Do a hard reset once the scorched update is finished. With the xbox on press and hold the power button until it turns off... will take about a minute to reboot, but when you start ark again it should prompt you for the second update.

Why the delay in the download, we could be downloading it while you are updating so we are ready to go zero hour.

But I changed the way I played expecting the to keep their promises. This was not an omission or missed deadline, this was an intentional choice to do something they promised they would not do. Can you please tell me where in the terms of service it says I agree to just go along if the developers flat out lie? I could not find that section.

The reason I am so passionate is because I love the game. The game is great, the game makers make lots of horrible decisions, though.

How many times have you called the cops on your neighbor? It is not about ever having to use it, it is about the deterrent factor and about legacy servers getting the shaft. Why would they not need supported if they were going to be a viable option for people in the future. If I read between the lines correctly what I really read was, "stay on legacy until the new people can get established, then be wiped and forced to the other cluster.

No support for legacy servers? Why not?

Do we have confirmation on how long this event will last? Someone said 7 weeks in this thread, but that seems really high to me. I play on xbox. Thx!

Definitely glad for the higher rates... I can't help but wonder if some of the gathering has been nerfed, a little, though. Maybe I have just gotten used to the new rates, but it seems to me some of the things I gather are less than what I used to get on 2x weekends.

I have to say I am one who did not vote for Ark simply because of they way they announced the sheep... "If we win you get sheep." I know they later changed it, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. An idea for the developers... assign someone the duty of making a 30 to 60 minute video about each new dino released with the person who designed it so we know what we are getting and for any major updates... It would make it more of a personal experience for the gamers and may go a long way to solving the "no communication from Wildcard" issue that so many of us complain about. It would also give the designer of any particular dino a chance to brag a little. Other video games that are not nearly as good do this and my son likes them better because he feels more of a personal connection with the developers. I am sure he cannot be the only person who is like that.
