I got it. The problem was I had view distance on low. Medium fixed it. 🙂

Does anybody know what's wrong? Every other tame I have looks normal (Theri, Rex, Argy, etc.)...

I consider my 7-8 year old a potato. Ryzen 5 1600X, GTX 1080 and 16GB RAM... But yeah, it really looks better and with some tweaks (mainly turning the clouds off) I get decent graphics and 40-60 fps. I played 3 hours and so far not a single crash. Fingers crossed! 😀

Yep, I tested it for a while and Gigas give 2-3 stats at 100%. Brontos only give 50% and I read Rexes give 80%, Trikes only 40% and Carchas 100% as well. So for a better understanding I mutated the main stats (hp, stam, weight + melee) up to 50 points. • As the Brontos for the hosts with perfect craving, the baby Rhynio came out with 25 points into hp and 25 into weight most of the time. Never had more than 2 stats (and 25 pointsinto them) from the mutated Brontos. • The Gigas for the hosts with perfect craving, one of the babies had 50 points into hp, 50 into stam and 50 into melee. This might have been just a lucky one. Every other Host-Giga gave birth to a baby Rhynio with only 2 boosted stats. If you play on PC you can add the mod "Force Fix Dino Mod" which allows you to breed any creature, so you can get a perfect Rhynio. 🙂

I saw this on reddit as well but I haven't had any luck so far. Looted all the drops about 10 times now. Maybe I'll try the Lava Golem pretty soon...

I was about to write the same. I own Ark + All DLCs on PC and Ark on PS4. Now I have to buy it a 3rd time for the full price?! This will never happen! I even doubt the game will be fully functional on release, as every other game related to WC/SnailGames, so we'll be their guinea pigs again. I'd be OK if the price was around $25-30 but not more! And btw: Wildcard should make ASE + every DLC completely free right now! I can't imagine how new players feel when they buy it a few weeks before ASA drops without knowing that ASE will be dead.

I had about 10k hours in Ark when the game magically decided to delete my character. Since then I never touched Ark again and, instead, I'm playing all the PS4/PC games I've never touched. When I heard about the UE5 news I gave Ark another chance but after the actual news I'll keep working on my "pile of shame".

Now I just hope Wildcard will troll those who voted for that dumb giant insect... 😄

Then I'm one of the "lucky" rares now. I lost my level 175 character on single player while I uncryoed a Megachelon on Fjordur's Helms Deep. The char just has been deleted. 😔

Same problem here. I have about 350GB on my C:\ and E:\ drives but C is the only one I can install it. Close to the end Steam told me 3 times that I ran out of space and another stupid thing is that the update changed size from 25GB to 15.1 GB to now 21.4 GB... Some strange stuff is going on! Can someone tell me what total free disk space I need? I already deleted Scorched Earth, The Center, Aberration, Fjoerdur, Crystal Isles and a couple of mods. 😕

This is exactly what came to my mind when I saw the new picture of the Sinomacrops... Please Wildcard, give it its old (original) eyes back!

If it really works as intended and you won't be harassed by stupid Ichthyornis', Pegos and Microraptors anymore then I'm very, very happy with the Sinomacrops!

LOL! I'd bet the Dinopithecus wouldn't even make the top 3 if people knew that it wouldn't receive the ability to use guns... 😄
