So, I've played Ark: SE ever since late EA and I've had my fair share of bugs / glitches / lagg etc etc. and was quite okey with all of it.. back then..
If I remember correctly, when Ark: SA was announced it was said that the core code (or whatever it's called) would be reworked from the ground and up, yet we're still seeing alot of the early ARK: SE issues, in Ark: SA.. This is not really an issue, but an example: The saddle durability, this existed in EA of Ark: SE and was later on removed as it had no function. This can now be found in Ark: SA, and it still has no functionality, but it hasn't been removed either.
Anyways, the saddle thing and alot of the other things may be considered small things (but ofc piles up in the end to a huge mess).
Anyways, what I really wonder is, how in the freekin hell can the server lag be so much worse now, with cryopods released compared to when we did not have them?
What does Nitrado ( and WC) do to actually reduce the lag on the servers? Because right now it seems like nothing is being done considering the lag
is even worse during this event that it was during the Turkey Trials as well as New Life Event.
Take 2 steps, rubberband for 2 minutes in the same spot, game lets you take another 2-3 steps and then rubberband for a few minutes again.. rinse and repeat, this is pretty much how this whole event has been so far for alot of the players I've talked to, this needs to be fixed somehow.
If Nitrado can't get their servers right, you guys need to find some other server provider that knows what they are doing, or Nitrado will drag you guys to the bottom of the abyss (even tho they saved your as*es before).
