  1. And that is the attitude you should take, good work is good work and if you can only pick 3 out of 40 it gets hard to choose. If I didn't win a contest I felt I should've won, I would take it in stride because I look like a bigger loser crying about it. I look forward to what you come up with and how it turns out overall, just be positive and move forward to get what you want, take your losses and use them as fuel for the next attempt. Edit: The Maiasaura is a good choice too, I am quite fond of it.
  2. You said that people are getting mad about not being noticed for the work that they do, that is what validation is. Any contest that is based on an "art" type of criteria, as previously noted by another poster, is ultimately based on subjectivity and will be judge subjectively. If you want to be noticed for the work you put in then try again and hope for the best. It comes down to two choices, you can talk about it or you can be about it, and talking about it isn't getting you anywhere.
  3. How did it break the game? Anyone can say "this thing broke the game", but if you can't say "this thing broke the game and here is why" what good does it to even make the statement?
  4. Here is a good tip for you stop living your life as though you are always owed validation for everything you do, it is earned. The reality of life is that not everyone is a winner and if you choose to continue on thinking that everyone is a winner, you might not want to step out into the real world where people are hired and fired based on performance. The thought that you should get a pat on the back for everything done is a sign you have a lot more issues than you are probably aware of. Not trying to be rude, but children want people to tell them "Good Job! You get a star!", and I would like to think that people are capable of handling failures and criticisms. It is a measure of one's level of maturity.
  5. Everything you are saying comes across as pure arrogance on your part and is an attempt to belittle the work of the others who are trying to have a bit of fun with the game. Having pride in your work is one thing, hubris is another, and this is just a really poor attitude and quite frankly sheds a bit of light on to what kind of person you actually are. Personally I like the other work submitted more than yours and I am sure that if they didn't win they wouldn't be out here grandstanding over it. If you are going to be petty enough to take your ball and go home crying, then just do it, with your attitude I don't see how anyone would even begin to care if you don't enter anymore.
