Re: the point in bold. PS4 has also had to endure the exact same thing, and even more so.

Xbox got the Rex Skin, only fair PS4 gets a similar skin. Yes they get the Manticore outfits too, which i'm jealous about, but the PS4 community has missed out on so much for so long, it's totally deserved.

There is still a lot more to come from ARK, this isn't the end.

    Excuse me?

PS4 didn't have to endure anything. All they did was whine and ask when it's going to be on PS4. Did you see anyone complaining when it'll be on xbox or PC?

A rex skin for gaining all the dossiers ( a pretty difficult challenge) is nothing compared to getting the giga skin so easily. In Pc you have to win hundreds of SOTF matches, we don't even have it on Xbox!

There is nothing deserving about selling out to PS4 players like this.

Glad to see we both agree with the manticore armour. They're getting rewards from killing bosses simply by buying the game.

Surprised and pleased to see this thread still being updated. :)

I have to say I am really surprised to see how high up in the tiers diplo is right now. They might be a benefit to large tribes, but to small tribes and solo players they may not be worth the headache of taming and securing them if you can't fully utility said benefits. Can I ask if this tier list is assembled with a specific tribe size in mind? I know you said you didn't want to separate the rankings based on tribe and solo, but for some animals I do feel like that's unavoidable and the diplo is one of them. Maybe not a separate ranking, but a note about it being more effective in a larger tribe.

It's probably made with the amount of people you should play with in mind.

Or, just get like, 1,000 workers to go around manually pollinating things all day.

1,000 human workers? I don't think you realise that only certain species can pollinate. We need millions of members of an animal in order to pollinate (that's why insects, bees and butterflies etc pollinate). We need them to do it 24/7/365/For the rest of their lives.

    That's actually a Myth.

By losing bees, we'd lose all of what, honey and plants that require pollination?

The Meat industry would be fine, there's plenty of crops that'd be fine, all in all, I'd say it's worth it to get rid of those goddamn flying stingers.

You do realise almost every plant requires pollination? 30% of our crops and 90% of the world's flora. We'd lose so much oxygen you'd need to go around wearing an oxygen mask and air tanks. People in China would literally die out because of the already terrible air quality and now with most plants dying out.

Also like another person said. Losing lots of plants means lots of herbivorous animals die out which means most carnivorous animals die out.

It's quite shocking how our entire earth is held together by these 'flying stingers' (which they rarely do)

The pelagornis is about 3/4 the size of the dilo, and I still don't get how its rideable.

Mainly the giant wings played a part in that.

The queen doesn't appear to have a saddle with a checkmark (let alone a saddle icon at all) which could mean the devs are probably deciding whether or not it should be rideable.

Alright, I have three suspect tests for everyone. Let me know your thoughts on these~

Pelagornis: S tier > A tier: While the Pelagornis is amazing at collecting Organic Polymer, that seems to be it's only use at the moment. It can't pick things up, it doesn't do much damage, it's somewhat slow, has a small amount of carry weight, and it's swimming is more of rafting. It seems to pale in comparison to other S tier rankers.

Gallimimus: B tier > C tier: While speedy and agile, it has a bad turn radius, low health, and low carry weight. It doesn't seem like it'll work well with other creatures in this tier.

Ankylosaurus: D tier > C tier: Very tanky, and if you boost just melee and health, you've got a strong mount that can tank hits and deal a good amount of damage. It seems to outrank the others in D tier.

I'd agree with that. Maybe even downgrade the pelagornis to B tier? As far as i'm aware speed is its only good stat and even then it's like the raptor. You won't gain its full speed because of its low carry weight and there are better options.

I think I was actually thinking about the mate boost they commonly have in the wild, but yeah they don't.

Fixed it. Until they get some sort of boost, Sabers will be better due to the saddle bonus.

I actually saw a couple of videos about that. Direwolves beat sabers, with or without saddles.

It's the third video in that small playlist.
