Lol, not from Wisconsin but I'd be your southern neighbor and yes I hunt too. Well last night went pretty good overall. I ended up finding and taming the 145 Quetz from the night before and gathered up enough crystal to finish my greenhouse. I was going to take a look around for Otters after that but I decided to go back to murder snow to get oil from my pump and see if there was a nest around the area where I killed that Ice Wyvern. The hunt ended up great, at about 34-68 I found a nest by a big fallen tree and low and behold.....I now have a 185 Ice Wyvern egg to hatch this weekend which I'm pretty stoked about that one! I was going to do a dino wipe after that to see if I could get some Otter spawns too but I seen a 145 Griffin when I was out looking for the Quetz so I think I'm going to try and track it down and tame before I do the wipe.

No kidding! It didn't take that long to drop that little 15 last night off the back of the Griffin, I really like that mechanic being a solo player! Sounds like we're almost at the same stage on the new map lol! Last weekend I built my Wyvern trap for my 175 poison egg I found...didn't want a poison one but I couldn't pass up the high level. I trapped three in there that were chasing me so that was a heck of a deal trying to clean up that mess and gather milk. Also, I had a run in with a Ice Wyvern on murder snow where there's two oil fields (I believe the coordinates were around 31-68). I haven't checked online to see if there's a nest around there but it was a hell of an accidental find and fight!

Congrats on the Quetz! I was having a hard time finding them too but I actually tamed a level 15 last night lol....yeah pretty sad but at least I can use it for my trap on the bigger ones. On my search for Otters with my Griffin (which I've yet to find)....I seen a 145 flying around but I was too tired to go back for the long tame so I'll probably try it tonight after work....and try to find an Otter again lol.

Congrats WC! It's been a long and bumpy ride but definitely well worth it. Thank you for all the hard work and time that you've put into the game. I can't wait to see what else you guys have in store for us down the road.

I'm with totally with you on that one! I'm sitting back and waiting for all these patches to slow down a bit before I get on again. I haven't even got on yet to see if my dinos or base is still there after I heard a lot were gone/wiped after the last update (I'm a bit concerned about that one still). I may jump on for a bit to check out Ragnarok though....well when or if we get it lol!

I guarantee you won't be disappointed! The only issue I ran into was the over spawning issue after about my fourth run. One pack of wolves knocked me back in the water with around 20 or so high leveled piranha. Took me down to a 1/4 health before I finally got out....I was really worried about that one lol. Good luck to you though!

I had a pretty productive day yesterday. I've always had trouble with the snow cave on the island (solo player), so I thought I'd fix that since the loot drops are pretty good in there. I spent most of the morning gathering up all the materials and making the structures at my main base that would be needed to build a small base inside the cave. I then jumped on my weight Argy and headed out. It took me awhile to get everything properly setup and moved from my earlier cabin outside the cave to my new small base but it was well worth my time. Now for the next step....choosing which dino I wanted for my new base. I went back to my main base and was looking over all the possible candidates. I ended up choosing my Thylacoleo's to breed so I could take the baby in the cave to raise. I tell you I was really nervous about flying the pregnant female on the back of my Quetzal since he's a lot slower now lol. I finally did make it without her popping the baby out before I got there. I tell you what, the Thyla works amazing in that cave (climbing, jumping, and wrecking everything) and I have no problems at all now. On my first trip I ended up getting a MC fur chest piece from the first red drop (I had a journeyman before). We all know life in Ark.....you just never know how things are going to turn out but thank goodness it ended up a good day!

Well....last night didn't go so well as my last post. I was out trying to find a nice leveled Basil with my small water army, 2 Mosa's and 2 Plesi's. I got hit from out of nowhere by a school of eels and a mid-leveled squid. They killed me twice trying to get everything out of harms way. On the third attempt my army finally killed everything but then I seen the goofy squid glitched my highest level Plesi in a huge rock. Now I have my mid-leveled Mosa sitting there and the Plesi on aggressive and follow to hopefully render it out....if not then R.I.P. Nessie! On a good note I did get my gear back though lol!

Sorry about the loss, glad you didn't get in that much trouble, lol! I haven't found a Wyvern that high yet, still looking though. Thanks, yeah I got lucky I haven't seen anything over 100 in a long time. I forgot to add that I ended up finding a 150 Sabre and got it perfect tamed too last night for caving, hell of a night for me! I hope you end up finding that 1 in front of the 45-50 next time!

I hope you're not on the weeks worth of couch time with her for that one, lol!

I actually had a pretty good day. I've been wanting to start breeding Giga's and on my way to my metal farm I accidentally ran into a 140 beast! So, not much metal farming I ended up getting gear ready for an epic tame and built my Giga trap. I almost got my utility Argy killed trying to kite the darn thing to my trap but it ended well for a change lol. After a grueling kibble taming session I ended up with a perfect tamed Giga.
