  1. Bred Flyers lost levels.

They were, but the server has been rebooted twice while I was online in between with no change to the level. It really did just happen today when the new patch dropped :P.
  2. Bred Flyers lost levels.

It's not a big deal, I'm just saying hey, this happened with your latest patch, but there's nothing in patch notes, was it intended?
  3. Bred Flyers lost levels.

The speed stat was already locked. As I have explained, it hatched with post-nerf stats. It stayed the same level, with post-nerf stats, for days. Then changed today. Not panicking but if this is an intended change why wasn't it mentioned? And if it's not an intended change, then they need to know it's happening :P.
  4. Bred Flyers lost levels.

Yeah, at the time they were, I remember it happening. I hatched this Tapejara days ago, it's been fully grown for 3 days or so, level stayed the same. Logged on today, and they'd changed. The symptoms are not matching a week old change as the cause. Edit: Server has also been rebooted at least twice during that time with no loss of levels.
  5. Bred Flyers lost levels.

Yeah but it hatched with post-nerf stats and held those stats until today. No but it hatched with post-nerf stats and held those stats until today. The change has also only affected bred flyers, all the tamed ones (including pre-nerf) haven't changed at all. Bred dinos that had levels yesterday and lost them today can't be explained by a change that happened a week ago.
  6. Bred Flyers lost levels.

lol that's not it, this bird was hatched a few days ago (after the nerf) and was level 220+ less than 24 hours ago. Logged in today after 256.4 and levels were gone.
  7. Anyone else noticing this? My 220+ Tapejara dropped to 194, and another player on my server has 2 baby Quetzals that dropped from over 200 to 190-something. Was this an intended change we weren't informed about? Or is it some kind of random bug?
  8. Hey guys, thanks for the announcement that there is an Easter event, could you also maybe tell us what the raptor it entails? How come nobody thought to add some details to the announcement lol, you guys are bad.
  9. Re-balancing the Fliers, Mk. 2!

It's just publicly admitting that you don't know DILO you are doing with this change instead, which is great for the company's image and totally a technicality worth defending.
  10. Re-balancing the Fliers, Mk. 2!

Of course not, people were placated in the short term so now they can get back to doing what they want.
  11. Re-balancing the Fliers, Mk. 2!

How's that working out for their customer relationship ;)?
  12. Re-balancing the Fliers, Mk. 2!

They should be anticipating people's interpretations and limiting the potential for negative perception. I see what you're saying and in a non-professional setting I agree, but these guys are running a business and managing a service, so from that perspective, they were lax. You can't rely on the user base to let you off on technicalities. You have to manage their expectations and that means not saying "tomorrow" and then adding an addendum. I get that it didn't bother you. That doesn't mean it's good service management.
  13. Re-balancing the Fliers, Mk. 2!

And they literally wrote 'tomorrow'. It doesn't matter what sheepish quirky asterisk they put in after. They've said 'tomorrow' and created that expectation among the users. Better to just say "it's coming" and then say "tomorrow" when it's actually "tomorrow" than try to be funny by saying "we may or may not do anything on time". They are the ones setting all the deadlines. They can be on time 100% of the time simply by giving us realistic times. And again I really don't mind waiting. I mind people who are bad at an aspect of their business refusing to learn from making the same mistakes. What's your job? If you saw someone doing it really badly, would you want to correct them? That's all this is. From a technical perspective there is very little to fault with WC and they run a tight ship. But their service management is garbage. Engineers are poop at it.
  14. Re-balancing the Fliers, Mk. 2!

They can follow industry best practices and mitigate the outrage instead of doing the opposite every single time and stoking the flames. I don't mind waiting an extra day or three. I'm not mad because I have to wait. I'm mad because I do this for a living and these guys are raptoring terrible at managing their changes and communicating them to the user. I'm annoyed at how painfully unprofessional their operation is.
  15. Re-balancing the Fliers, Mk. 2!

lol so their management of this issue is: just admit you're incompetent and the laypeople who don't understand how bad you are will point people to where you admitted it, instead of just doing it properly. Ok.
