2 creatures and items already present in the game(Obelisks worked just fine) or in mods(hangar doors). They are of course crunching away at all their little secrets behind the curtain and I hope they're on schedule. Hopefully we'll get something a little more exciting at PAX Prime and not just a couple of dossiers, another image tease or a mod going official. We really don't need more of that when they already got their hands full. Having to support more is just a death sentence for the release date

  24. A dream far off. The Primitive+ mod is becoming an official DLC later during the summer. Integrating it into the main game would ruin a lot of the "official Mods" program plans they've got.
