    It depends on the cave which creature is the best. For the water cave on The Island a Baryonyx is the best and it's also good in the Swamp Cave. Some people even use flocks of Dimorphodons for caving. In my opinion it's Thylacoleos, Baryonyx, Ferox, Carnos and packs of Raptors/Hyaenodons/Dire Wolves/Dimorphs.

    Tried to jump? Or grappling hook, wing suit, climbing pick? Sometimes it helps if you knock yourself out as well.

    That would be my guess. We had a similar bug when the Mesopithecus was introduced to the game. Once it got spooked and ran away, its food drained super quick and it just died within seconds. Nobody could explain for quite a while back in these days. "Did it die to a heart-attack?" was a very common question...

    Mods... Just a lot of mods... I can't imagine playing SP with official rates and without mods. But to be honest if you own the Extinction or Genesis-DLC, things aren't as bad because you can do orbital supply drops (EXT) and missions (GEN) to get some good gear + jerky/brews/stews as well. And on GEN you can just collect hexagons and buy some of the stuff you need.

    My lvl 224 Raptor which had 30 points into melee pre-tame and ended up with 36 after wouldn't have ended in an Alpha Rex' stomach if higher stats mean more points into them after taming...

    My experience: bite attack of the Therizino or breed Ovis/Phiomias, kill and chainsaw them.

    Yep, Wildcard confirmed it already, but the Fed-Tek-Armor will have less functionality than the regular one. Don't know what functionalities they but maybe we can just fly with it...

    I had the same issue. My problem was the "Crystal Clear" mod. Never happened again after I uninstalled it, deleted all of its files on my PC and verified my files after all as well.

    It is just luck for the stats. Don't know how high one can go but I guess 218 which would be a chance of you winning the lottery twice or three times. I had over 50 points a couple of times and the highest was 57 in melee on an Argentavis iirc...

    Afaik it gives your creatures some sort of immunity towards the Yuty's fear roar and debuffs hostiles. Not 100% sure though...

    Afaik you can keep the event in singleplayer/your own server as long as you want just by keeping the startup-command -ActiveEvent=FearEvolved

    If you use the settimeofday-command after the Dodorex spawned and you set the time to, let's say 8 am (I think everything later than the day-change time of 5:15 am), it won't despawn...

    We're both wrong. The 3rd and 4th spawned nowhere near my bases... 3rd spawned at red ob and the 4th could not be found so far. But yes, hibernation is active.

    Hmmm... Maybe I found a pattern for single player. I found it again, this time south-east of carnivore-island. So 2/2 times he spawned just out of render-distance where my bases are on The Island and it was always down left of where I walk out of my front door.

    Go to Carnivore Island up north and circle it with a good Rex, Theri, Giga, etc...

    I fought it on my singleplayer. As @DehydratedWater said, it only spawns on The Island every 3rd night. I found the Dodorex in the south near "Stonehenge".
