I wish I could say something more comforting than "It will get there when it gets there" but that would be a disservice to anyone anticipating it. Of everything in the new update, procedurally generated arks are the most time consuming thing that could be integrated to the xbox one. That you have PC users that suffer crashes during procedural generation should be an indicator of how taxing this could be (that said, a lot of crashes tend to occur when people go off the rails on the settings they want to bring about).

Unraveling the Mysteries of the ARK & Scorched Earth Sale!

If an event were to occur the word event would have been written on the topic title, as has been done in past entries. That said, the translation contest counts as an event in itself. -
There is a decent possibility of this. To my recollection you can still tame Onyc and Araneo, and both of those critters being tamable debuted in the last halloween event.

Q&A appears in the Digests. If you don't see that word in the topic title then you won't see it in the body of the thread. -
I prefer the term Battle Boar myself. Sounds more menacing.

What's this? A creature dossier woefully underpopulated by bees?!?

It's a typo given the flow of the statement, meant to say "Not only can it ‘strafe’ while in the air, it can also cling onto walls". -

Nothing deceptive about it though. You are the product of the consummation of a relationship between your father and your mother, just like ARK is the product of the work of its developers. -

I was referring specifically to those players.Hence why my first post on the matter was talking about people rather than a person. -

It's a review of a company's dealings, not the product itself. Imagine if you will if your community were to shun you because your father was a convicted felon. Is that right? Are you not entitled to be judged by the virtues of your person and not by your blood? -

Not to cast aspersions, but when people resort to voicing their opinions on a companys business practices and passes it off as a product review, then yeah it paints those people in a negative light. They've stated in press before that they don't plan to do any in-game monetization. Which is understandable. After all, this is a survival sandbox, not an mmorpg. On top of that they already have a merchandise button on this very community hub. -

It's not an unreasonable assumption, though how jaded does one have to be to have this as their default mindset? It's rather saddening to know that life can get miserable enough as it is, yet people would rather drag that same negativity in something that's meant to be entertainment (and often an escape from the stresses of life). I choose to believe in the opposite, but that's me. I try to have faith in people and the work they do. -
Your previous survivor body needs to be reconstructed to receive the cosmetics. In other words, die and they'll be in your inventory when you respawn.

But sandstorm has such a nice beat.

I don't think they'd allow Jat to wear either of those on the show floor of PAX.

it's mostly the mandibles plus being burrowed underground in the middle left picture that makes people think of an antlion. The presence of a bear trap icon only helps to fuel that idea.

The description has never changed. And if it did, the fact that dodoes and coels are generation 1 creatures already breaks that notion.
-
It was marketed as having primeval creatures, not necessarily dinosaurs. Besides, a touch of mythology has been around since the start, as the dragon was in the very first trailer for the game.

I think it would be rather nifty if they named it grabuge ver which (and I hope I didn't butcher this) is french for mayhem worm, as a slight nod to the SOTF community; specifically to Wormy of Team Grabuge for his antics that brought much hype to the proceedings.
-
They could also name them graboids or shriekers or bootyblasters. Well, not exactly bootyblasters but something synonymous.

PAX West, Structures Update, Naughty or Nice & Community Crunch 60

Yes, they are being aggressive in the management and removal of pillars, specifically lone ones being stuck along the purpose "to protect resources" or "to claim territory" instead of using them as building implements.
