  1. I highly recommend this: https://github.com/FezVrasta/ark-server-tools While it does not have auto-update as far as I know, it can check for updates and update if necessary. And then add something like this to your crontab, this will check for updates every 2 hours and then update if there is an update. Might even be something in the tools to create schedules in cron, he added lots of nifty stuff over the years. # AUTO CHECK FOR UPDATE 01 */2 * * * /home/usr/bin/arkmanager update --warn --saveworld --update-mods @server1
  2. If you've already reinstalled Ark on both server and your PC... There's not much else to suggest. Are you running any mods and disabled them? These links crash on the same dryglass atlas billboard as you do. Perhaps their solution works for you? https://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/2119355556475490499/ https://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/1699416432424836420/ Also, are you able to join official Ragnarok servers and unofficial Ragnarok servers? If you Google the file Ark crashes on you'll find several with the same problem, though I'm not sure if there's any answer... https://www.google.com/search?q=DryGrass_Atlas_Billboards_BC.uasset We recently changed to Ragnarok and I literally had to reinstall Ark twice on the server for it to work. Though we got kicked to the "buy Ragnarok on steam" when attempting to join, so most likely different issue...
  3. That is not possible with ini-config. You can change many other aspects of cuddle-imprint, but not the actual requirements.
  4. You could use this calculator, it's in German, but Google Translate can fix that for ya: https://arkforum.de/ark-wiki/index.php?entry/391-ark-tageslänge-rechner/ Would be something like: DayTimeSpeedScale=0.690073 NightTimeSpeedScale=0.309927 However I found that this calculator is not 100% accurate, but more or less though...
  5. I've tried every single combination of known config, and increasing alpha spawn rates is impossibru. Someone once explained to me how alphas didn't have their own spawns, it was tied to the class of their non-alpha spawn. Or something like that. I remember it vaguely. While a bit manual and somewhat tedious if you intend to have many spawns spread across the map, this mod is perfect for increasing spawns: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1295978823 But yeah, a better overhaul mod where you could easily place spawns within the "spawn areas" already on the map, would make a nice mod!
  6. Case sensitive... not sure why I didn't think about that before... using all caps on CLUSTER made the modify command work.
  7. Anyone have a working tutorial on how to add/modify cluster items? Using the example from Modification File I only get errors. Was hoping I'd get a working example and then test from there... but to no avail... on Ubuntu if that matters... Using modify command: Expected remapDinoClassNames to be OBJECT but found MISSING Expected remapItemArchetypes to be OBJECT but found MISSING Expected removeItems to be ARRAY but found MISSING Expected addToDefaultInventory to be OBJECT but found MISSING Expected addToInventory to be OBJECT but found MISSING java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No enum constant qowyn.ark.tools.FileFormat.cluster at java.lang.Enum.valueOf(Enum.java:238) at qowyn.ark.tools.FileFormat.valueOf(FileFormat.java:1) at qowyn.ark.tools.EditingCommands.modify(EditingCommands.java:542) at qowyn.ark.tools.App.main(App.java:125) Using import command: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No enum constant qowyn.ark.tools.FileFormat.cluster at java.lang.Enum.valueOf(Enum.java:238) at qowyn.ark.tools.FileFormat.valueOf(FileFormat.java:1) at qowyn.ark.tools.EditingCommands.importThing(EditingCommands.java:240) at qowyn.ark.tools.App.main(App.java:125)
  8. I've been trying to figure out the Modification File, but I assume the error messages I'm getting is due to "Unknown Cloud Inventory Version 4". I thought I'd fiddle around with c2j and that is where the version error is popping up. Anywho, if it was simply changing the number from 7 to 8 for the save-files to work, would it be just as easy for cloud/cluster files? No idea how I compile stuff, perhaps someone else has run into the same problem and compiled a working version? For reference (paths redacted due to cluster-ID): ./ark-tools.sh modify INPUT test1.json OUTPUT --file-format cluster rjava.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No enum constant qowyn.ark.tools.FileFormat.cluster at java.lang.Enum.valueOf(Enum.java:238) at qowyn.ark.tools.FileFormat.valueOf(FileFormat.java:9) at qowyn.ark.tools.EditingCommands.modify(EditingCommands.java:545) at qowyn.ark.tools.App.main(App.java:117) ./ark-tools.sh c2j CLOUD test2.json java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Unknown Cloud Inventory Version 4 at qowyn.ark.ArkCloudInventory.readBinary(ArkCloudInventory.java:65) at qowyn.ark.ArkCloudInventory.<init>(ArkCloudInventory.java:53) at qowyn.ark.ArkCloudInventory.<init>(ArkCloudInventory.java:31) at qowyn.ark.tools.ConvertingCommands.cloudToJson(ConvertingCommands.java:188) at qowyn.ark.tools.App.main(App.java:117)
