I like the idea of fooling the ants by sneaking in the nest wearing chitins. But the fact that the ants can climb, that's a big step up in aberration. That capacity alone is a incredibly huge advantage and I believe this tame should be a major achievement in part with a rock drake . I propose that the ant nest spawn on the surface. That survivors need to avoid hazards, sneaks in the nest wearing chitin/bug repellant and once they reach the queen they need to pacified her by showering her majesty with gift. I'm talking tributes and artifacts. Upon pacification the queen will drop an egg of the same stats as her own and vanish. The egg hatch into a larva. The larva will mature into 4 cast depending on feeding: Honey: male. Small size, flying but too small to be ridden. Glows and will light up a small area (small dinoleash size). Can only mate once, then perish. Mushroom: worker. Medium size, 1 rider, climbs, fast speed, zipline friendly, can gather a plethora of resources with decent weight reduction including element ore. Inventory special ability "Seek and Retrieve" : equip a type of resource to not only allow resource detection but to allow other worker ants to gather the same material in a radius. Meat: soldier. Large size, 2 riders (who are both fully protected from attack and dismounting), climbs, moderate speed ,not zipline friendly, can pick up "sleeping creature." Inventory special ability "Seek and destroy": equip type tribute to not only allow detection of said creature but to increase the damage/resistance vs said chosen creature and harvest twice the more tribute. Diva Treatment: Honey + tributes+ artefacts +shag rug+ aircons+ 100%imprints: You are raising a queen, get ready to pamper. If any of the special care are missing the larva will result in a male. Meaning the larva will need to grow in a warm( air con) and cozy( carpeted floor please), well feed , well cared and showered with gifts. Queen are quite large, tame limit (she counts for more than one creature). Doesn't like other queen. Doesn't like to be ridden. Consume vast quantity of food. She only mate once for a lifetime of eggs. Eggs stats are a mix result of hers and the male breeder. She glows...a lot. Inventory special ability: none All ants benefits from a pack buff that also affect their gathering bonus. All ants are naturally fearless. All ants are immune to radiation. All ants can "burrow" and lack a oxygen stats. Will be protected from the scorching surface while burrowing. (Riders need their own device.) They are poor swimmers and cannot dive. Boss dino worthy?
