Are you serious? Informal alliances have been a part of the game sense the start of this game. Before the alliance system was a thing and before server transfers where even a thing. Get used to the fact that people will join forces to fight common a enemy. Remember this historical quote? "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." I feel your the same type of person who wants offline raid protection and would love to just admin abuse the hell out of anyone for being better at the game then you. They have made you this option on unofficial servers where you can make and play however you like. This on the other hand is official and they made it a even playing field. Have you ever heard you can't have your cake and eat it too? Well you can't have equal opportunity and equal out come. You have to pick one or the other. So I would advise you to join a private/unofficial server and leave the devs alone for making a new server type to EXPAND the games play modes.

I think these servers will give them a real starting point for official. If mite begin to create a interest in the dieing pvp servers once again but, who knows. To be honest I have thought to make a noob character to go seal clubbing myself. I mean these guys are going to have to learn to have to defend against one at some point. ?

plants are a joke. A BS lvl 10-20 rex can munch them to nothing not to mention they can be drained very quickly.

You won't even be able to make auto turrets and tame cap at lvl 30. Why would they waste their time? Not to mention you can only reach lvl 44 max. Maybe a handful of sea clubbers but, other then that I don't think you will have any serious trolls as theirs no transfers to the server and as soon as you transfer out you can't go back. There mite be a few old veterans going there to maybe meet up with some people to star up ark again in a quiet server to build up a character to transfer but, even on a normal server if you hit the boxes on the weekend you can reach lvl 60 in a matter of a couple hrs.

I love how people are short sighted and self centered. I think the new servers are kind of nice. It will be great for starters to give the game a real chance to get a feel of what official feels like with out the threat of being blind sided day 1 hr 1 by a alpha when you just got the game. From my experience the game was start on solo or a with a few buddies on a unofficial dedi and run scared from dilos for a little while then after you figured out a little about the map learned about the mats and maybe spawned in some for high end junk for kicks and giggles. You moved on to a pve for about 20 minutes realize it's stupid then move to a pvp where you will find out humans are terrible but, if you dig deep you will find out there are some okay people and after a further look you can make some real friends. These people will be loyal and will have your back through thick and thin. You climb your way to the top of a server. Before you know it you will have alliances, fame and respect from your peers. Not to mention all the Epic battles , Sieges , Hard debates with rival tribes that can decide war or peace by just a razor edge margin. You will have backstabbers , espionage and some real deep emotions will be shown I mean for some real hard emotional stuff will happen where you need a stock of cleanex on hand at all times. So much of this game can only be found through this crazy struggle. These new players will have a big stepping stone as these starter servers will let them dip there toe in to get a feel for it. Instead of chucking there ass strait into the fire and saying deal with it.

Oh the good old days of Ark. I haven't though about this in while until someone liked it. That was a epic little set up however it did become altered. The pit was later on removed and holes where places. to make for the "kiddie pools" Where we floated a few gigas or rexs brontos as well as we added a larger tower to it and connected the structure to the main one above. We added a large elevator as well as janked the side of it with a behemoth gate at the bottom to allow giggas out and about after they have grown a little bit. but the elevator would allow you to get into the main compounds incubation section and to get to the pools was just a elevator ride down. Was a slick set up as it had a 2nd floor that you could get up to and that was a bar for a little while and then was changed into a sort of hang out corner for meetings as the previous patio was removed. The days of massive bases like these are sadly gone as with the turret limit added you could never defend it. The pyramid it self had 200+ plants as well as 120 or so autos on it. not to mention we had 12 towers armed with a additional 64 autos each and a extra FOB defenses around the outer perimeter with 48 turrets each with 20 of those. not to mention about 500 addition turrets on the houses and inner compound with a extra 60 or so for inner workings and all of these defenses had extra plant x to help with defense in upwards to about 1000 plants in total. We literally had to go through trumps twitter history to find enough #@!T to fill are 24 dung Beatles on a daily basis. WildCard however has chosen to abandon it's veteran crowd. This turret limit was imposed because of lack of development. It was a poor choice in my opinon as well as 1000's of others to do so. These bases took literal months and in this case we where there a entire year! All to be cast away by some lazy devs who said nah work costs money and we are some greedy Little cockroaches. WILDCARD FIX YOUR MISTAKE. @Jatheish @Jen This post was made when I was a die hard fan and I understood patches and delays in patches or content. I defended several devs when people did nothing but trash you over pittances. The fact of the matter is you broke this game. You truly broke this game out of nothing more then just flat out laziness and greed. Ever sense the fallout from people calling you out on your blatant lies on the original "migration" it has been a steady flow of just lies and FU to the fans. Please fix this mistake and let this game be playable once again.

Wrong they are a "subsidiary" Zenimax oversees Bethesda and has contracts with them. However they do not have ownership regardless of founders as, Bethesda is a offshoot or division of Zenimax. You should do a little more research buddy . You will also find out if you do some more research that Wild card is a "subsidiary" of snail games USA . Just like Bethesda is for Zenimax. I don't really see how your comment has anything to do with my original post however but, it seems you didn't even look into a few google searches so, I can't say I'm surprised you didn't read it.

This game won't affect ark's progression as it's made by a separate dev crew. As far as a grab for money that has yet to be decided. As the game has made a large amount from sales there upkeep for servers is outrageous. So overall I'm not surprised they are trying to make money off something they made to sell. They are a business like anyone else and at the end of the day they have bills to pay. However releasing it into EA is very shady as they have a huge jump start and with far less effort will be able to make a full release of the game. With the game being in EA I have a feeling it will be slow to progress and more then likely will only if ever take about 2 years to come out of EA.

