  1. It has and still does run much better than the steam version for me, apart from the broken extremely-aggressive censor
  2. I should mention that that censor doesn't exist on the Xbox client proper, so it's unlikely it's deliberate.
  3. after ages of searching and 300 rock elementals, I finally found metal on scorched earth. It was right next to the green obelisk which I never bothered to check before going mountain climbing
  4. Are you on default rates? Sounds like a bug, but I haven't tried taming one yet
  5. PVP sandbox games are always unplayable on public servers.
  6. Hot take I know, but I agree the game should be made to run well on any platform it's released for.
  7. Resources as well are 95% the same but not an exact copy. Like on scorched earth some of the easier to reach metal nodes are gone now.
  8. Atlas is from the same publisher, and it's the publisher making the poor financial decisions that got us here to begin with. I was really excited for Bellwright until I noticed it's also published by Snail, so it's going to be put into maintenance mode the instant it launches, just like Atlas.
  9. No, the transfer speed on those is way too low.
  10. I'm trying to gather more data before a bug report because I have no idea what's going on. So last night I was riding my gigantopithicus through scorched earth, and decided to fist fight a raptor pack. Now my monkey has fought a lot of raptors and usually they pose no threat. Except this time they knocked him out in one hit and I had to finish the fight with my sword. At first I thought it was a feature I didn't know about with the pounce attack or something. Except within like a half hour of that happening, my tribemate's wyvern got knocked out in one hit by a sabertooth. Now as far as I'm aware, the sabertooth only has one type of attack and nothing that can stun or apply torpor. Anyone else run into something like this? I'm trying to find some kind of pattern.
  11. there's at least one official bug report I was able to find about it from like december
  12. the game pass client censors everything that starts with "ha" or "co" even when searching in your inventory
  13. Followup on using seagulls: it's not clear if they actually aggro on the microraptors or not, because they take so long to hunt every compy in a mile radius that they can't keep up. Either way they're not good for screening. No big deal, just a pet project.
  14. This may be too late, but this will have a big impact on the Center coming back. The rivers so far in ASA are too shallow in most places. There are many shallow stretches where not only can rafts not pass, but neither can water dinos, and amphibious tames have to walk through the shallows. Moving forward, rivers should be made more accessible so they can be better used for transport.
  15. Female megaloceros just needs some utility in general. The iguanodon's inability to defend itself despite the dossier indicating otherwise also needs to be looked at separately. Gallimimus can outrun anything on the Island already, which isn't what I'm asking for the Equus to do.
  16. I gave up on official servers in 2016. Haven't seen a cheater because I play on a private server.
  17. Now that movement speed is locked in vanilla, please make the tamed Equus sprint slightly faster. As of right now, they aren't able to outrun wild raptors, which hampers their usefulness.
  18. I don't think so, I have yet to find a BP that can't be tiered
  19. Giant bees also weren't tameable for quite a while Or was it that they weren't even in for a while? Forgot how you used to get honey or what substituted it
  20. Official rates are ridiculous. I can't imagine trying to tame something with high torpor drain without at least a tame speed boost.
  21. I think there's a setting you can edit to already do that.
  22. My suspicion is that allowing them to be ridden would allow players to glitch through the ground mesh while they're buried, but devs should still try to improve that. I like the look of purlovias and that would be a good way to get more out of them.
  23. Yeah they need an overhaul. Their size really doesn't help because it really helps you see the lack of detail.
  24. Are you using lights? Troodons flee from any and all light sources.
  25. Rebuilding the maps takes time and at some point it just becomes asset flipping, so it's a slow tedious process independent of Ark 2 development.
