Seriously, when did common sense become an endangered species?

Yep, old gen is dead at this point. Evetually EVERYONE who wants to play the newer games is going to have to get the next gen consoles in order to keep playing. If people have an issue with that, then that's on them not developers. This is getting ridiculous, I get these users are entitled as sin but COME ON! UE5 would be restricted as hell on old consoles, there would almost be no point in upgrading if WC stayed on old gen... But no, they are all just going to kick scream and cry just because "It's too Expensive!!!!" and the concept of savings and sales are just too complex for them to comprehend. Nintendo recently had a deal which priced the Switch at SEVEN USD! Not $70, not $700, not $7000, JUST SEVEN DOLLARS!!! A child could make that in allowance EASY, or god forbid mowing a lawn for money! either way that deal was WAY cheaper than a Series X/S or a PS5, AND a Switch could easily run ASA. But will they take such an oppertunity? Nope, because ASA also costs money and as stated before, Sales and saving money just isn't an option to them.

Dude, just give up. The entitled ones are only complaining for attention at this point, best to ignore them. Don't feed the trolls and the like. You're not wrong by any stretch but we're 4 weeks in and the complainers aren't losing steam. Had they ever bothered to take any of us seriously, they would have left this forum LONG before now. But they haven't so its a pretty strong tell that they don't mean word they say on the topic of "'Not going to buy ASA or ARK 2" or "Wild Card Bad, Garble Garble Garble!". Don't engadge with them, because they aren't interested in being reasonable.

Hell, I upgraded to A Series X as soon as I could because of how old and unresponsive my old Xbox one was. So really I don't blame ASA being a new game meant for new generation consoles. If anything the new generation machines can help push ASA to be as great as it can be just by using current and more powerful technology rather than a few dusty old fossils... No pun intended.

That Carno Armor Concept is making me reconsider my possition on weather or not to buy ARK 2, the concept of it being a two seater this time around also hypes it up a bit. Now if only ASA would have a similar craft system too. As for the Redesign of the loot drop, I love it. looks FAR more alien and high-tech than before. Kinda reminds me of something you'd see in the Halo series. And turning the revolving plates into a stand for the crate is a pretty genious touch. Over all, great design. Hope to see what it looks like in other teirs in the near future.

I think it's cuter that you and so many others are still here complaining, ASE is done, soon to be obsolete. If you don't like that, don't buy ASA or ARK 2 and leave the forums. It's a simple concept that you and many others beleive to be rocket science. it's been three weeks, either move on or go away.

Good luck convincing anyone, This thread is evidence that people just want something to whine about just so they can have attention in their (thankfully very short) lives. If that thought ever DID cross their minds once, they wouldn't be here raving "WC Bad!" every day. Don't believe me, one keeps replying to my comments despite me telling them I'm ignoring everything they say. As if they believe their (already disporven) opinions will ever sway me to THEIR entitled thought process. I'm not going to name names because that's how people get slapped with reports. Congratulations, you just proved why what you are demanding is entitled and unreasonable. Also these were made back IN JANUARY, back when the plan was to make the UE5 recode a free update, not a remastered game like now. Had you bothered to ACTUALLY READ RECENT CRUNCHES you'd know why plans have changed. Hell, you haven't even bothered to read WHAT YOU HAVE POSTED HERE. Beleive me I DO get it, I've been playing since it came to consoles. But the demands are just getting ridiculous, so mcuh so that i'm straining myself by trying to refrain from drowning many of the people still complaining in ridicule.

More the reason why it's laughable, this forum is a speck compared to the actual online game. Yet SO many people are panicing like it's the freaking rapture, despite how may people are still playing the game... Regardless if they are aware or not of the recent news. It also doesn't help that content Creators like Lt Bud Lite Beer (or "Beer Man" as I like to call him) spread misinformation about any news posted just to rile people up and boost thier own veiws.

Oh? and at what point did WC say they were using the same code as before? I don't remember reading anything of the sort. So thats ANOTHER thing they COULD very well be doing, optimizing the code to better suit the new engine. YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, full stop, thothing else aside from obvious unwarrented entitlement. And it has nothing to do with what EC does or doesn't do, its the illusion that you BELIEVE you know more about ASA than the people who ACTUALLY ARE MAKING THE GAME. It's Embarassing, it's why I insist on calling members of the community "Children", because it's not me "Trying to be offensive or concesending to others" or whatever people make up when reporting me... It's me being factually accurate. Hell just do a search on ARK's player population and you'll see significant chunk of them are minors. Minors who likely never even seen these forums let alone read them (even when said announcements are posted in game for all to read). So it's no wonder they make assumptions on everything, they made it their mission to NOT know what was going on in the first place.

Okay, then why are you asking for wild card to do it if you already know what it's going to look like? Why waste time showing that off (and thus putting in less time making sure ASA has fewer issues than its predecessor) when some one else already did the work for them? You don't seem to understand that even those "dudes" took weeks or possibly even months to do what they did to make ASE look they way it does in their port in UE5. Maybe not all of their assests have been ported over to the new engine yet? Maybe they giving more creatures a touch up? Perhaps we are getting some new TLC's to creatures that desparatly need them? Maybe they're working on some of the new features they promised to give in ASE, but couldn't due to time constraints and engine limitations? the lest goes on, YOU don't know what's going on at the studio so you don't get to be anywhere near as entitled as you sound right now.

It's only been 3 weeks since the announcemnt, chill out and be patient it takes time to program even the most simplistic of games never mind an gargantuen one like ARK

Given how many people are still crying about controversy and threatening to "not buy the game", nope I don't think they will be. Can't build excessivly if you aren't around to build at all.

Luckily, MOST of those kinds of people claim to "not be buying ASA" and won't be on any of the servers of the remaster... Only time will tell if they will make good on those "threats" (not that they'll be missed either way). So now instead of seeing the brain dead strats of massing the big dinosaurs and building frame rate destroying bases, we may end up seeing people who are ACTUALLY trying to have fun by NOT ruining it for others. So in the future maybe we COULD see some more gimicy/fun/interesting creatures that aren't Kiaju sized clones of something we already have.