This isn't new, ESO was made by Zenimax and not Bethesda because, Zenimax is a sister company so they have the ability and access to do so. This game is no different and by it being created by "snail games" it is made with a different dev crew and just like eso was made by a different dev crew. Zenimax used code from the devs at Bethesda too so this shouldn't be a shocker. In short this has been done before and it will be done again. If you don't like the game don't buy it pure and simple but, don't be surprised if wildcard supports snail games.

The steam servers complexity are very different and the red tape that Microsoft and Valve would have to go through would be unreal to do this just as a favor. This has nothing to do with Wild Card using the Xbox/windows 10 cross play and saying sorry steam players give me money. It's really to do with Microsoft and Valve thinking about business. Its one thing to say they didn't make the right choice for the fans but, this is a choice Wildcard could never make. If they honestly wanted to Xbox could cross play with PlayStation and PC. The code would not be impossible or even that difficult to make but, the thought of this deal happening between Sony and Microsoft and Valve would make both their CEO's heads explode. SO BEFORE YOU RANT ON SOMETHING IN PUBLIC! CHECK YOUR DAM FACTS FIRST!!!!!! Don't forget either with your MineCraft bit that Microsoft owns Mojang studios. So the deal was between just Valve and Microsoft. This in turn would lead for them to make a easier figure on profits and honestly its a game with a already large player base so not very many copies are still being purchased. With ark its just getting ready for full release and each company ( Microsoft, Sony, Valve ) will fighting fericly against each other to SELL SELL SELL! so they can rake in the royalties.

@Jen You of all should be the one to speak out on this. You have even responded to several personal matters in the forums. I recall one such post where a member of the forums was calling you impotent in running the forums and you stood your ground and where as proud and vocal as ever. She made several remarks referring to you as a beacon wasted as it is very hard for a women in a lead role at any development studio. This happen around this last thanksgiving and I'm sure you recall as this post when't on constantly calling you out for about 2 weeks. Please show the forums your vocal voice you had last year and this time stand up for the fans of this game. If you don't acknowledge us now why even bother then.

@Jat @Jen You guys have given feed back on several matters and this is something if anything needs to be addressed as what is going on right now is just simply wrong. Look through these messages as they are not the constant bickering of people saying updates take for ever or you guys never read my tickets. This is people pouring their heart out saying please don't ruin ark for me and please keep your word. As this game has people invested greatly and the only thing they are asking for is you to stay honest to what you said. Give a extension to these severs. So that people can enjoy the game they put so many days of work and input in making this game great.

I personally have had to use it twice But, have also had several tribes mates use it for recovering of accounts and a few of them with glitches used to steal their tribe away from them. The first one I reported was shortly after the game came out on xbox and it was due to a glitch that would kick you if you kicked a tribe member out of the tribe if they where riding a dino. The person that know of this glitch was also the 2nd person in the tribe. So he talked a bunch of BS to the leader and the leader kicked him after being provoked several times ( a understandable choice ) This however ended up with the leader being kicked and us losing the tribe to him and resulted in all of us being kicked from are tribe. ( they also ignored the request to have the leader reinstated but, could see that the glitch was used to kick the leader and thanked us for are assistance. I quit ark for a few months after that. ) the 2nd time i used a support ticket was when their was a server reset we had one of are tribe members pushed back into one of are alliances tribes. He was in his tribe to help him with a metal run real quick as are allie had no one else on at the time ) after that we recruited are member back into the tribe and just shortly after the rest hit. This made the member in question jump back into are alliances tribe. This was no big deal as we just re-invited him as we did before but, rather than him rejoining are tribe it accepted the invite to tribe as a merge ( I wasn't leader as well ) and all members who where online joined are alliances tribe and the one who where currently offline where left in my tribe. about 2/3 of the base and for some reason about half of the dinos where transferred over to are alliances tribe even though we had no dinos or structures that where personally owned. So yes I have used it a couple times for major reasons that I'm sure would make 10000000% of people very furious and would make them appreciate the support. ( they also said it would take 10-12 for us to have a interview with a admin for this matter even after waiting 4 days for a response but, thankfully we had a very trust worthy alliance they merged their tribe back to are leader and we demolished there base and gave them their dinos back and the combined forces of both are tribes spent 4 days rebuilding are alliances base. we also checked back to see if we would ever get a response and that question took 5 day to get a reply only to say that are interview can longer be found on the schedule as they wipe out all tickets every 2 weeks. So even after a confirmed interview it was set at a date that would be wiped off the admins schedule as if we never said single thing so ya that could get frustrating. We however had a far better outcome then we could have but, only because we had amazing allies ) Also the 2nd incident I mentioned only happen one month ago and not when there was even more horrific glitches. I have also lost 2 characters due to glitches during transferring and I didn't even bother making tickets for them. So now I have to ask, where do you get the balls to think that people don't use the support tickets? There is thousands of posts complaining that their support is terrible ( In my experience they needed allot more support staff to handle the massive amount of tickets pouring in )but, not that it was unwanted and If anything they wanted it to be expanded upon to make the hassle of going through and getting process done on your ticket a whole lot smoother. You know though they got to think about there bottom dollar like a good businesses owner. This I don't blame them for doing as every business must think about profit no matter what but, don't piss on my leg and tell me the dog did it. They should have more pride in that they made a great and very successful game however, they have their flaws and now more them ever they feel the need to piss on there fans and tell them where trying to include every one when I know this is just the bank account looking a little to slim for them
